Emilio the groomer always does a wonderful job with both my dogs. No matter how disheveled they come in, they always come out looking adorable and clean. I always ask for Emilio. He’s been with my second dog since we got her.I got my first dog 10 years ago from this place when it was called “American Dog Club”. I got my second dog 4 years ago when it was called Pups4Love.” Both dogs are still doing well today, no health issues.The owner is very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of food, treats and toys.My dogs have been getting groomed at this wonderful place their entire lives, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

PLEASE SEE POSTED PICTURE OF MY DYING DOG TAKEN SHORTLY AFTER BEING GROOMED BY ALBERTSON PET CENTER.PLEASE SHARE THIS POST ON EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT RELATED TO PET CARE IN NASSAU COUNTY!!!I BELIEVE MY DOG WAS NEGLECTED OR ABUSED BY ALBERTSON PET CENTER and have given the store owner every opportunity to cooperate in a review of how my dog was treated, but he has refused, which suggests to me that my dog was most likely neglected or abused in his care.Our previous groomer recently retired, so we tried Albertson Pet Center. My dog was groomed on Friday 1/12/24 and was admitted to the Veterinary Emergency Room Intensive Care Unit on Saturday 1/13. Please see picture of my dog fighting for her life. The ER asked me to request video surveillance of the grooming as we believe that the treatment during grooming may have brought about the critical health situation. After I showed my drivers license to the person who claimed to be the store owner, he refused to provide access to any video footage and also refused to provide his first or last name. He showed no concern for my dog - at all!He made me wait outside his store that has double locked doors and requires a buzz-in for nearly an hour in the cold, continuously telling me that he would bring the video out on his phone for me to watch. There is video of him agreeing to show me the video, but he lied and would not show even one second of the video.When it appeared that he would not show me the video, I began to leave. He came out and called me back and convinced me that he was getting the video. Then, he called the police to tell them I was harassing him and his customers. The police laughed at him behind his back seemingly because he was not at all credible in the presence of the facts at hand. He also called my sister-in-law who had dropped the dog off and picked her up, and began harassing her.BASED ON OTHER REVIEWS, THERE SEEMS TO BE A PATTERN OF THIS BUSINESS HARASSING AND MENACING ANYONE WHO COMPLAINS ABOUT HIS BUSINESS!!!! OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT NEGLECT, BUT THE OWNER ALWAYS DENIES ANY WRONGDOING.I will never return to this business, as I believe my dog was either NEGLECTED or ABUSED and the owner will not share any of the videos. This is public notice to preserve those videos for litigation, although I am confident he will now delete them. This person IS ACTING GUILTY AND AS THOUGH HE HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE.Another trusted and highly regarded canine professional who knows my dog for her entire life texted me the following: "she could have been straining against the loop they put around their neck to keep them from moving around too much and/or from jumping off the table. Or...she was left unattended and she jumped or fell and was hanging. I’ve heard of that happening. Something he is liable for happened because he won’t show you [the video]....Definitely something happened there. Whats the guys [sic] reason for not showing you the video?"Please pray that my dog survives, and please carefully consider where you bring your dog.UPDATE: 1/15: Molly is still very sick in ICU. Called owner to beg for video. He refused to share video with me even though I am the registered owner of the dog with my phone number in his records and even though I showed my driver license. He said that maybe Molly was hit by a car! The audacity! He does not seem to care at all about my dog who is fighting for her life, and he is acting like a very guilty person with something to hide. #ShowUsTheVideo!!!!I do NOT recommend this store to ANYONE who cares about their dog!!! Pet store owners and workers should be kind, gentle, loving, and empathetic - not rude, gruff, menacing, and callous.Please see the attached video where he says he will show the video "in a second" but fails to do so.If the video is shared and there is no abuse or negligence, I would be more than happy to change my review.Until then...Do you think he is innocent or guilty? ARE YOU WILLING TO BET YOUR FURRY FAMILY MEMBER'S LIFE ON THIS MAN?

Albertson Pet Grooming is simply the best! Their team is professional, caring, and truly love animals. My fur baby always comes back looking and feeling fantastic. The staff is always ready to offer advice and their grooming skills are top-notch. They treat every pet like their own and it shows in their work. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pet's grooming needs. 5 stars all the way! My whole family comes here and my dogs May and Ruby always are so excited to come here! My dogs look brand new and fresh when I pick them up! #1 Grooming place in long island. They can check how much your dog weighs, they give them treats, in the end when they are finished, you can see your dog from the window its so cute! They also have sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts, beds, treats, accessories and so much more!

Terrible experience here, would highly advise against going here. This place cut and abused my dog. They denied it and when I tried showing them the cut the were aggressive and completely denied it.

So happy to find this place! They don’t keep the dogs in cages, which is hard to come by and keeps my dog Kody happy and stress free! The grooming is always perfect and my dog always looks so good! Groomer is also very nice and you can tell he cares about the dogs.

I had a great experience at the shop. Jeffrey was very helpful with helping me get the right dog food I needed and I also was able to get my dogs groomed here. I love the way how they groomed my dog and I also loved the fact that he was so calm when I came to pick him back up I had a great experience. I will definitely return and have my dogs groomed again.

This place is Awesome!! The groomer Mr. Emillio did a FANTASTIC job on my puppy Coco . I would give 10 stars if I could honestly . I gave a tip but should have given more . He went far and beyond to get the clean cut grooming I wanted and I couldn't be happier . I call his grooming "work of art.". The amount of care and details he put into my dog is remarkable. Worth every penny! best groomer in Long Island !!. Mr. Emillio is outstandingly professional and the manager is nice as well:).

Finally found a reliable, local, professional Groomer who’s staff is polite, courteous, efficient and skilled at their craft. I have a somewhat rambunctious but lovable Mini Golden Doodle. He was way overdue for a hair cut and our previous groomer closed. I have tried multiple places with nothing but disappointment. Albertson Pet Center gave me an appointment at my convenience and did an unbelievable job. They didn’t leave him in some tiny cage in the back until I arrived to pick him up. Instead, The store has two play areas in the front with a big window so they can enjoy the scenery and see you when you arrive. So cute!! Thrilled that my search is finally over. Would highly recommend 🐶🐶🐶

They did an amazing job on my dog & puppy and will follow what you ask them to do. My dog looks like a puppy again, I am so pleased with the haircuts. My puppy is very playful so he takes some patience yet they were still both done pretty quickly. Neither one seemed at all upset or anxious when I came to pick them up. If you want the job done right and a great looking pupp, this is the place to go.

If you’re looking for the best groomers, look no further. I can’t speak highly enough of the excellence demonstrated here. Mats? No problem. These are the first guys who ever have cared about my dog’s appearance more than I do. There is no comparison.

Bring your pet here for a great grooming appointment. We just picked up our little Heidi pup from her grooming appointment and she looks beautiful.The staff is professional, punctual and personable. Heidi came home happy. I highly recommend this establishment. The place is immaculate.

This is the first grooming establishment that has taken my directions for my puppy’s grooming and has nailed it perfectly each time. Completely reliable and safe as my puppy has space to move around after the grooming and I love seeing her through the window :) Definitely recommend!

I have been a customer for over 17 years. However, recently he increased not only prices but refused to provide services to customers if its not meeting a certain amount of $$$. My friends and I (minors) were accused of stealing multiple dog toys when we just paid for one not even two minutes before. He followed us outside the shop and told us he watched us on the camera steal something and told us we were lying. Never coming back❤️
