The people working here are nice. but half the items (especially groceries) are consistently out of stock and have been for over 18 months. Never know if I'm just gonna be wasting my time trying here first.

The shelves are often not stocked with lots of product on "trucks" blocking the isles.they need to hire someone to stock shelves after store closes.the cashier's shouldn't have to stock

They have a good selection of items. Generally clean and orderly. Employees are helpful and courteous and were wearing masks. I am beginning to prefer this store to the other dollar chain.

Full grocery section including dairy and frozen goods. Prices are higher than grocery stores and another local place, so I marked it down one star. But overall, very grateful to have the variety of items available in my small town!

Quick n easy to get what I need in a pinch. Only thing that stopped me from 5 star is when u have a line of customers don't stand there at the register n have a 10 min long convo with another customer about breast feeding n how their daughter/granddaughter is sore n dried up n can't get the baby to latch. NOT SOMETHING I CARE TO HEAR ABOUT, OR HAVE TO LISTEN TO WHEN I STANDING WITH MY ARMS FULL HOLDING STUFF WAITING FOR YOU TO FINISH YOUR CONVERSATION SO I CAN CASH OUT N GO HOME!!!!! NOT TO MENTION THE 5 OTHER CUSTOMERS BEHIND ME HAVING TO DO THE SAME.

Clean store, friendly employees whenever I have gone. Usually have hard to find items, although not always a huge stock of them. But, at least enough to get you by.

Worst store I think anyone can go . They treat you like your nothing the treat children like I have never seen before the 2 lady's that closed in April 19th are the worst two humans that there are just sicking I mean sicking can not believe a store like this let's what ever they are work there

I love this Dollar General!! It has just a little of everything you need, basics. Perfect for those little things you forget or run out of quickly. For Afton, with limited resources, it's just what we needed!!

General Dollar in Afton is awesome! Puts Family Dollar in Harpursville to shame! Clean, well stocked, friendly staff!
