If there is an issue with your animal after being in there care. Instead of checking their messages, they wait till there open. Even if it's because they made a baby judgement call. After hours or when there are closes they transfer out to Cornell to pay more money for an issue that they should address. They have no follow up issues on in house procedures preformed by them. If outside hours.

Our little guy wasn't feeling well. Pam was kind, cared enough to have us come in a hour before closing. Dr. Tim was so patient so through. He explained and showed us the blood and X-ray results. Never made us feel like we were holding him up. Our little guy is feeling much better due to the care of Country veterinary Care. They’re the Best!

Our boy, Clark, died a year ago this coming September 24, just east of Afton as we were traveling. We were treated so kindly. We were on a trip from Florida to Maine. It was a hard time. Country Care took care of cremation for Clark and we picked him up the following week in our way home. They made a difficult time much easier.

The staff is friendly and personable. They understand costs may exceed expectations and seem very competent! They were able to do the blood tests at their facility and had answers to questions of my dog's issue. It was pretty efficient. I won't hesitate to take her back.

I cannot say enough good things about this office! The entire staff is friendly, caring and knowledge. Dr Tim and Dr Val are top notch! With them I have experienced everything from routine vaccinations to having to make the gut wrenching decision to let my baby go. They are clear in their explanations which makes making the right decision so easy.

I recommend going to Country Care Vet for your needs. There is one veterinarian who knows my whole feelings like a book!! Val respects all concerns of animals and owners. She makes sure that we are happy. Even through hard choices, I know she is the vet I trust the most!! She looks at all possibilities and tries everything to make sure she does the job wonderful. I know all animals are in the best hands with her!!

I've used them for yrs, back when they were Jockey Port. Very nice and friendly staff. Clean. Took my dog in for a big hotspot that formed rapidly. Not as expensive as I thought it would be. Just over $100 with visit, 2meds, rabies shot and a cone so she wouldn't itch her head.

Everyone here is very pleasant. We don't have to wait too long, 5 minutes tops. We have had 5 cats in the 6 years we have been coming here and Dr. Val and Dr. Tim have treated all of them very sweetly and understand country cat lifestyle :)

Wonderful, warm people who truly care. My dogs recently needed dental work and I couldn't have asked for them to be treated better. Dr Val is their doctor and she is awesome. I apologize for not knowing the name of the person at the desk. She is fantastic as well. I can't say enough good things about them.

In June I called this office to have my dogs nails cut and was told were not taking new clients and now my dog has an emergency today and they denied service. I understand the nails but a emergency you want me to drive to another place that doesn’t even open until an hour later. I own a home in Afton I should be given the same courtesy as anyone else whom has a home here.

We had a good visit with our German Shepherd. The receptionist is very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Tim is very good with our dog. He diagnosed the malady and prescribed the needed medication. This is a small veterinary practice that gives very personal service.

I have six...yes, six cats. The latest was a drop off who was mistreated and malnourished when I found him on our property.After being lied to and misled by the local shelter, my wife and I drove straight to Afton without an appointment.We weren't even an emergency but straight off of their lunch at 12:48 PM we rolled in with our newest.The level of care and services that they provide should be an example to any facility who is entrusted to care for those who cannot care or even speak for themselves.I trust my cats lives to these goodly people and would highly recommend their clinic to anyone who is looking for a veterinarian clinic of the highest standards.We appreciate your reliable and honorable approach to caring not only for animals but looking out for their owners best interests as well.THANKS TO DR. We have been going to Country Care for a long time. Dr Tim and Dr Val are great and the other people working there are just as good. I had a miniature dashound good lift for 19 years and I know it was partly because of the care he got from them. About a year ago We rescued another miniature dashound who's been abused and for the last 10 months Dr Tim and Dr Val have helped us improve her life and show her love.My daughter also has two miniature Dash Hounds and they take amazing care of them.Thank you all for thing. These guys have always gone above and beyond. When my little man had an obstruction they immediately did surgery and saved his life. If any of my animals are sick they make time to see them. I would highly recommend them.
