Oh my god I can't say enough about the wonderful staff...they took us in emergency for my beloved dog Tucker and it didn't end well..he had to be put to sleep and the staff was so caring..I can't say enough about this place

My pets have always been the most important thing in my life and I would do anything to take care of them. My family has brought our 5 cats and 1 dog to this veterinary office for over 3 years and even after I moved away from home I still make the drive to bring my cats to this vet. They value their connections with not only your pets but the people/owners too. They go above and beyond for every visit and are genuinely some of the most kind people I know. I would recommend this office to everyone!

I cannot thank this vets office enough for how compassionate and caring they were when we finally decided to put our Maxi Boy down. The staff are not here for just a paycheck like other vets, they truly care about the animals. Our Max was always taken care of exceptionally, even during covid the lady who would bring him back out after his check up would ask if she could give him a hug goodbye. Putting him down was such a hard desicion but they helped make the process as smooth as possible. By far the best vet around.

This place is always kind and treats all my cats amazingly! I called worried about my one cat because he wasn't himself and they got me in first thing the next day and took my kitty from not himself to being better than he was before! The vet also calls you and tells you exactly whats wrong and goes over things with you. So many other places don't do that, it's refreshing that they do here. I highly recommend this place!

I was offered a same day appointment as my little Lady was very sick! I took an appointment the next day and was provided exceptional care from the moment we walked in the door! South Jeff Animal Hospital:My wife and I have a combined experience of going to South Jeff Animal Hospital for well over 20 years. We have over the years owned several dogs of our own and in addition own a kennel .....housing about 15 to 25 dogs at a time. This gives us the unique experience of seeing a veterinarian more than the average customer. We pride ourselves on the safety, health and well being of each dog in our care. Each and every time with have had to bring a dog to Dr. Ferry's office it has been nothing less than a professional experience. The staff has always been knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. If we could give them 10 stars we could . We know our dogs and our customers dogs are always in the best care when we are lucky enough to get a appointment with them.

Dr Miller always talks (calls) after the visit to explain my pet's examination. She calls before I leave there, all the while abiding by the Covid restrictions...The staff is as cordial and helpful as she is. I always feel my pets' are in good hands...Dr Miller has always responded quickly to any medical issue...South Jeff Veterinary Hospital is definitely 5 Star!

I reduced a kitten who was placed here and had a wound on her neck. The vet herself came out and explained her situation and how to care for her & planned a follow up for her spay. Her spay went wonderfully. Nothing but good vibes!

My family and I have gone there for ALL our pets. But since my youngest dog was taken by my daughter and falls within the 5 yr mark. They wouldn't take new patients. Even though he was there. He was bleeding so bad son his paw. And His eye looks like he took a branch to it while outside. Who turns away a dog in need. I have his paper work from there. Rude receptionist. This is why vets up here are ridiculously high priced. No compassion. At all

If it were possible to give negative stars I would. Staff was extremely rude and couldn’t explain there own policies when asked. Furthermore they claim to be “affordable” and have the “lowest prices around” when in fact it’s the exact opposite. Vet I spoke with was extremely rude and condescending and made it a point to insult me stating if I couldn’t afford their random fees I “should take my dog to tractor supply”. Needless to say I won’t ever be returning.

I love this place. I've had a cat spayed and one neutered. They took great care of my fur babies and even waivered an office visit and clipped my one cat's toenails at no charge. They're affordable and really care. I strongly recommend them!!

Took my cat there the first time to get his shots renewed and get him dewormed. The prices are reasonable, and they gave my cat a free check up when I was worried about a lump he developed shortly after receiving the vaccine. It's also nice they don't require me to have my cat in a carrier as long as I keep him under control when other animals are present.

I came here less than a month ago to obtain a health certificate for my furry friend, so we could fly together. I left feeling horrible, as the vet said my dog was a “misbehaved therapy dog”. The vet continued to throw unecessary comments about emotional support animals, and how “they are all service animals now a day”. She also made a remark that it “sucked for the people who actually need them”. She is not aware of my condition or why I have the right to an Emotional support animal, nor should this have been an issue at all. My pet is a comfort dog and is not required to be trained to do something specific (nor was she misbehaving, she was frightened). I usually don’t do reviews but this offended me in many ways. Judging someone off their appearance and assuming whether they are fit for a helping companion is wrong and lacks empathy.

I’m a long time customer take my 3 dogs and cat there, called for and appointment for my old lab that can’t barely walk all of a sudden, called at 830 am didn’t get a call back at almost 11, tried to give me and appointment a week later, told them my dog was suffering they replied and I quote “times are tough, try calling around” take your animal anywhere else, these people are heartless! Guess being a long time loyal customer means nothing to these people!

Absolutely LIVID at the receptionist response! My dog suffered a stoke over the weekend and was bad enough to have to wait a day to see anybody. I called the on call service to give and get as much info as possible. Was told call and should be good to go ONLY TO BE DENIED because I'm a "New" client...ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION WHATSOEVER..further more I will do my best in all future instances to keep anybody I know or care about going to such a careless and cold "Vet"........I truly feel bad for you if you have a loved pet in their care......

After trying repeatedly to get my Husky into their clinic they would not accept him due to not having enough room in their schedule even though he is on the verge of dying. It makes me sad to realize the reason for veterinarians is to save animals and that most that I go to don't care enough help. We now have to go put dog down because they could not schedule him in.

Dr. Ferry has spoiled me. I HATE going anywhere else. She is amazing, takes the time to answer any and all questions. Always amazing and excellent at what she does. Prices are very fair too. Only vet I trust for my bulldogs.
