Cool place to stop after you visit the caverns! They have a lot of nice things to buy. Typical souvenir things but they also have handcrafted jewelry, knives and other accessories that were really neat that were unique to the area. They have a little grocery store and some really cool taxidermy and statue animals! We definitely enjoyed walking through this store! This is also the campground office. They have public restrooms outside the building, they also have a post office here! So if you're looking to drop mail there is a blue box outside the store. There is also a laundromat but the hours vary so be aware of that.We were boondocking a few miles away from this location. We inquired about dumping our tanks and refilling our water tank here at this location. They do allow this, which was nice! They do charge a fee depending on the size of your tanks. We have a 40 ft fifth wheel with two tanks and they charged just $15.The only negative thing I would have to say about this location is that the staff must have been having a bad week because the two days that we stopped there two different employees were pretty short with us. They probably deal with a lot of rude people though!Overall I definitely recommend stopping in and giving this small business some support!

While this place has a few stuffs, the clerk was extremely rude and unhelpful. It has a goreery section, But good luck finding what you need. The gift shop has too many "alien"-themed items, it was too expensive.

Cute shop if you need some last minute gifts. They have a cute setup of statues (as you see in the pics) to take selfies with. If you have some time, stop by, say hi, support your local stores.

I would highly recommend taking any food, supplies, water and especially BOOZE with you from the grocery store in Carlsbad before you come down here. The gift shop has some cute stuff though and lots of jewelry. There are some fun photo ops inside as well. The 3 stars are for the gift shop only. The grocery store has next to nothing and I’m pretty certain the only place to buy beer is the restaurant across the street.

Whatta fun little place! Friendly staff and great prices. Got a sweatshirt and a bunch of ice cream for the kids for about $20. Expected the sweatshirt to be $30 alone. Great place and exceptional prices!

It’s a pretty nice gift shop before you get to Carlsbad caverns but would definitely wait to spend your money at the caverns gift shop as it’s much larger and prices are the same!

This is an overpriced tourist trap. I appreciate everyone's right to make a living but I prefer to do my National Parks a favor and buy my souvenirs there. Even the Blue Bunny ice cream sandwiches at the park are 50 cents cheaper than this place. The only quasi cool thing was the Zoltan machine from Big fame.

BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND SNAKS!!!! SucksNothing of variety of food, also super expensive the small selection of eatable and drinkable stuff. It is really un profesional, there is nothing on the venders and what they have is just trowed there from Walmart and and changed 3 times it’s price. Some good company should take these because there is a good flow of tourists coming trough.If you are coming bring your own food for days snacks sandwiches, your own meet to cook here because it is pretty and relaxing but the services are so so bad.

Good stop! Depending on what direction you are going you should probably get gas here. It is pricey, so just get enough to get you to the next gas station, but be warned the next gas station could be many many miles away if you are going in the El Paso direction.

This place has a variety of items. It is worth visiting after seeing Carlsbad Caverns. I got myself two amazing shot glasses and a hack sack! Nostalgia.

Stopped in on a Saturday morning on our way to Guadalupe mountains national park. The staff is friendly, they have a lot of souvenirs to choose from. Lots of photo ops if you have kids. Also there is a place to pick up snacks for the road.

This place never disappoints! We come here every time we come to the caverns. IS IT A GIFT SHOP? IS IT A MUSEUM? IT'S BOTH! They've got a lot of small collectible stuff, shirts, socks, etc in the main room. Some fun to look at oddities are in the second room to the left. Beyond that is the grocery store. They've got small cans of food, ice, a soda fountain, nachos and more. If you're camping and need ice, this is a decent place to get it, fairly priced for sure. A lot better than driving back to Carlsbad to get some. The staff was always friendly when we were in there and always quick to assist.

Kind of a pale shadow of it's past self to be honest. There are still neat souvenirs and clothing like coarse Mexican style cotton sweaters and tshirts to be had, along with curios and some grocery store items. There are few entertaining machines and sculptures.This is a good place to grab a drink or snack before moving along on the highway to your next adventure.

This place looks big and nice from the road, but it's not. And the inside didn't have everything that advertised on the outside. If you just want the experience of stopping in, then okay. Otherwise, you're better off stopping at convenient store or gas station.
