I was the I only customer in their store and a young woman in her early thirties who was the cashier was extremely rude to me. She wouldn't make eye contact, and when I tried to make small talk with her she snapped at me with rudeness. The young men in the back who loaded my feed were cordial. However, I'll never step foot in that store again because of the unacceptable behavior of their cashier.

I always like to shop locally and keep my money in our community. I have found Hughes Supply is generally $1.00 or more cheaper than Tractor Supply in Alamogordo on the products I buy from them so that's a win for me!The staff are all hard working and very helpful and I appreciate that as well.

It’s great to see a local store compete against a out of town store. Competive prices and better and more consistent products. They actually know or can find out when products should be in. Very knowledgeable on the products they sell. Ryan was very professional and helpful. And also has a good sense of humor because I can be a bit offensive for today’s younger crowd. Great job and thanks for the local hospitality.

Won’t buy from them again. These BIG ROOT PIECES were not even in half a flake. Both my horses choked on it $28 bale of hay.

One of the reasons I like NM.....From the 1st time I showed up here, they have treated me and my dog Onyx like family. I definitely recommend this place 💯❌️💯

Love this place. Great customer service inside and out back. Brandi is a gem, and all three of the boys out back are absolutely sweet and helpful, even after working all day in the hot sun!They’ve got any and all kinds of feed out back, and most medical supplies, fencing, horse supplies, and even tack inside. Good selection for a small Feed Store!Well worth the extra drive outside of Alamo to feed my animals.

Very nice convenient store but.....No public restrooms??? I was told to go down the street. I have spent several hundred dollars at this store ( over time). Never again. It was so rude. I’m not a derelict!

I always bought 1 ton bales from them. But this time the alfalfa was terrible. I must of got a bale of clippings and that was it. I couldn't even pull a flake off. Very disappointed.
