Very nice people work here. They are so kind, and they are really appreciative whenever anyone drops by with a donation for the animals.You can adopt a pet here for a reasonable price, and you can even get your pet chipped here so it can be identified if it's ever lost.The shelter does so much to help the animals in the community.

Very great place! Everyone here does their best to give all the animals love and playtime. They keep their animals safe, clean, and always make sure they go to loving homes. I've adopted a few cats and a dogs from here and they've got the best life thanks to the shelter! All the pictures posted are my pets from the shelter!

Volunteers take great pride in their animals and are respectful and kind. It's great to visit a shelter with so few animals, the animals in this town seem very loved and cared for :)

I adopted a kitten that had been there quite awhile....then I had to be hospitalized afterwards for a week. They took him into boarding for me without charge and I love those people. Then my daughter saw a picture on their website and she called me to say it was our Chiwawa that had been taken away from us for selfishness on my in-laws part and kept away for 3 years . She was wandering around aimlessly. 18 years old and fragile I was just wanting to bring her home. They verified she was indeed my girl through photos I supplied and God bless them I was able to bring her home that day

Adopted a beautiful energetic and playful little calico kitten here today. The place is clean, yes it smells like animals, it's full of animals! Duh...Bottom line, I got a healthy kitty for my signature. Absolutely no fee. Thank you for my new little terror!2yr. Update; My kitten, named Trouble, is now a cat. Happy, healthy, demanding and finicky, She's a wonderful little gift I got from the shelter, and she's fixed! Also cost me nothing. Want a pet? Try the shelter first!

This place is terrible. First we tried to rescue 3 cats from them whom were our close friend who passed away. The manager never told us about any time frame or fees. So we went home prepared our place to add 3 beautiful cats. We went back to get them 2 days later and they wanted us to pay almost $200. We didn't have $200 so my wife and I had to say goodbye forever to them. My wife was so devastated it broke my heart to see her cry. We went to the police who said "too bad you should have came and got them sooner". So nobody cared about giving these 3 wonderful cats who I helped raise a great home. All they wanted was money. Heartless how human being the manager Maribel or whatever is. Place is very dirty and animals look sick.

Back a couple of years ago.it seemed as if they didn't care to get dogs or cats antibiotics when really needed them on the pound side..I don't know if today of 2019 if they are truly caring to help when a dog or cat needs meds..Since its a New Shelter..I don't know if truly they changed ..besides a new building .and different people that have control of it..I would think that Hopely they changed from what it was three years ago..the type of care they have needed. As in dogs & Cats ..besides just putting them down. I have over the years adopted a lot of cats..and it just seemed as if they didn't care to really treat sick animals that came in on pound side..you adopt your responsibility to get meds for them.to get them healthy.So my post of what I have personally seen over 3 years ago.They didn't care.If animal got medical treatment.
