Husband and I stopped here just to switch drivers and decided to go in and get a drink….best decision ever!!! Got a tour of the place from Brenda, and then got to sample the green chicken enchilada soup 🤯🤤 it was amazing!!! We then found out the had rooms available and a great steak dinner! So we decided to stay, room is huge!! So clean and beautifully decorated. We then had dinner, ribeye steak and chicken fried steak….both were so delicious! Steak was tender and flavorful! And the cheesecake 🏽 We definitely plan on going back!! Thank you for your amazing hospitality Mike and Brenda!!

If you really enjoy history about the Lincoln County War and ask about the hangman’s tree. Stop and visit with the staff. That is just a tip of the history of the place. Plus enjoy the great steaks that is from local ranches. They have a great ghost story too.

My husband always tells me I should open a restaurant, and I tell him it's too much work. Well, tonight we ate at this gem of a place that has great food and tasted just like my cooking. They are extremely friendly too, Chef Daniel even came out and sat with us a bit. He ended up showing us a room they rent out. We were just passing through, and wish we hadn't already made reservations for the night an hour away. The room was amazing. We will definately come this direction and stay here during our next trip.

What an amazing restaurant! The food was delicious, the service excellent and the atmosphere unforgettable. The owners gave us a tour of the historic building and shared some great stories with us. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

With a tour by Casey J. Conlee, General Manager, our Tinnie Silver Dollar experience was complete. My wife and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and stayed in one of the two rooms, easily available on Airbnb. We had a lovely dinner by the fireplace Saturday night, and enjoyed Sunday brunch with the same caring staff. The Tinnie Silver Dollar General Store is a delight, and astonishing to know it was the old stables in the original two buildings. This is by far the most interesting place to stay and enjoy incredible hospitality between Roswell and Ruidoso.

I stopped by for lunch and got the popcorn dusted shrimp, steak fries, and an Ace Hard Apple Cider. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. It would be nice to see more options on the menu, like steak, and it was a bit pricey, but I did leave full. Oh, and the place was beautiful inside and out.

Driving in between Roswell and Ruidoso we stopped at the Silver Dollar, walking in we were quite surprised at the elegant western setting. The building is drenched in intriguing history that the staff was happy to share. Very cool atmosphere. Tables were clothed and set in a traditional way, with fine glasses and plates and silverware. We stopped in for Sunday breakfast, and while there wasn’t a large menu of choices, the choices available were traditional New Mexican breakfast choices.I chose the Silver dollar Omelette, which had three eggs, Steak, and green chili and cheese. It also came with Ranch style potatoes. The potatoes were perfectly fried to a crispy golden bite sized spud, just how I like them. The Omlette was great, the steak came from the ranch of the business owner, so it’s local beef. That’s big for me. The green chili was roasted and included in mixed with the cheese and other misc. peppers. I would have preferred it served smothered in a green chili sauce, or salsa, but that’s just a personal preference that I enjoy with typical New Mexican breakfasts.I had some samples of the biscuits and gravy plate, and pancakes. It’s easy to see that their entire menu is made with fresh ingredients and doesn’t rely on preservatives like you may expect for a restaurant so far from a major town.Prices are very fair for breakfast and the quality of food far surpasses the point of justification, Which is so rare in the post Covid environment.

This place is amazing! It is a place to sit and enjoy, not a quick service diner. Super friendly employees. Beautiful historic grounds to explore. Great food. The restaurant is cool enough that our teenager didn't use her phone the whole time we were there! She loved the place and the huge tree swing out back. This is A Must Do For All Travelers and Locals.

This place was nothing short of spectacular. The artwork everywhere is exquisite. There is so much to see here! The history is very rich dating back well over 100 years. The service was on point and the brunch we ate was exceptional! Stop by here whenever you pass by Fri-Sun during business hours, and, I promise, you won't regret it! I wish I had taken photos to post!Kid-friendliness: It's almost like a museum! Fun for the whole family!

I visited this place 2 months ago and I'm writing the review now because I STILL remember how good that hamburger was. Best hamburger of my life hands down - they raise the cows or something and feed them fancy grass. The place also has the vibe of some mysterious haunted mansion. Anyway, unexpectedly good dinner stop on the road.

We really want Tinnie to be successful and with each new owner management team, we give it a try. Today we tried the hamburger special with some cold beers. Our wait for our food was more than what we would have expected but nothing compared to the gentleman seated next to us. He ordered before us and we were completely finished before his salad arrived. We felt the owner should have comped his meal based on the long wait. she did stop by several times and was very friendly but we left disappointed. the burger was overcooked but we loved the bun. we had dessert and it was nice. it wasn't a perfect experience but we have confidence they will improve and we will be back.

I stopped by when they were closed and cleaning but was greeted by Happy who allowed my family and I to use the restroom. He also showed me his wood work items available in the general store. If his courtesy is any indication of the way the place is run, I am certain it would be a 5 star experience! I wish I had not been just passing through so I could have enjoyed a meal at this fine establishment.

This place has been around awhile and has a lot of history! It's been used for corporate parties and weddings, and is ideal for that! The restaurant re-opened this past summer, so business there has been a little slow except for weekends! However, the food is excellent, though maybe a little pricey for some! My sister and I shared a salad, entree, and dessert for a total of about $40, but we loved the food! The menu is a little limited, but ask the waitress if there are other offerings, which some were available. We had Sunday brunch! There is history here and the staff was very informative about the "ghost" in a dining room photo, the bar from Chicago that had served Al Capone, and the "hanging tree" out back where a rustler was hung twice after two trials, and buried there! The grounds are gorgeous and lots of photo ops available! Would definitely go back!

Such a beautiful historic building. The food was fantastic. Very flavorful entrees and portion sizes were large. The atmosphere and ambience are perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Casey was amazing. And the deserts were wonderful. The blueberry flapjack cake is a must. The room was huge and very comfortable. Great for a weekend getaway.

Outstanding establishment. Very interesting building with nice grounds. We came for thanksgiving (reservations required) and had an excellent experience, despite the staff making a fatal error and losing our reservation. The manager was able to seat us still and offered an enormous discount on our meal, which was a very nice thing to do. The food was incredible. I ate so much that it was uncomfortable! I got to meet with the head chef and he was super nice and fun to talk to. Overall excellent restaurant.
