Very good Carne Asada burritos. For the price you pay for them $5.00, they were a good size and had great flavor. Love the homemade tortillas. The homemade chips and really yummy green salsa was excellent.Bathroom needs attention though. No soap and a little dirty.

Eat here for good authentic Mexican food!Birria tacos (I had mine without cheese) and consumme were perfect. Barbacoa and Carne Asade Tacos, as well as burrito, were so so good. Fresh chips and salsa were superb. I wish I lived in the area and could eat here multiple times a week. For now, I will detour to this town on any road trip through Texas.Service was wonderful and home-y.About $15 per person with tax and tip.

This place is still one of my favorite places to eat in the clovis area. The salsa is absolutely amazing, with the perfect balance of heat and flavor. The prices have gone up just a bit, just as they have everywhere, but it is still well worth the time and gas for a quick drive to Texico. I like that the kitchen is easily viewed (and clean). I usually enjoy a taco plate or a breakfast burrito!

We have been wanting to try this place for months. We happened to be passing through Texaco this afternoon and we were hungry. We walked in and were greeted and found a table. The place was clean and nicely decorated. We got the chilaquiles, children’s plates and I got a chicken torta and al pastor tacos. They brought a complimentary small plate of another meat for the kids to try. Everything was perfect. The salsa was excellent and we bought a quart of it to take home. Prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Ahhh what a great find. We were driving from Colorado to Texas and I was searching for something decent on the way. This place was highly rated and after looking at the photos, thought we should try it. It didn’t disappoint. Authentic, beautiful Mexican joint. The two ladies were super lovely as well. If you’re driving by and looking for a good lunch spot, look no more. Will be stopping again next time we drive by there for sure. Oh and it’s super affordable.Parking: Parking lot, with a big park behind of you have dogs it’s the perfect stop.

Great flavor, best authentic Mexican food I have tried in years. We were on a long trip from Washington and stop at this little restaurant, you can small the goodness since you open your car door, the food does take a little longer because is freshly made, we are a big family so it was a huge order, the nice young men give us a good tip ‘you can order when about 8 minutes(depending on how big is your order maybe add more time) before arrival and it will be faster’ they also carried some Mexican artesian items and candy.

I stopped at Frida’s on my way back from Taos, and I had to tell people about this wonderful restaurant. Although the building is modest, the food is excellent and authentic. An apparent local favorite, if you are ever driving on Hwy 60 through Texico, New Mexico, stop at Frida’s for some delicious Mexican food.

Can mexican cuisine be any more authentic? Honestly I don't think so. I've had the pleasure of eating Mexican dishes in some of the most "revered" Mexican restaurants this side of the border, and a handful on the other side. This is the equivalent of Mexican soul food. If your craving fantastic flavors and down home atmosphere you HAVE TO stop in at Frida's. I got the Quesobirria and my wife go the Menudo. She said it's the best she's ever had and I honestly couldn't disagree. The moment you walk in, it's got an entirely different feel. You feel like you've just walked into your buddies Abuela's house and she's got her other mom friends over to cook for a family get together. The kitchen is literally just inside the door and the aromas are breathtaking. The food is outstanding, the service is just present enough to make sure you don't go without, and the prices are fantastic for today's restaurant rates. 11/10 I recommend, I will be returning, and look forward to trying everything on the menu eventually. If you have the opportunity seriously do not pass it up. My new favorite spot for Mexican, hands down!

Well you have to wait awhile for your food because it’s popular and lots of people were there! (Which is normally a good indication of a good restaurant.). The lady who greeted us and waited on us was very friendly. Food was worth the wait though! Service was excellent!!

Traveled from Amarillo TX just to try Frida's and I Love my green chicken enchiladas . My kids also enjoyed there hamburgers. It was worth the 2 hr drive . I'm sure going back soon .

As we walked in the lovely auntie dropped fresh batch of corn chips made from local tortilla...it portended well. Gordita’s made from scratch, lightly piccante salsa, washed down w/ Topico...muey rico! Hope to stop back by on the way back home!

If you are ever in Texico TX there is a little place called Fridas. Great flavor, great service, authentic as hell; but the tacos were great. So for real check out Fridas.
