The place looks like the Soviet Union in the late 80s. Hour long lines for medicine, shelves not stocked, and trash everywhere. I guess it doesn't matter the ideology, if you let a small number of people control the whole economy, this will happen.

Their hours are short, they are understaffed and because of that they’re usually not very polite. Also, it takes many extra days to get a prescription filled. Going on 10 days right now for the one we are trying to pick up. We were told it was ready four days ago and we drove there and it’s not ready. No apologies.

There's trash all around, there's homeless all around the drive through pharmacy is broken and the line for pharmacy pickup is Halfway out the store. It looks like a 3rd world country!

Literally the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Calling in to confirm prescriptions, the line is never answered. They never have prescriptions ready so after the inevitable 35 minutes in line, you are told you must return at a later time. Literally, this place is the definition of a waste of time.

A lot of people diss this pharmacy, but we have had nothing but positive experiences here. A family member is on a special medication that is difficult to dispense due to federal guidelines about it, and it requires a fair amount more work and paperwork and whatnot, and Alyssa the pharmacist and the others who work there have been absolutely amazing , helping us consistently and patiently over many months. We're super grateful for them.This review is for the Taos NM branch.

Absolutely the worst Walgreens I've ever dealt with. I use Walgreens because of the ease to refill prescription while traveling. I used Walgreens in 7 states and this is by far the poorest in customer service, staffing and hours. Additionally despite what the pre-recorded automated system tells you they don't get back to you when your refill is delayed. I actually dread going to this Walgreens to use the drive through or the pharmacy in store. I gave it 2 stars because most the people you actually deal with in person are polite.

I had brain surgery and had a prescription sent to Walgreens in Taos. I received a text message that my prescription was ready and they were open till 8 pm. When my friend showed up at 7 pm there was a sign that said closed at 6 and not open Saturday or Sunday!You have zero public service skills. Why on earth would you not update your hours on the text messages you send or better yet be open your set hours. How do you expect customers to survive without crucial medication over the entire weekend!

This review is for Vanessa in the Cosmetic Department only. I came in the pick up a prescription and browsed a bit until it was ready. Vanessa started telling me about a special promotion of certain cosmetics, and did a great job in helping me get a few perks for my makeup selection. She even threw in a few free samples for my upcoming vacation. She is a certainly an asset to this store!

Went in to buy some things, needed to use the restroom, restrooms are closed to public. Left without buying anything to go find someplace with a restroom to spend my $. Guess since I don't live here it doesn't matter, but I would not shop here if I did.

My regular pharmacy—wait times are usually minimal and excellent texting program to let me know when prescriptions are ready. Retail area usually well stocked and prices typical. Vaccinations available and process was smooth and well-done.

They now have enough pharmacy staff (not floor staff though) when pharmacy is open. Folks are friendly. I moved my prescriptions from there, however, because the pharmacy nearly always isn't open on weekends. There has been "no pharmacy service on weekends" for the majority of months for at least 2 years now, and I needed more availability of medications.

How can a responsible pharmacy be closed on weekends? Why is this issue not resolved? Apparently Walgreens does not pay enough to pharmacists or it is a less than desirable place toWork. Very inconvenient. Decades long Walgreens customer who will change.

I have always used Walgreen's for purchases in-store and online. I recently ordered 50 photo books that I was assured would be done in three to five days. I called over and over and the photo manager stated that it takes about 2 hours per book to make, plus page printing time. I was willing to wait, but calling to check up on the order every other day, hoping to at least receive half of it, I was told that the photo manager wanted to call me to make sure it was a legitimate order. This was four days after I made the initial order. Two days later, I went into the store to check up on the order, and not a single book could be found. Loose pages were the only items that were found. My supervisor went into the store the next morning to check on the order, not knowing I had already visited the store. He called me stating that they again were wanting to call me to find out if the order was legitimate. Again, the photo dept could not locate any completed books, just the photos. This was a $1200.00 order that was stopped and cancelled immediately after a two week hassle.I was able to order the books in a different Walgreen's , all 50 of them completed within four days.

While this Walgreens has had it rough in years past, I have seen a huge change over the last few months.There is a new store manager, a new pharmacy manager, and all new staff in the front end and in the pharmacy.Wait times in the pharmacy are virtually nothing compared to what they used to be. They answer phones right away now, they are friendly and helpful in all the right ways.Truly a 180 degree turnaround for this store, and I’m happy to be able to enjoy going here once again!

Go here for my prescriptions, because they Do have a drive through.There is always a line at pharmacy drive through & 4-5 employees behind counter.I went inside today due to car line.No customers in line but me, went to express pick up window.Every employee looked at me with out greeting me, two employees walked by window w/o greeting than the 3rd employee asked me if I needed help as he started to walk by..I felt Lost!!.🤯 I had to check sign on window to make sure I was waiting at express pick up!Customer service needs some serious help

Went in for shingles vaccine. Asked about price and was told it was $198. I asked if this was for both doses and was told yes. When I went back for the second dose they wanted another $198. I explained that I had asked before the first shot. The pharmacy said there was nothing they could do. The manager said there was nothing he could do. Said they were not responsible for the actions of their employees

Pharmacy is slower than any other pharmacy I've ever been too. We waited a hour and a half in the drive through line.There was constantly a line as long as the area could fit and at least 10 cars left their place in line. The lady in front of us spent as much time as we did waiting in line and when she got to the window she waited for at least 15 minutes just to leave without dropping anything off or picking anything up. My girlfriend went inside to see what the hold up was and they had a line of 3 people. All of which they helped before even looking at the drive through window. Being that we are in the middle of a world wide pandemic drive through should be their priority. They shouldput care into having a speedy process.

Having faced difficulties with another pharmacy in Taos, we transferred our prescriptions to Walgreens. We could not be more pleased.The customer service surpassed that of the former pharmacy and we didn't have to feel as though the pharmacist was doing us a favor by filling our prescriptions.Customer was outstanding and our prescriptions were ready in an hour. There was no line, no waits and everything ran like clockwork. Walgreens in Taos is now our pharmacy of choice.

Asked to transfer an existing order from another Walgreens and was told it would take "3 or 4 days" before I could pick it up. I have actually sat at a Walgreens to do the exact transfer which took minutes. Hold times for the Taos Walgreens is averaging 15 minutes regardless of time of day.Either severely under staffed or under managed.

Echoing the same message as previous reviewers... slow, incompetent, poor communication, etc. Prescription wasn't ready, said "we will have it in 15 min". Over an hour passed and still not ready. I'm writing this review as I continue to wait. I work in the Operations Management profession and the way this store is run is pathetic. The general manager should be fired immediately. They just don't care... simple as that. How Walgreens corporate can continue to let this store operate in it's present state is beyond me... it just continues to drag their otherwise good name/brand through the mud.

If I could I would give this place 0 stars. This Walgreens is the shame of all Walgreens because the employees here are very incompetent. I have always chose to go to a Walgreens over any other Pharmacy all my life until I moved to this town. And to top it off, they're the only Walgreens here considering that is a small town. I have decided to take my business to the next best thing which is the Smiths pharmacy where they provide a great service each time even though I have to get out of my car, I rather do that than deal with this Walgreens.

Okay for one they never Answer the phone. Takes at least 2 hours if not more to fill your prescriptions. If you don't mind waiting ok. But if you are driving or from out of town go to Albertsons. Slowest pharmacy I have been to. Staff can be rude and ignore you. I waited at the drive thru window for exactly 20 minutes before the girl came over. Rude!

An example of a failing business. I really do not recommend this pharmacy. Their staff is so incompetent and slow.I was visiting for the weekend in Taos and I needed some meds. They said to come back at 4 pm. When we went back, we found out that the medication will not be ready till Monday.I wasted time dropping off and waiting for an answer. the lines are very long in side the store and in the drive through.Please have all your meds ready prior to your trip to Taos.

You are kept waiting FOREVER!!!! Song will put you to sleep. Finally after the long wait!! Was told I'd get a call the next day for my sons needed vaccination. Never got a call I had to call them, then was told They didn't have it. Granted this is extremely important! My son could get very sick without it, but that's not their concern. It's not like they are in the business selling medications! Oh wait! It's a pharmacy!! (Sarcasm)
