Happy to support this local business and greatful it exists. You may pay some extra overhead however you won't be waiting for a package to be delivered and you will be helping the local economy and not a big box corporation. The shop owner has a dog that barks however that is what dogs do and it does not bite.

This is a great little independent art supply store. Run be a friendly and knowledgeable couple, they have a wide array of quality paint and drawing supplies for their small size. Fun to visit, browse, and buy!

Really great shop run by great people. They sell handbound sketchbooks and a'lot of odd things you can't find anywhere else. But their killer app is painting supplies. With premium brushes. And various brands of high pigment paints. Also super large canvases on hand if you wanna make something huge!

This place is awesome! The only bona fide art supplier in Taos, I go here for cold press Arches paper regularly. The owner is really friendly and they have a great selection of watercolor supplies.

Smallish, but if you learn what they have in stock you will be happy. Have them order other stuff. Easy parking.

Maybe I just came at a weird time, but they weren't very friendly at all. No one asked if I needed help and no eye contact. It's a small little shop but they'd probably have what you need if you're a painter.
