I've been by twice, Monday afternoon Wednesday Morning. The store is not open. No sign indicating why. I see a post from last week that it was closed. I called Doller Tree Customer Care because I have items shipped to store and can't get them. My call was dropped 5 times to them, twice while speaking to a person. The third person called the store and said that he would continue to try to contact the store and get back to me. I'm not holding my breath.

Instead of complaining about the cashier being rude, stop coming in. Oh by the way she was off that day. Also all your reviews everywhere you go is racist and uncalled for.. Taos does have good therapist to help you, go find one

Remember the days when going to the $ store was so much fun? You could walk in with $20 and be so excited about the items you would be able to purchase hang out for an hour talking to other patrons exchanging small talk about how wonderful this place is?Ok so it's not just me with false memories?Well now the only memories I have are the employees names that had to double check on their name tags because I couldn't believe how rude the cashiers were when at the register paying $5 for something that only a few months back , could be purchased for a $1.Why else would you go shopping there anymore since the only skills new employees are apparently trainedto do is ask you if you need your receipt "Yes I need my receipt because I need proof when I complain to anyone who will listen to how unbelievable rude you are"The only place I know that puts a sign on their conveyor register that reads " Place your items to front so cashier can reach them"Huh? For real?

I'm so glad Taos has a Dollar Tree! I think this one needs to hire more workers though because the shelves here are often empty and things need to be unpacked. But I guess when prices are so low, we can't really expect the store to be pretty too.UPDATE, September 2023: The store seems less chaotic now. I enjoyed shopping here. I also like that the outside of the store looks like an adobe house and fits in with the architecture of Taos.

Not happy with the woman who seemed to be the manager. A small, thin Caucasian woman. As I was paying for my purchase at the register she came up and asked the cashier if "that man had left the store"? Then she got on the intercoms system and announced that if you didn't see something on the shelf they didn't have it and not to ask and bother the stockers. I then assumed the man she was talking about was my husband because he had just asked her if they carried a product we were looking for. Very rude and crude behavior.

It's nice now that they have their shelves, stocked and the extra more than $1.25 section. I heard lots of consumers complaining about the $0.25 increase, which is crazy. Those workers work hard because very few people want to work after the pandemic. Be grateful that you only have to spend $1.25. Go complaining about the increase at the gas station, but don't. But seriously it could always be worse. Be grateful.

Zero stars!! Horrible. The clerk didnt even acknowledge my presence. No greeting no thank you, no acknowledgement what so ever. When I walked out the customer in front of me said what horrible service!! I agreed. I spent close to $60.00 at a Dollar Tree! Please train your staff. The clerk was a young, tall heavy set man.

Stopped in this dollar tree and was approached by a young kid -store associate who rudely told me I needed a mask to be in the store. I have absolutely no problem with that, after just being in Walmart and Albertsons where it wasn't required, Ididnt know it was a prerequisite for this store. With a handful of things I was asked to leave....when I asked if they had a mask to provide I was told no. Poor customer service....if this is a managements decision than they need a better plan of action.

Worst customer service. Guy who answers the phone is the rudest associate I have ever spoken with. I called to see if they had an item in stock because I live 1 1/2 hours away. He wouldn’t even allow me to speak He told me he wouldn’t check for me and hung up. I had to call another store where their associates dis check for me even if they were busy. This store is the worst one in my opinion and I will not give them my business. I would rather drive to Albuquerque.

Always find more than I went there for. Unlike some other so-called Dollar stores, everything here really is $1. Store is reasonably clean & tidy (not that easy in snowy winter, muddy spring), not over-crowded shelf rows, adequate staff, enough parking, good location. Getting so I start my weekly shopping trip here for the basic items, then off to other places for more expensive items.

Sometimes the store won't open until hours after it's supposed to. My boyfriend goes into town and then had to wait despite it being already 9. Open on time or hire better people.

This place leaves so much to be desired. Unfortunately, the store is chronically understaffed which leads to unreliable hours and an inability to serve the community. This store is regularly closed when the posted hours say they are open.Currently, there is a line of six customers waiting to get in and the staff came out eating chips to tell everyone they aren’t opening until noon today.

The store has gone downhill since Christian is not managing the olace anymore. Young staff violating mask mandate with masks below her chin, playing LOUD music on her phone. They sell earphones there, why not use them? I walked out tonight, didn't buy a thing.

I think the customer service at doller tree in Taos is the worst the manager has a bad attitude and isn't friendly at all and also allows a few of the employees there to.do the same ..The bathrooms are always out of order because there broken. It's a shame the building is new and the restrooms are always like that.

I save at least 2 dollars a week on 7 day candles alone. Dollar tree is 1, smiths is 1.49, Sids 1.89....I love saving money.
