Cute little basic feed store. Friendly people. Our products were a little pricey compared to big chain stores, but very good quality products. We bought chicken food and scratch. The scratch was a much better product than chain stores. The feed was pretty muck the same. I shop in Taos from Colorado. I will definitely come back.

I own a business in taos and if I leave bad review it is because the business repeatedly screws up with an I don’t care attitude . Today was the worst experience. Usually it’s just careless attitude and you just overlook it. But today In rush hour traffic on a Friday with horrific construction in front I asked them to give me the item I purchased day before that I did not get. I reminded the guy of our word for word conversation. This was the same guy who sold it to me and this same guy pulled the items I bought up in the system and saw I had purchased it with two other items and refused to credit or replace and treated me like I was scamming him and I asked him what would you like to do and I can’t believe he would loose a customer over a little ten dollar bag of treats . Who would go thru the hassle of construction Friday traffic to scam a ten dollar bag? Ridiculous. And I told him I’m a local business owner and so he just shrugged his shoulders and I left thinking worst taos customer service ever. Tom at taos tack and Annamarie at unleashed give outstanding service thanking you for your business which this miserable store never does. It is always a pleasure to shop there at Tom’s taos tack and Annemarie’s unleashed. Blue sky forever lost my business and I marvel how do they stay in business with such bad attitudes.

I love small town shops and supporting local businesses but local business can support their customers by staying open when their hours state and being open for business instead of closing promptly at 5:00 each day. The 9-5 crew doesn't need to shop at this store apparently

Bought baby chicks this year with Blue feed, absolutely lovely birds, well kept. Staff was excellent and friendly. Was able to get a small water dish also!

I have never in my life written a negative review, however the owner of this pet store interacted with me in such a rude manner I have been unable to enter the store again.The merchandise is good, however, in good conscience I cannot support this store. If you choose to check it out, my hope is that you will have a much more pleasant interface with the owner than I did. All of the other employees (when I used to shop there over a year ago) are helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable.

Great store with excellent customer service, but the price mark up is outrageous. I only buy things here if I can't wait for an online delivery. Last item was a 100% markup in price. I don't understand why businesses in Taos insist on such high markups. I don't mind paying an extra 15-20%, I want to support the local vendors, but 100%? It feels like they are screwing their neighbors, the locals. I'll wait for a delivery.

When i walked in, one of the 3 people behind the counter was not wearing a mask. He barely had it put on by the time i got to the counter, then proceeded to kick me out of his store because I was not wearing one. He didnt care about my very legitmate reason that I cannot (probably the same reason he was not wearing his when I walked in). Even If you believe in a cheap, ill fitting mask's ability to filter viruses, you surely also must realize the airborne particles from his unmasked breath would still be in the air as a customer walked up.Hypocritical, and rude about it. They seem to be trying to filter their customer base down to those who only adhere to certain ideologies. I found another feed store in town with no such 'problems' and I suggest you seek them out instead of supporting this place.

Local business that needs our business to compete with Corporate-Mart down the road. Conveniently located in the heart of the town. They sell a good brand of cat food that helps keep the cats healthy and silky. They are friendly and will help you load the heavy things into your vehicle.

This review is for the dog wash. We took my dog in for a bath because I had seen that they had a dog wash onsite. I asked the price, which was $20. Already more expensive than nicer dog washes I had been to, but OK. My dog needed a bath. We go in, and there is one towel laid out for us. Secondly, the shampoo is diluted in a big pitcher, so you get to pour foamy water over your dog for shampoo. Honestly, I could have dealt with this. I quickly washed my dog so I could get out of there. The kicker was when we turned on the blow dryer. White fur (my dog is black, this was from a previous user) went EVERYWHERE. I mean, neither my husband nor myself could open our eyes because it was like a tornado of dog hair FILLING the room. We couldn't dry my dog, so we had to take her and leave after using the wash for about 6 minutes. It was 30 degrees outside. I plucked hair out of her eyes from the previous users. When we left, one of the associates asked how it was. I told him it was dirty and hadn't been cleaned from the previous user. I told him it was unacceptable and that we had to leave because I honestly couldn't use the room the way it was. I heard him in the back turning the blower on, probably realizing the problem. He didn't offer to not charge us or even give us a discount, which I would have accepted. So, we paid $20 plus tax for a dirty, hairy room. Keep in mind, I've used plenty of dog washes and this isn't normal. Every wash I have used has multiple pump shampoos, plenty of towels, and are spotless. I took my dog to a local groomer who finished the job for free because she felt so bad. Be right back, I need to go rinse the dust and dog hair of thousands of dogs past out of my eyeballs.

This place was hostile when it comes to masks. They don't have enough inventory to make it worth the abuse.To the owner's response:It's not about if I "agree to mask wearing" it's about how you treat people who come into your store. I'm a guest in your store not your slave that you can verbally abuse. You were rude to several people in your store, myself included. You should apologize for that.

I like the friendly customer service we've received at this store. The owners go out of their way to help make sure the customer has what they need. It is not a 'hard sell' feeling, nor a 'left to your own to figure things out' feeling. Just right for Taos County folks!

The owner or manager woman does not care about customer service. She is never very friendly when I come in. I have to buy crickets for my son’s gecko every couple of weeks and she is never very nice. Also I took home the crickets and a few days later, over a dozen had died. Next time I went in to buy more I told her and she did not care in the least. I was a little annoyed but bought more. I drove from the store to my house (about 10 mins) and when I got home to put them in their container, half of them were dead. I called immediately to let her know and all she could say was I don’t know why and I could drive all the way back to show her. I am so frustrated because this is the only place in Taos I can buy crickets. I don’t want to waste any more of my money there so I guess I’ll have to figure out a solution. So much for shopping local...

I've been going here since I moved too Taos. They sell the high quality dog food I like to buy and the customer service is high quality too. They say hi to my dog whenever I bring her in and they also usually have a dog and cat inside which is cool. This is my go to place for dog food, dog toys, and dog advise.
