They pay attention to her happiness and to the style I am looking for. I just found out they do day-care and boarding as well. I love the facility and everyone that works there is super friendly. Avalyn gave my young dog his first haircut today. She was so absolutely incredible. He spent the afternoon at her shop playing with the other dogs while he got comfortable with the environment. She then gave him the cutest cut - he was so happy when I came to get him. This is a wonderful place to get your dog groomed!

I took my cat here for the first time, and Avalyn let me stay with my cat to calm him down. There is no other place in town that lets you stay with your fur baby. I was so happy about that. My boy is feeling as good as new and cuddling multiple times a day. The job was definitely done, but it was a little pricey. Overall though, it's good work

Totally recommend taking your furbaby to Avalyns for grooming. She was so accommodating to my schedule and when dropping off my dog, she was so friendly and her space was very inviting and comfortable for the dogs while they wait to get groomed. My dog not only looked amazing when I picked her up, she was also worn out from getting to play with the other dogs. Big win!

We took in a long-haired stray cat recently, he was severely matted with balding spots from the hair twisting up so much, which I’m sure was painful for him. I called Avalyn and she got us in the very next day, which normally is her day off, she shaved off the mats and I can tell he feels so much better. You can tell she loves animals, and she was gentle but quick with our poor guy. Thank you so much!

Cyril and her assistant helped me with an urgent cat grooming situation on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Cyril accomodated us by having me come after hours. She and her asisstant stayed late to be sure my boy got a full bath as well as a full shave down. He has special needs, so this was really needed. I am so incredibly appreciative for their hard work because there are many groomers do not want to work on cats. Not only were they amazing, but the shop was really clean. I highly recommend Avalyn's Paw Spa.

Avalyn gave my dog Bear a great spring cut and bath. She trimmed his nails and checked for thorns. He smells good and looks fresh. She was friendly and great with dogs.

Amazing place! I had my dog groomed here while I went and visited the Taos Pueblo. He came back so clean and happy! I love the energy and atmosphere here, it's a free roam, cage free experience and Max got to play with all the other dogs all day. Such a great place to leave your dog for a few hours.

This might be the best groomer who has ever worked with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Ramona! The staff are friendly and kind and the atmosphere is safe and inviting. The dogs can roam around, interact and play with toys which made for a fun rather stressful experience for our pup. Ramona is happy and looks adorable. We will definitely be coming back.

Always a good grooming experience. She was recommended to me for a long time and I finally went. Happy to find her, she does a wonderful job with my goldendoodle. I usually have a couple special requests like leaving his head longer on top, he always looks perfect. It’s convenient, i can pay her using Venmo. I can drop him off and go back home and work and she calls when he’s almost ready so I can be back in time to get him. When I drop him off, he’s nervous but when I pick up, he’s calm and fine. The dogs get to play with each other in a big open area, assuming if you want that. My dog seems to love her. He comes home really tired and really cute.

I rescue the puppy and it had a bunch of long hair and mats. As soon as I got him I called and they got him in right away. Cleaned him up and he's a happier dog now thanks to their quick response and squeezing me in towards the end of the day

Beyond grateful for Cyril (and her staff) for helping me rescue six feral kittens. On top of working long hours in the Paw Studeo, Cyril essentially has a second job rescuing animals. Due to Cyrils graciousness and ability to act steadfast, the kittens now have a caring home. The Taos Animal Shelter is severely overpopulated, therefore having people in the community who care, and are willing to help solve the feral animal/cat issue is huge. I couldn’t recommend Cyril and her staff more to care for your furry family & friends.

We have used Avalyn's Paw Spa for years. Cyril and her staff have always taken good care of my family. We have a new dog who is a recent rescue. We were really worried about how she'd do with that much social interaction. Cyril made special arrangements to keep our new pup safe while our dogs were being groomed. The short version is that we could not have been happier. Both dogs came back looking beautiful and smelling great. Our rescue did great with the other dogs there and Sam treated her like a queen.I am so happy that we have this service in Taos. I'd give six stars if it was an option.

Our Standard Poodle needed a summer cut while we were traveling through Taos. He sometimes gets nervous when dropped off at a new groomer but Avalyn's shop had a big open area and two big bins of toys so he was having a great time playing and didn't even realize he was at the groomer! Avalyn is so nice and she gave us a list of things to see and eat while in Taos since we were in from out of town. Our dog's summer cut was perfect - nice and short and exactly what we wanted!

Best grooming service around! Our Sydney Roo doesn’t love the groomers and won’t let us clip her nails at home. The staff take wonderful care of her and make sure her nails are trimmed and her coat is healthy! Sydney is always very happy at Avalon’s Paw Spa and leaves with a big smile on her face. We having been going to Avalyns for a while now and will continue to do so!

I called Avalyn's Paw Spa after doing a Google search. My Bully pup split his nail, and the quick was poking out the bottom, obviously causing him pain, as he was licking it constantly and limping. Even though it was Saturday and the shop was closed, Syril told me to bring my pup in for some triage on his wounded paw, since I was too nervous to attempt clipping it myself. She has a soothing demeanor, and is as skilled as anyone I've seen, remedying the situation in minutes. I was so grateful and relieved, i would've gladly paid extra for the last minute visit, but she refused my money telling me she was happy to help after hearing my desperation. Avalyn's Paw Spa has my business for future pet needs, and I recommend any concerned pet owner bring their fur-babies to Syril, who obviously cares. She also adopts kitties and is looking to find good homes for them, FYI.

Had the best grooming experience of my dog’s life here (4 year old labradoodle). Cyril was incredible. She had clear guidelines and was very communicative and honest. Because my dog had some bad experiences as a puppy, he’s not an easy dog to groom and I told Cyril this from the start. She worked with my dog to find a way to comfort him while giving him a perfect cut. I’m very grateful and give her and her team the highest recommendation!

Avalyn's Paw Spa is my go-to groomer in Taos! I've taken my dog multiple times so far and his haircuts always look great! Plus he smells great for over a week after the baths! The environment at Avalyn's is wonderful - the dogs are allowed to roam around the room and they are very at ease unlike other groomers where they are crated most of the day. Cyril and her team are professional and friendly. Everyone there knows what they are doing. This is the best groomer I've used anywhere (including outside of Taos).

My wife and I were passing through Taos and needed to get our little dog groomed. We stopped by Avalyn’s Paw Spa as a walk in and they were able to groom our dog that day! This was also the best cut our little dog has ever gotten! She looks soo cute!Cyril was great and did everything that we asked for! Having a wonderful groomer gives us one more reason to visit Taos!
