Fantastic resort and great experience. I've been to most Colorado resorts, but first time in NM. Not sure what I expected, but it definitely didn't disappoint. Some in our group were first time skiers and snowboarders, and they had a blast.

What a great place for Spring Break!! Lines were short. Ski school was fantastic! 1 day lift tickets were $195 but a 2 day ski school package which includes 10 hours of instructions, lift tickets and rentals was only $330 or $165/day...less than a 1 day lift ticket. You can add a third day of lessons for another $65/day.The snow dumped all day long! The conditions were great although visibility was low but still 200-300ft.I hadn't been here since the 1990's but we'll be back soon!!

Incredible skiing experience here. Went on a Sunday in January and was floored by how empty it was. I had whole blue runs to myself, just a joy. The terrain is an excellent mix too, hope to come back for a good long week here and really get to know it.

The runs aren't labeled the best, I went down a black diamond and then realized the only way to get down the rest of the mountain were double black diamond death traps with lots of trees, rocks, and cliffs. I tumbled 300 feet down the mountain and hit my leg on a tree but the ski rescue people were good! The blues and greens on this mountain are already really steep so just stick to those unless you are SERIOUSLY an expert. And look at the trail map before going down any runs higher than a blue so you know exactly where there going!!

We skied Taos late March 2023 using Ikon passes. We got lucky that spots opened up while we were driving there since reservations are required. They just had a snowstorm and it was like we were in a Bob Ross painting. It was our first time visiting New Mexico and I was blown away. I think about this place daily and wish I could go back! A+++++

Thoroughly enjoyed skiing here. Not too crowded and enough ski runs for a few days.

Awesome experience. The runs were all great and a ton of lifts made for short wait times. I'm gonna stay at the resorts next time they looked amazing.

Taos is an incredible and cool ski resort. High, and steep, terrain, beautiful vistas and a super chill and incredibly friendly vibe. If you consider yourself an experienced skier or boarder, and you haven't been there yet, go check it out. You won't regret it.

World class terrain, great on-mountain food options, and friendly staff make this an undeniably special place

Beautiful location in the mountains to visit and see the autumn colors. Walk around. Sit and have a hot beverage and admire nature. And imagine how magical it would be in winter snow.

Taos Ski Valley is definitely the nicest ski area in New Mexico, it is also by far the most challenging. We visited in the summer and did a bunch of hiking, the on mountain trails are nice, the area in general is beautiful. We took lift 4 to the peak then hiked all the way back to lift 1 which is where the main village is at. The lift ride to the top cost $24 but the experience was well worth it! The terrain in general here is very hilly so this is a real challenging area to run if that's your thing. In any event we'd definitely love to come back one day during winter time.

Incredible views from every vantage point whether on the lift, at the base or on the slope! Lots of powder and so many tall trees to weave through if you dare. We dared not b/c the steep slopes were challenge enough. Lots of signage, helpful staff (that go above and beyond, if needed) and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Amazing mountain. Slopes are wide and has enough space for varying skiing levels. Kachina peak runs are very satisfying to ski (although quite challenging). There are multiple restaurants in the mountain which makes a multi-day trip more dynamic. If you’re flexible and plan ahead, there are options for very affordable lift tickets.

As good as a ski resort as any in NM, but definitely not a standout, considering its substantially more expensive as any of them. Website claims a unique more personal ski experience but I can't see how they could justify it. I prefer Angel Fire, or Santa Fe personally, easier to get to and just as many places to explore for a lot less

This is probably the best place to ski in the area. We also tried Angel Fire in the prior year and it was good, but Taos has a nicer and more convenient base area and better variety of trails/slopes. The only reason I'm putting 4 stars is it surprisingly expensive (especially if buying passes on the same day and during weekends and also because many trails and lifts were still closed during the time we skied (Dec-19th to Dec-23rd). The hole part of the mountain starting from the Honeysuckle was not operating which was not only disappointed but made us going downhill using Bambi (which is a blue trail) and we were not ready for that!

Great mountain. Fun and friendly staff. Seemingly less commercial than other resorts, but it's an expensive recreational activity, isn't it?

A welcome relief from the heat of the valley. Just beautiful. We were able to eat our food we purchased from the brewery on a picnic table right next to this gorgeous little stream amongst the Aspens. The food was some of the best we've had! 😍

Beautiful place to go hiking during the summer. We rode Lift 4 to the top looked around and took in the splendor. We hike down, and found a beautiful waterfall along the way down. We hung out at the village and ate at bumps burritos. Very good burrito, good value for the money.

Came all the way from south Texas and was not disappointed. The weather was perfect for skiing and there's something to do for anyone at any age. The kids did ski school and the adults could ski all day. There's shopping and food options.

Used to love Taos, it was a local favorite and the mountain is indeed nice terrain for NM. But the new owner must think Taos is Vail as he has more than doubled the prices over the past few years. You might as well ski elsewhere... new business model targets the rich. Family of four now costs 700 dollars a day! Let that sink in. That's higher prices than Disney. Sad.

I consider myself an intermediate skier; not a hot-dogger, but not a beginner. My home ski resort is Purgatory in SW Colorado, where I enjoy my happy little blues and greens. Taos Ski Valley has a much different idea about what constitutes a green run! They made me feel like I had completely forgotten how to ski. Plus the trails were not groomed either of the days we skied there. The snowboarders had carved all of the slopes into moguls which I was not used to.If you are a GOOD skier who loves moguls and powder (and lots of people, even on weekdays), then this is the place for you!

It's so beautiful in this alpine resort. We came to visit in August, so it was warm and sunny with plenty of hiking. They even have a lift to the top for a moderate fee. There is plenty to do and see.

My husband and I had the time of our lives at Taos last weekend. The resort is well cared for, the food was top-notch, and the staff was lovely. We will definitely be back next season.

We ride a lot is places and even with poor Spring snow conditions Taos snuck it's way into my top ski resorts almost instantly. The vibes here are more true to ski/snowboard culture. Lift lines were short and all the staff seemed genuinely happy to interact with people. Lots of dining, drink, and shopping options for a smaller resort. We'll definitely be back!!

This ski resort is awesome! They have an RV parking lot at the bottom of the hill so you can literally stay winter or summer for 7 days to enjoy the hiking, biking, and slopes. Very tiny little store village but everything you could need :).
