After leaving a scary situation at a hotel in one of the bigger cities up the road and a long day of driving, we found ourselves in the middle of a snowstorm and terrible driving conditions on I-25. It was such a relief to find this motel. The owner was very nice and welcoming even though we showed up at 4:30 in the morning. The room was very clean and comfortable it had all of the same comforts you would find in an expensive hotel room and more.

Not sure how I got so lucky to find the Broken Arrow on a cross country trip but it was such a great stay. Is it fancy? No. Are there extras like a pool or exercise rooms? No. Would I stay again if I were anywhere remotely nearby? In a heartbeat! What else do you really need but a clean, comfortable, quiet room after a long drive... And the owner (Tony) is probably the friendliest guy you'll meet. With so many other reviews mentioning him by name that also says something about the place.I'd pick the Broken Arrow over any motel I've ever stayed at.

We had a most wonderful stay at the Broken Arrow in October 2023. It looks like a humble place from the outside, but the room we stayed in had been beautifully renovated. Immaculate wood or laminate flooring, new mattress and quilted bedding, fresh paint, new bathroom fixtures, coffeemaker, fridge, microwave. The heat/air conditioner unit was quiet and effective. They even left mints and cold beverages for us! Delightful accommodations, highly recommended.

My girls and I had car troubles outside of springer. We called later in the day and they had a room for us. They recommended someone to work on our vehicle. They were so kind and accommodating. They even let us stay long enough the next day to have our car repaired on site. The rooms are adorable, super duper clean and so comfy. I highly recommend.

So, my boyfriend and I stayed here about a year ago and I could have sworn I left a review, but I’m not seeing it, which is terrible because we had the best experience two people could have on a Christmas road trip! We were passing through to Santa Fe Christmas night and needed a place to stay. This place was perfectly charming, decorated with lights on the banisters, the room was cozy, well kept. The owners were so wonderful! Amazing hosts that went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and relaxing! It is a place we will definitely make sure we stay at the next time we are that direction!

It was way overpriced, they have bed bugs, there were no chairs to sit down. If you wanted to watch TV you had to sit on the bed which was hard as a rock. I would never stay there again under any circumstance. I cannot even understand why they got a five-star rating. From other reviews I've read they charged me considerably more than they charge other people. I think they took advantage because there was nowhere else to stay so they could charge whatever they wanted. Horrible motel.

This is a very clean motel and we felt very comfortable here. We felt very safe too. I am so impressed with the hospitality from the hotel manager (owner) Tony. He has treated us like his own family during our stay. We will be back and I will tell all of my friends about The Broken Arrow! Awesome job Tony!!

Amazing place! We drove for 15 hours and needed a place to shut our eyes for a few hours. The Broken Arrow Motel was there for us at 3am. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. They got us checked in quickly and we were asleep in a warm, comfortable bed within minutes of arriving.The room was adorable with had hardwood floors, appearing to have been remodeled recently and was extremely clean! They even had nice quality toiletries which was helpful so we didn’t have to lug our suitcases in. They even had a nice TV for the kids to watch cartoons in the morning while we got ready.I was hesitant about staying at a random small motel of the freeway but this place was nothing like I had envisioned and exceeded our expectations. We left the next morning refreshed for our remaining drive home. We highly recommend this place as your midway stop!

Needed last minute stay. Outside was very nice looking. Inside even better. Nobody around so called number and tony was at other motel. He said door was open to number three, go in and he would be right over. Place is spotless, feels brand new. All the little details. Even high quality toilet paper. Well….. i made a stupid mistake and flooded bathroom. Called tony. He was upset but understanding and polite. We cleaned up mess and dried out as much as possible. This place, tony, is a must stop if you need a friendly super clean place to stay. One of the best places i have ever stayed. Very, very sorry about my accident.

Woooow! This place is awesome and way better than so many big chain motels/Hotels!! It might be small, but its VERY CLEAN, has personal touches, the bed is AMAZING! the staff is wonderful, they provide coffee AND TEA in the rooms! There is A fridge, nice coffee maker, microwave. The bathroom towels are fluffy and the showers very nice! Thank you for A wonderful stay BROKEN ARROW! 😊

This quaint little motel is more than meets the eye. It's clean, comfortable, and convenient. The hosts are friendly and helpful.Only problems: the AC doesn't work very well, and the bathroom windows are clear, not frosted, but they have good curtains over them.Highly recommended.I saw no signs of bed bugs.

I was skeptical about how high this motel was rated; we stayed here on a weekend trip from Denver to Santa Fe and it was lovely. The motel was decorated for Valentines and the rooms are spotless and brand new. They placed two sugar cookies and candy in the room. The owners are very nice. Go next door for a hearty NM breakfast. Highly recommend and a fun, local stay during an adventurous road trip!

I was absolutely blown away by this gem of a motel! The owner was so incredibly accommodating and the prices were extremely reasonable for the adorable rooms filled with everything you would need (even makeup wipes, cookies & sweets, and plenty of wall outlets)! The beds were very comfortable and Springer is a friendly and wonderful stop- plus you’re in for a beautiful drive the next morning to your destination! Thank you so much <3

I am extremely picky when it comes to hotel cleanliness! So, I was a little skeptical when my only option was a tiny motel in the middle of nowhere. All of the "chain" hotels were booked up so I was forced to take my chance with Broken Arrow Motel. This family run motel was beyond clean and comfortable! Other motels/hotels should take note from these folks on how to run their place. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay here again!!

I spent a beautiful weekend at this nice motel! This is an extremely charming, family owned and operated place to rest in Springer, NM. I travel quite a bit all over the USA & this was one of the very best, if not the best place in a small town I've ever stayed at. The managers are extremely kind & accommodating. When we got to our room I was very surprised to find a very large, flat screen TV with Dish network & good wifi. The floors are very nice real or real looking wood. The beds were super cozy yet firm with lots of warm blankets. I was happy to find 3 nice pillows on each bed. There is a very cold mini fridge with freezer, coffee maker, microwave & a super sweet assortment of teas, mints & delicious cookies! The shower/tub is big & clean! The shower & toilet are in a separate room with a heater/fan which is very nice. Even the shampoos, lotions & soaps are very high quality! The rooms aren't huge, but they're really comfortable & well designed. I have been told that the sister motel to Broken Arrow, The Oasis just a couple blocks away is just as nice.What I loved most about the Broken Arrow is how very, very safe I felt, how super clean the room was & how kind the managment is. I'd definitely recommend this motel to anyone including my mother 😄

We stayed here this weekend while we did a pronghorn hunt. The accommodations were amazing. The room was so clean and felt brand new. You can tell they worked hard to make it nice, even down to the details. They had little chocolates for us. The owners were very sweet and helpful. HIGHLY recommend!

I found myself stuck in Springer due to weather recently and stayed here; even given the circumstances, it was a lovely stay. The rooms are tasteful and clean, and the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly helpful and considerate. I only live two hours away so it is unlikely I’ll need to stay there again, but I would absolutely recommend it to anyone else.

Great location... first timer in a roadside motel and for $89 it was definitely worth it! Gentleman at the front desk was very nice as well! In room mini fridge, microwave and 2 cup coffee pot plus great shower pressure. Would definitely stay again if traveling through New Mexico.
