This is possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in. There looked to be mold growing on the shower liner and bathtub. A full knob was missing for the faucet. Broken tiles in the bathroom. Things were dingy and looked dirty. The beds seemed pretty clean but I was nervous. We didn't have any bed bugs. Thank goodness!! I worried about it though. Vending machines were out of order and empty. The waffle batter was completely out when we went to breakfast just after 7am and it is supposed to be until 9am. Barely had a couple Muffins, yogurt, simple bread for toast, 1 type of oatmeal pack, 2 cereals, milk, orange juice, coffee. It was better than nothing but pretty sad. The a/c didn't work very well. It was so hot in our room even when it wasn't hot outside. We could hear the person in the room over snoring and making noise in the middle of the night. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough. It seemed like they could have done a thorough cleaning job and made a couple small upgrades and I wouldn't have been so uncomfortable there. Too expensive for what it is. They were close to a really nice Walmart that was convenient.

Really wish I’d read the reviews. Cigarette burns on the sheets and hairs in the bathroom should’ve clued me in to ask for a refund and split. Incredibly itchy bites in the telltale pattern of bed bugs showed up on me after my stay. There’s no reason to stay here. If you must, check the room thoroughly for bed bugs before you unpack. And of course there is no pool or hot tub.

No bed bugs, thank god. But blood on bathroom walls (yikes!) weird smells, lots of noise. My singular request was a “quiet room” as I’m traveling for business & need to conduct work. Couldn’t be in a noisier spot of the hotel. Right across the hall from a screaming clothes dryer, neighbor’s bass booming, crying babies, yelling guests. There are no cars in the parking lot at all, how are there so many people in the rooms right around me?Dirty. Noisy. Just sleep in your car & save your money.

No bed bugs. Coffee maker pours out the side not through drip hole. Even with resetting the breaker on the plug, hair dryer did not work. Whenever neighboring room Occupants slammed their door, the walls shook. Carpet and duvets reeked of cigarette smoke and nicotine. Towel rack in bathroom comes right off the wall. Mattresses are overused. It was like sinking into a waterbed that was only half filled. Was charged $70+ ad says $51. Continental breakfast was make you own waffles, but no fruit, eggs, or meat. I will never stay there again.

The department of health needs to inspect and close this location. Our room had a half eaten rotten apple sitting on the air conditioner, there was what looked like vomit in the stairwell, a clump of hair coming out of the back of the hair dryer, shower had an assortment of hairs on wall and basin, bed cover with cigarette holes and some sort of fluid staining it, brown liquid on floor/ walls of bathroom, power outlet in room with no cover and exposed electrical wires, bed felt like it was 30 years old, alarm clock with no power running to it. Pretty shocking.

False advertising. This Super 8 has been neglected for a long time. Many problems ranging from poor security to poor cleanliness. Avoid staying here as this property is in need of many repairs and extensive maintenance.Rooms: Outdated, cleanliness was questionable, leaking sink, only hot water on the sink, broken toilet seat and the toilet makes a lot of noise when flushed. Found a cockroach and the list could go on.Safety: There was a man yelling in the hallway in the middle of the night. The building has a security camera but that’s not enough in our opinion to ensure guests safety.Noteworthy details: The property is on separate buildings, to which the key doesn’t work that well. Poor lighting on the property. Cleanliness is questionable. Outdated furniture. Beds are super uncomfortable.

The room smelled. The halls were dark and dingy. Holes in the ceiling in the hallway. The white towels were tan to brown. The blanket had cuts in several places. The bedspread had cigarette holes. There was NO clock. The room air conditioner smelled very bad. Many of the parking lights were broken or flickering. Not a safe parking area. The bed was broken down, had to stack bedding on the bed to try to fill the in the holes. Limited TV channels, for cable it was as disappointing as the room. It was appalling to say the least and we will never go to another Super 8 / Wyndham property. We will be complaining to the health department, hoping they will have to close their doors and make a safe clean environment for guests. If I could have rated NO Stars I would.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I get it, it's a Super 8, but where I'm from, basic maintenance is at least conducted on Super 8 motels. My room had roaches, the air conditioning didn't work, the fridge didn't work, the floors were filthy, there were roaches. I've been all over the world, and have stayed in hotels in third world countries multiple times. This hotel is disgusting, and needs to have its franchise revoked by Super 8. In fact, I'm going to reach out to Super 8 corporate to inform them of this situation.Rooms: Dirty floors, roaches, non-functional appliances, dirty toilet and shower/bathtub. Don't drink the water, I'm not sure it's safe.Safety: Given the unsanitary conditions of this hotel, I assess it as not being safe an any regard. I almost bet that the wiring is not even up to fire code.Noteworthy details: At least the desk staff is nice.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in...EVER!!! I've stayed in many Super 8 Hotels over the years, but this was the first time I've had issues with one. Super 8 and Wyndham Hotels should be embarrassed and concerned that this property is representing their brands! I stayed in Room 117 checking in on Thursday night, August 10 and checking out on Friday morning, August 11, 2023. The room was DISGUSTING!!! The linens had stains on them. One of the electrical outlets had no plastic safety cover. The chair in the corner was stained like someone had given birth in it but never cleaned afterwards. The carpet floor was stained and crusty with something (maybe the same stuff that was on the chair?). Some of the bathroom lights were burned out. TV didn't work and the remote was sticky. One of the pictures above one of the beds was almost ready to fall off the wall. Hallway had trash stacked in it and stunk. Pool was empty except for a few inches of greenish brown, mossy water in the deep end...and there were dead weeds, trash, and FROGS in it! The gate to the disgusting pool area was unsecured and open. The "Continental Breakfast" had no milk, no juice, no muffins, no protein. Just a loaf of bread and a toaster, some apples, oatmeal packets, two kinds of cereal (but no milk for them), and some stuff to make pancakes. The exterior of the hotel was unkempt. When I mentioned my unhappiness about my stay in the morning while checking out, the girl at the front shrugged her shoulders and said "Maybe you should have looked at the room first before you checked in to it!" Are you kidding me!?!? It's a Super 8 Hotel! I trust it's going to be fine! I was so stressed out with anxiety over catching some kind of disease or getting bed bugs from this hotel room that I got a whopping less than 3 hours of sleep after paying over $90 including fees and taxes! This hotel doesn't need cleaned up...IT NEEDS CONDEMNED AND BULLDOZED!!!

The manager could care less about giving inappropriate kind customer service, especially as a vendor making a delivery period wouldn't offer experience. I would never stay here ever. I guess some people are satisfied with a certain amount of money and therefore don't feel they have to care or maybe they just don't care.. This is typical of owners of this nature of hotels like this.

This place needs huge helpFirst of all it lists heated pool then when you get there they says it's being renovated but that thing hasn't been used in years!!! Looks like it's been abandoned in Roman timesIce machine didn't workSheets were stained and had several ripsNo drain plug in sink so anything you dropped would be goneClean though and breakfast though basic was good.

If I could give zero stars I would. Checked in online, got to property and desk clerk very nice. Got the room key and brought our stuff in. While getting settled in I noticed that the a/c wasn't very cool, the microwave didn't work, the mini fridge didn't work, the pool was empty except for rotten leaves and brown water in the bottom. After about 30 minutes my son-in-law that was traveling with us arrived and noticed that the TV wasn't working so he went to front desk and they gave us a new room key. Before we moved all of our stuff he checked out the other room tv, microwave, a/c, fridge and none of those worked in that room either. He went back to front desk and 4 other people were down there complaining about the rooms, the roaches, the spiders and spider webs in the stairwell, and they were all demanding a refund. The desk clerk was on the phone with the manager and my son-in-law overheard the manager tell the desk clerk that absolutely NO refunds were to be given to any of the guests and he was NOT coming into the hotel to take care of the problems because he was afraid of the angry guests; he MIGHT be in in the morning to handle the situation. I spoke with the desk clerk as we were leaving about getting a refund as we weren't there for even 2 hours but she said I'd have to speak with the manager in the morning. I told her we were just passing through and wouldn't be there when the manager ever decided to come in. Super 8 used to be a good chain but don't bother going to the one in Socorro, NM- it should be condemned by the health department.

Thankfully, no bed bugs! After reading a few of the other reviews I was worried but the sheets were clean. The rest of the room was filthy, yet we were thankful for a place to sleep. We got a late start to our road trip from Colorado Springs to San Diego, and decided we would just drive as far as we could, not knowing it was the same weekend as the 50th anniversary balloon festival, causing a lack of lodging and crazy high prices. I said appreciate that the room also didn't strongly smell of air fresheners like a lot of places like to do to make it smell clean which make me sick. Breakfast was decent with a waffle maker, muffins, and juice. Definitely wouldn't stay again, but thankful they were open when we stopped at 1am.

This place needs to be closed and upgraded very badly. We booked online, so we had not seen the rooms. Our bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time. Mold on the shower, toilet had not been brushed.Sheets were clean....at least that.It has filthy old carpets.The pool and yacuzzi had been emptied. Not that I would have used them anyway....I was tempted to upload pictures, but I better don't.I will not recommend this hotel at all

I ordered my stay online didn't even check the reviews for concerns.. I read them and honestly I was worried.. I'm out of town on work getting dropped off with luggage not fun whilst running from a disgusting room. BUT my stay was excellent quick at the counter and I'm sorry but the descriptions given in all these reviews did not reflect my room or experience...Rooms: Good enough to sleep peacefully and yes everything was checkedWalkability: If your not out of shape and can walk 2-3 miles round trip your good to go

Staff was very helpful and very friendly. The Property is need of Remodel. The our room had Bad Body odor. In my opinionthe Carpets need to be removed. It was a must stay for us. A most dangerous situation was that one Exit door could Not be opened from the INSIDE! ! !Noteworthy details: Eixt Door could Not be opened from inside. So very Dangerous

Dead bugs, dirty toilet, electical plugs worn out couldn't plug anything in by sink. Black mold in hallway ceiling tiles. The place needs an overhaul. Window held closed with old wooden stick. Capet had stains the room & hallway just stunk. Was expensive and will never stay there again. Garbage all over outside & needs pest control huge ants outside & no place to walk a dog.

Everything seemed fine until we woke up to find bed bug bites all over our backs. On investigating the room further we found mold in several places which explained why my girlfriend was terribly sick and vomiting the night before. And to top it all off they refuse to give us a refund because when I brought it to their attention it was past check out time. Terrible hotel please go stay at the Economy Inn.

I am a Wyndham club owner and like to use the network for the reward points. This is the 2nd time we’ve used a Wyndham hotel for a quick overnight stay and both were disappointing. This place is old and run down. The first room had mold and dead bugs in the window still, stains and cigarette burns on the bed spreads. We switched rooms, which was better, but you can hardly get the faucet on and the toilet plugged up. Not even going to try the shower🙁

Disgusting NEVER again! How dare they say they are affiliated with Wyndham! Dirty sheets, shower was nasty. The cloth couch was so dirty it should be thrown out and smell was horrible! Wyndham should look into this location and why they would ever allow this to happen. I would definitely NOT recommend this location to anyone. I have pictures wish I could upload them!

Do NOT stay at this hotel. Bed bugs everywhere. Sink and tub dont drain. A constant mold/mildew smell. People running down halls banging on doors at 2am. Double charging for the room. Refusing to wash our clothes in their industrial equipment due to bed bugs. Giving us an attitude when we confronted them about the bugs. Offered us a dollar to go wash clothes somewhere. Staff is rude as hell. Do not leave anything unattended in the parking lot, including your vehicle. Roaches everywhere. Some form of aninal droppings on the furniture. Food crumbs and rat droppings within the sheets. Do yourself a favor and stay at the holiday or just be smart and drive on pass socorro, nm.

Room was pretty much what you'd expect from a super 8. The a/c didn't work the best. But probably because it was 105° and we got there around 8pm and there wasn't any air to the room during the day. It was nearly impossible to get the room cooled off.The front desk staff was very friendly.

This is one of the most disgusting places I've ever seen. Outside there are piles of trash in the parking lot. Old mattresses, broken furniture, bags of torn open trash, broken bottles, beer bottles and cans all around the dead landscaping. HUGE wasp nest over the back entrance door. Our room had a stopped up toilet, dead roaches on the bathroom floor, dried food on the carpet that looked like fried chicken. The shower head was so clogged that water just spurted out. The mattress was so dilapidated that I almost lost my bag in a dip. The only decent thing was great AC unit. Beware of this hotel!!!

The place is not very clean. My husband picked up food trash from around the room. The outside is a mess. Trash all over. Tried 2 rooms with a recliner. Recliners didn't work. (Due to breathing problems, my husband has to sit up mist of the night.) The third room was better. Black mold around ice machine. Will never stay there again.

What a DUMP!! No wonder they only show one exterior photograph on line. Trash everywhere, a window screen half way off one of the second floor rooms, the garbage dumpster had all sorts of garbage around it, the caulk around the toilet was falling apart looked like it had been leaking, the room smelled. Two of the facial wash cloths were stained. One of the breakfast area walls looked like some liquid had been thrown on it. I took numerous photos of the dilapidated condition inside and out. Plan to send them to Corporate. Only stayed one night and that was one night too many. You get what you pay for so stay away!!
