My fiancé and I absolutely love coming here. We were referred by a friend and definitely do not mind making the drive out here for every visit. We unfortunately met all the docs as our baby Darwin was nearing the end of his battle with lymphoma last year. All the doctors here were awesome, empathetic, and answered all of the questions we had during this horrific time.We have since gotten another rescue and still love bringing him here. We are always able to get an appointment within a few days and staff have all still been amazing. Highly recommend bringing your fur babies here.

Every time I call for an appointment there is an appointment either the same day or within the week. Great staff. Wait times may be a little long, but they have a full running very busy operation. Boarding, grooming, day care and vet services. Also offer a military discount.

I went out of the country and used SWACC for boarding. I paid to have my dog walked once a day (roughly $2000/monthly). While out of town I talked to a person at their business. I asked if he was being walked daily. They were offended that I asked and requested me to come get my dog as they didnt want my business. I was a bit shocked that this upset them as this is a normal question. When my mother came to pick the dog up, they told her they were upset because of my response about the expense for a teeth cleaning. They told me they did like me questioning the walking...then told a family member it was due to the teeth cleaning expense (I was given a range for teeth cleaning of 150-350, but then received an estimate for 800$= and all I said was "oh I thought it might be less") - well this offended them again. Very strange. They seem to be a bit snobby for some reason.

Manager Erica provided me with diligent attention and service on an issue that arose for me and my pet. She, as well as Tech Judith were extremely empathetic and helpful tin resolving my concerns. Dr. Gutiérrez, other Doctors, and the Vet Techs at this facility are amazing and obviously care for the animals they treat!

My doggies love doggie daycare here! They are always excited,, and can't wait to get there!Coco and the rest of the staff are so caring, and very helpful. They always go above and beyond! We are lucky to have such a top notch facility here!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by one of the staff in the parking lot, who was cordial and polite, and led us to the examination room.No waiting! The doctor carefully explained the upcoming surgery. Answered our questions, and then some, putting our apprehensions and anxieties, at ease.The drive from Las Cruces was worth it.

Love the care and attention my puppers get here. My beautiful puppers started coughing. They found the issue early and we are now getting her better. I have used SACC for over 20 years now, even when I left the city, I still brought my animals back to them for treatment as I trust them totally.

As zero stars are available I have to choose one star. For over 7 years we have been taking our dog to this location without problems. Unfortunately you only know how good a company is when things go bad.On April 1 we took our dog to board. We always pay extra so she can have time outside the interact with other dogs which she enjoys. Unfortunately for our dog, the facility stopped separating the animals by size (which we did not know) and she got bit by a much larger animal.This was very stressful because we were obviously out of town.When we go to pick her up, they billed us for all of the veterinary care plus the boarding cost instead of charging the medical care to the the other dog family (which would be the right thing to do OR they pay for the care as they were left responsible of her care when it happened). We were just glad our dog was going to be ok.Yesterday 6/9 we get another bill with additional charges! Yes!How is this possible? When we went to pick up our dog, we paid the bill that was presented. How is it that now they are asking for additional money? Beware! I don’t get it! If my dog had been bitten by another owner’s dog on the street walking, I would have that owner pay all my bills as THEY would be responsible for the injury.Everyone beware! needless to say our dog will never go back to this business.This could be a case study of how NOT to treat customers. Keep in mind we had not posted anything right after the incident as we had just decided not to use them anymore.This situation has been so egregious, they left me no choice but to post this!

Very disappointing experience regarding my diabetic cat. Not only was the vet, Dr. McKee, extremely rude and disrespectful to me over the phone( he even cursed at me multiple times), the manager Erica was as well, she even had the audacity to say it's 'disappointing' that we are leaving a negative review based on their unprofessional and extremely wrong way of handling the entire experience. I provided my cat with 4-6 extra cans of food and gave very direct instructions on how to care for her. From what I was told, after her stay and investigating as to why the 4-6 cans were not returned. I was finally told that supposedly she had "refused" to eat 4-6 times! When I was told I would receive a phone call the VERY FIRST TIME, IF MY CAT REFUSED TO EAT. Not once was I notified nor given a single phone call as to her "not eating". Not only that, I was told that it was 4hours of waiting for her to "eat" so not only was she not fed on time, her insulin was many hours late for "the first few days" and it was not brought to my attention a single time, even when my cat has never refused to eat a single time in her life, not only that she has a disorder of her constantly being hungry, so hearing she "refused" to eat 4-6 times is seriously a concern, however it was "not a serious concern to them".My cat could've have gone into hypoglycemic shock, based on how long she "did not eat" and did not receive her insulin. But again I was not notified a single time.Do NOT SEND YOUR PETS HERE.And on top of everything they did not return my dogs blanket that was provided to the facility during her stay, they did not send pictures, which was marked on the sign in paper, and not once was the "manager" apologetic at all. Seriously and truly disappointed.Oh and we spent $489.32 and still not a single apology or replacement of anything. Completely ridiculous.

They wouldn't give me an estimate on a standard procedure for my dog. Other Veterinarians and animal clinics in the area happily gave me an estimate before offering me a check-up with the doctor for a more accurate quote. In here, it felt like they wanted me out of there because I didn't have an appointment.Why would I get an appointment with them if they can't deliver something as basic as an estimate? I won't give my money away for free.Suppose animal care clinics and veterinarians won't give you a basic estimate. In that case, I recommend you do not do business with them. They are supposed to be offering competitive prices. I do not know if Southwest Animal Care Complex provides reasonable prices and services. Their facilities are very clean, so there's one star. However, personally, I'd give them zero for the bad customer service.

Hade to take my dog heat to have surgery on his face they did amazing at taking care of him as well as working with me on a payment my dog face is healed and you can't even see a scare staff was friendly doctor was amazing great place I would recommend this place over a lot of others and if I ever have an emergency with my pets this is the place I'll be going back too

There’s absolutely no place else I’d take my dogs. Whenever I come in or call, Judith goes above & beyond the call of duty to serve my pets. Id recommend her every time if I could! My experience is always pleasant because the staff obviously know & love what they’re doing! My dogs would say the same if they could lol 10/10 recommend to my other fur parents out there!

The vetinarian who owned this business was older, but caring and reasonably priced. The last time I took my sick cat the tech told me the owner sold it to a corporation who had purchased several pet clinics in the area and across the country. The previous owner still works there, but there is another female vetinarian who assessed my cat. I liked the previous owner much better. She didn't have a pleasing bedside manner at all and I didn't care for the way she acted like it was useless to do anything for her. No empathy. I knew it was serious, but I wanted to make sure she was pain free and hydrated. I took her home at the end of the day. She was given a small amount of IV fluids and nothing else. I won't be going back there again. The techs and receptionists are very nice and a great place to board your pet if you're on a trip. They take very good care of your well pets and the older vetinarian is excellent with the Sick ones.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. My dog was there almost an entire week and saw all the doctors on staff. Each doctor took special care of her and treated her as if she were their own dog. It touched my heart that they would care so much about our dog. My family and I are forever grateful to them for saving her life. Thank you!!!!

Dr. Gutierrez is extremely thorough in her care and provides detailed explanations for what is going on with my dogs. I would never take my dogs anywhere else after experiencing her care.

It was recommended by my vet that I take my dog on an urgent visit to this clinic as my vet had no openings. My dog was still ok but throwing up bile. The young vet and her assistant were quick to complete blood work which I authorized however did other procedure that was unnecessary without my authorization. They were quick to diagnose and recommended a type of med that costed quite a bit. I ended up paying $410 just to hear that my dog was ok and quickly discharged him with an antiemetic and omeprazole. I tried to give them info regarding his behaviors and how I thought he might have a parasite. However they were quick to cut me off. Even though he is my dog and I know him best. They were in a hurry to get rid of us it felt like. Today I called them back as my dog has taken a turn for the worse possibly due to those meds not sure. They would not prescribe anything over the phone even though I told them I live in las cruces and work. They strongly gave me a spot for tomorrow at 10:45. I tried to let them know I work and that I had already taken him and was charged so much money. Whoever the girl was that took the call was heartless and let me know it was her way or the highway. They did not care about my dog. I’m so sorry I ever entrusted them with my dog. Their customer services serves them only. I would highly not recommend these folks. Their phone ad says they care about the dogs and family but realistically that not what their customer service says.

This place is awesome. I have been taking my pets here for over 25 years. The staff is super nice, especially Coco, Lynn, Sally, Carrie and Danae. They have a wide range of services here including boarding, veterinary services, grooming services, doggie daycare, etc. The premises are very clean. They have different sized runs for different sized pets. They have outdoor activities for your pet when they are boarding if you wish to pay extra for those services. You may bring your own food if your pet is on a special diet, and you can bring their bed so they don't feel so lonely without you. The pets that are boarding get fed twice a day. We call it the doggy resort. I like the fact that they have several doctors on the premises while I am boarding my pet in case there is an emergency, my pet can get treated quickly. They even do horses, but since I don't own a horse I don't know all the services provided. I highly recommend Southwest Animal Care Complex.

I am so happy with this place. I give my puppy an annual shave and he always comes back so sad and hurt. It will be days before he is himself again. This time he came back so happy and full of energy and we noticed it the minute they walked him to our car!! Thank you guys so much for taking care of Max!! We will definitely be back and will recommend you 1000%
