I usually love Loves truck stops, and in fact we passed up other fueling spots, because we have liked the clean and friendly stops Loves provides.In this instance the gas pump wouldn't enable our card. So I went in with $20. cash to ask the cashier to enable the pump. I paid for it and relayed the problem with the card. After paying for it I noticed that my daughter was still waiting for the pump- she had already tried it, and nothing. I asked the cashier if she had enabled it and she said she had. I then relayed that it didn't look like it, since my daughter was still waiting, looking at the store. The cashier said, "Well she's just standing there." I again mentioned that she would have been pumping the gas if it was enabled. The cashier raised her voice and said in a condescending tone and slowly, as if to a child "Well you have to lift the nozzle and put it in the tank..." It was loud enough that others heard and looked. I didn't answer and walked out as I saw my daughter again was attempting to use the gas, and she indicated that it was then working. I explained to her how rude the attendant was about the whole thing. We then went back in to the store to use the restroom and get refreshments. Looking back I saw the 1st cashier staring after us in a rude manner. Exiting the restroom there was another Love's employee who gave us a dirty look, and we figured it was due to either having heard the exchange or the 1st attendant/ cashier had told her about it. We stood in line and this 1st cashier was super friendly and chatty with the woman in front of us. We paid for the refreshments with this cashier, Jenny, who was then polite, but not friendly.It would have been great if the 1st cashier had been helpful and friendly, instead of rude.

It is a very busy place, lots of people coming in an out. The restrooms where not as cleaned as expected but the showers where on point. The red hair lady which i didn’t ask her name was very friendly and nice, it was my first time experiencing a shower at a truck stop and she helped me explain how everything works. Big prompts to her, she was very courteous and friendly about every question i had. Thank you very much. The other two ladies that were attending the cash register were not at their best. I don’t know if it was because the place was to busy and they were just annoyed buy it or that’s just the way they are, they were somewhat passive aggressive to customers which i don’t like that. You treat people the way you want to be treated. Compared to the red haired lady and her coworker (at that moment taking care of the showers) a gentleman with glasses thank you for your kindness and service. This was on 04/27/2024.

I walked in to use the restroom and found Randell, a love's employee, on his hands and knees. Scrubbing one of the toilet stalls. Not many people have this pride in their work anymore. Big thanks to Randell for keeping the restroom from being some place that I don't have to regret to go toI am a trucker, so I don't have many places I can go that don't look like a tornado hit it!

This has to be the worst designed Loves in the chain. One way in, one way out, and the pumps are in the middle with very little room to maneuver. The inbound side can get backed up very easily with trucks trying to fuel, that you can’t get to the parking area. The stupid thing is that instead of expanding the area for trucks, they decided to use the land they have for an rv park! They could have easily used that to make more room for trucks to fuel and people to get by. Whoever was in charge of the design and construction, as well as whoever approved this cluster F, should get a job elsewhere as they are not suited for this at all. This will be the last time I stop at this Loves, and highly recommend that anyone reading this heed my advice. It is an absolute disaster.In addition, the showers are really small and the water pressure is abysmal. I’d recommend the TA across the street for both parking and showers, and fuel elsewhere. And I am not a fan of TAs, that’s how bad this Loves is.

Parking lot is small and under construction. 2 pumps are out of order and it is nearly impossible to get around the amount of campers/RVs that stop here for fuel because they can't back up and get stuck with the construction going on.Never coming here again. Go to Tucumcari instead.

Jennifer,cashier,older woman,was unbelievably rude. She went from zero to full blown Karen in 2 seconds over a coffee cup.The manager was also less than helpful as wellRestaff this place but keep Jacob. He was friendly and decent.

40 Dogs on Grill no buns. Lady was rude when I asked about it.Carl's Jr closed. And it's like 2pm.I was looking forward to Carl's lol. ClosedNo Buns either. Only thing to eat was the nasty Pre made stuff.Guess I will go accross the street to the competition. Won't be back.

Only good thing I can say about this store is that building is newShower has no pressure and no hot water.Worst shower ever. And like other Love’s stores they don’t have privacy latch on their doors. While I was in shower I heard the cleaning staff trying to open the door from outside and they didn’t even knock before attempting to open door from outside I spoke up and knocked the door from inside so they stoped trying to open door from outside.At the checkout counter employee gave me insulting and condescending remarks because I took some napkins with my food.Considering that I purchase over $10,000 fuel from Love’s every single month I didn’t think they would have a problem if I took couple of napkins that are there for customers to use.

No.. i'm not using your self checkout even if you have to waddle back and forth between cleaning showers and the register. Hire more help or loose some weight so you can keep up.

This Love's was on the small size but they still had everything you could possibly need. Even though I stopped by in the late afternoon, I was able to find a good parking spot! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn't have to wait too long for a shower.

The manager inside should definitely not be working here. You should definitely not be a manager. Because zero communication, zero civilization, zero friendliness, zero humanity, it's a disgrace. The blond haired Manager kinda fat woman should definitely not work here.

I really don’t like leaving any negative reviews. Cashier was polite and even pretended to care a little about the dirty shower. This was my bathroom shower door last night. You can see right into the shower from outside the door. I checked another shower and it was run down and dirty. Loves travel stop is my go to as a trucker and RV owner. This was the first one I’ve encountered that just needs a little bit of maintenance.> RV dump available and you can also run your generator!

Blind side backing else you have room to turn around at the fuel island. Shower pressure is horrible but there hot water and there no privacy latch. Nice new loves with horrible arby we as truck drivers hate Arby’s.

This is only for Arby's in the Loves travel stop, came in to order food the kid is pronouncing the numbers awfully wrong and awfully out of context, and not to mention. The ugliest part was he's pants were sagging so bad might aswell not even wear them it's disgusting to see an un cleanliness person working at a food handling spot, safe serve is definitely missed with this kid

I’ve been on the road for about 14 hrs now and it was nice to coming here and do my business and get a nice snack.Restrooms were clean, stalls were nice and private, didn’t have any issues with TP, sinks, soap, or paper towels. I’m also a fan of restrooms without a door but with a kind of walk around entrance, so I don’t have to touch no handle.This is a fine trucker stop with more gurthy trucker long haul things. One thing that particularly caught my eye was the “movie for your mind” they were cds that you put in your car or wherever and it was audio stories, great for keeping you awake and entertained.This place had all the basic plus more souvenirs such as shot glasses, backpacks, spoons, hats, dreamcatchers, etc.As I was taking pictures the cashier lady asked me what I was doing and I said google reviews and she said “take my picture” she was really lively and fun and gave great customer service. Thank you to her!

Nice place. Off the road a bit, make sure to take ACCESS Road, NOT entrance back onto hwy. I had no problems with the staff...they were friendly and helpful. Showers are well designed...BUT..LOVES must be using the same idiots that Pilot/Flying J uses to build their showers. BE CAREFUL...every time someone flushes a toilet...YOU get really hot water!!! Parking lot was clean and quiet.

High marks for access on-off the interstate, basically has it's own street. Though on the smaller side of their stops, this Love's location is always clean.

More black mold. Shower 3. I remember back in 2020 and 2021, Loves showers were so clean you could eat off the floor. It's a shame they didn't keep that standard.

I guess this is a franchised location because it is NOT what you would expect from Love's. Restaurant is closed (which they still show as open on the app) and they have only old, hard, crusty hot dogs available. Hot food cabinet is empty and one roller grill is not being used. All the roller options are old, like really old and the buns are shriveled and nasty looking. This was at 6pm... You would think that they would update their info and at least have fresh food if the restaurant is closed.

This Loves is not conducive to small trailers. The pumps are cramped and do not offer much room to navigate. You can part among the semis if there is a spot.

Great stop! Friendly General Manager and staff. Ladies restroom very clean. Purchase fresh fruits and wraps to heat up. Carl's jr. attached. Hot food and hot &cold drink dispensers. Souvenirs and other merchandise available. There are showers available.

Rude staff, especially repair shop. They don't answer any queries, either you pull in or get out. Even if you ask any question to them they'll just stare at you blankly with no response, kinda racist.

Thursday 3/21/24 around 2:45pm: the same cars and trucks stay at the pump way after having filled up, just hanging out, chatting, and eating in the shade. The line to fill gas is long and slow, but no employee tells them to move.

Only stopped for gas and clean windows, really loved that they had clean soapy water and great long squiggie available.AndThey were spray cleaning the entry. Yeah!!!Only bad thing was the receipt at pump didn't work had to go inside 😕But really usually like Loves ❤️ alot.

Not sure if it’s because the cashier is dumb, uneducated or wasn’t trained properly, but she suck at doing her job. She kept saying my card wouldn’t go through but when I checked my bank account, everything went through. Please train your employees or hire someone better!

I guess their system was down, and they couldn't take cards, but they didn't say anything until after I had tried both of my cards. And then they did the same thing to the next person while I was standing at the ATM, paying a $5 fee for $10 of snacks and drinks. If you can't take cards, then either put up a sign or say something at the start of the transaction...Clean restrooms, though. 🤷‍♀️

Play looks great after the remodel I only have two complaints one is the water pressure it is very very poor, hard to get the soap off of you but my biggest complaint is the bigger lady that was in the green shirt she should not be in customer service born to be dealing with the customers my perception is she hates life and doesn't want to be there I stopped by frequently for fuel shower and any beads I might have but I will most likely bypass stopping here again ask her for an extra towel she looked at me and in a nasty way said I don't clean the shower that wasn't what I asked so I just walked away and waited until I saw somebody else then as I was looking for something to take with me for dinner I was looking at the salads while the bigger lady was stalking the salad area I did grab one from the back just in case I didn't want to eat it tonight it would last longer in the fridge and I got the nastiest look I purchased over $2,000 worth of fuel every week let this Love's won't get any more money from me

This place is under construction so mem's restrooms are in a trailer in front of thr building. It could use more cleaning. Women's bathroom is pristine.
