Absolutely love Tullivers! From the minute you walk in, you know that this store is about true love for pets. We are completely grateful for the variety of amazing high quality food, treats, and supplements - toys, clothes, and products – and healing essentials (especially the homeopathic and holistic)… not to mention the awesome discounts and support for local pet businesses. Plus, the staff is exceptional. They know their products in and out of the store, are extremely warm and friendly, and treat you and your pet(s) like you matter. We couldn’t be happier with the kindness we’ve always received from Lorenzo and Hannah, as well as the owner, Ellen. There’s nothing better than having an establishment that makes you feel like part of the family. Santa Fe is very lucky to have a store like this. Some may feel it’s a bit expensive. But from our experience, it has saved our furry kindred pack from having to go down an even more expensive health path. We give Tullivers 5 stars and 100 more! Thank you for caring so much! We appreciate you!!!

I love Tullivers. I come here 3x per week and the staff is always professional, knowledgeable and kind. Ellen, the owner keeps her store stocked with quality food and products. I've ben coming here for years and I'll keep coming back. This is the best power store in town.

I had only intended to leave my original review but since you want to respond with a bunch of untruths, I just want to say that when I arrived home and my cats realized that I had been unfairly asked to not return to their pet food store they said don't worry mom we know your not a bad person ❤. You don't need to worry because there's a friendlier store down the street that carries our brand and will special order if we ask you to ask them.The owner lacks empathy or remorse for being treated badly by her staff. I guess she is trying to report me for having taken back 6 cans of food with a valid receipt. Nevertheless, this establishment represents the same idiotic attitude of a small town mentality where they try and intimidate their customers. I made it clear that I will not return based on their lack of transparency and greed. My review below only details the callous trivial attitude of her staff. The owner said I was unwelcome when she realized they owed me a ten dollar credit in cat food. Well you won't have to erase my account because your wonderful employees accidentally did so last week.To the Owner: Your behavior and attitude is unbecoming, like that principle who was on a power trip in Rock n Roll High school, with her two pathetic hall monitors. As is the case in Santa Fe we sometimes have to tell mature women to GROW UP!Original review: Could not believe my experience today. The employees could not pull up my account. So I provided them the receipt for the items I had returned. So the assistant manager said it would take a moment to return 6 cans of food. He then asked if I wanted cash or credit. I said cash would be fine. Then he proceeded to say I’ll credit you on your card for your return. I said fine. Then he told me it would take longer. He said don’t worry you don’t have to wait I’ll give you a credit on your account. I said what about my credit card? He said it would take longer to do on my card… I said I would wait. Then he tried to say the cans were from a previous purchase which were not as I had the receipt. So I called him on it and he said well I had to use the previous purchase history because our computer is wonky. I asked them to give me my $2.63 credit to me in cash rather than stick it on my account which apparently got erased anyway. I just took 2 more cans of cat food instead and left without a much deserved apology for their wonky behavior. I couldn’t believe the manager and assistant managers self righteous attitude. I just bought $100 worth of food the day before and all I did was get attitude right off the bat for bringing six cans back. Wow I guess returns are not a welcome thing here and if you do they will blame it on the computer or the customer. Either they don’t want to return things or they don’t know how to. Nevertheless Lorenzo and the haughty manager never apologized or offered any help except to credit me rather give me back a much deserved refund for 6 cans of food.

Small, friendly shop that knows many customers by name! We live on the southside but came up to get a gift card for a friend who cares for our dog. The kind lady behind the register figured out in about 10 seconds who we were buying a gift card for and offered to apply the purchase points we were generating to our friend’s account since we didn’t have one. Well done.

Nice selection of raw and freeze dried food. Knowledgeable staff.Parking is very limited especially if you have full size pick up. Look to park in the back or on the street.Clientele were very intolerant when they had to lay on the horn to try to wedge into a parking spot that was simply to small for thier bmw. Don't be those people.Store was a little cramped with so much product so you might want to leave fido at home if not we'll controlled but otherwise pretty friendly.Go buy your furry friend a toy, a year or some raw frozen food, they will love you more for it.

We stopped by while in town to grab some raw bone treats and toppers for our newly adopted rez pup who’s a picky eater, and we loved this spot! We ended up stocking up on a bunch more items since they had everything we would ever want for healthy dogs. The staff were super sweet and friendly. Highly recommend you visit with your animal!

My cat is in early stages of kidney failure and Ellen has assisted me learning about low phosphorous food for this condition. We found this wonderful store almost a year ago and have never looked back. The quality of their products is spot on, I have never had an out of stock product experience. The employees are helpful, friendly and seem to actually like their Job which shows in their customer service. My dog loves to visit the store and pick out a non-raw hide bone while getting showered with love, pets, and treats from the employees (who always remember her name). The prices are great and you can tell they care about your pet just by the quality ingredients in all the food and treats they carry. Try this place out, you’ll really love it! The owner is active in the store and just as helpful and caring as an old friend. The store is truly a gem!!

one of the worst places ever to shop at. One of the employees is very rude, tries to make it seem like she’s not with the high pitched voice she has. Was trying to get a certain food for my picky dog heard that they special order but when I asked she said they don’t do that. Acts like she’s the manager. Worst experience ever. Would not recommend and definitely would not come back.

I have found the staff at Tullivers helpful in this serious and difficult business of feeding our dog the healthiest possible food. My vet suggested more commercial food but I have faith that I am able to cobble together the right nutrients from canned and kibble available at this fine independent pet food store. Supporting independent and local business is vital as well to the happiness and health of our economy here in Santa Fe.

The owner of this store Ellen, verbally assaulted me at Target when I was shopping with my dog. She felt perfectly fine about telling me that I was harming my dog because my dog is overweight. I was overcome, having been minding my own business, and having her assault me in this way. I love my dog more than I can say and I am a responsible person. She treated me like I was intentionally harming my dog although I have taken many steps, including contacting a canine nutritionist, to help my dog lose weight. I have NEVER had anyone, let alone, a complete stranger do this to me. She had also done this in the store on a prior occasion and I simply stayed out of her store But this was a chance meeting - I believe she is a zealot and a sadist. As it happens, my veterinarian has been thinking that my dog may have an issue with cortisol which could be corrected. Instead, this woman made me feel like I am hurting my own dog - not at all true and totally out of line. Ellen needs to remember that she owns a pet food business and is NOT a veterinarian. I will never certainly visit this store again. Imagine, if you were shopping at Target and the woman from the pet food store berated you and made you feel like you were the worst person on the face of the earth. Treating someone in this manner is inexcusable Ellen needs to know her place. I hope she is smart enough not to write a response. I was in tears last night because of this sadist. Be careful, people. She is NOT A VET

Wonderful selection of superior quality products for your pet. I love Tulliver's Fromm dog and cat food, no brush dental hygiene food additive along with their wide assortment of toys and accessories. Great customer service and quick turnover of products to insure fresh food or treats each visit.

It’s a shame that just one employee can utterly ruin a business’s reputation. 2 horrible (rude, demeaning, unprofessional) instances with this employee, and I will never return. That’s my limit. I intend on telling all of my friends who shop there about this, and I’m quite sure that they will never return either. This particular employee believes that she owns the business, and treats customers so horribly, that it’s unbelievable. I will never EVER return to this store, and I have spent hundreds and hundreds, likely over a thousand dollars there. Get rid of this employee, and your business will thrive. First initial, “H”. Unprofessional to the extreme, hidden behind a soft tone of voice. She also acts like and speaks as if she’s the owner. Never again.My response to the owner below:I did nothing of the sort. I was on my cell speaking with my friend about something awful that had happened to her. This is the second time that your employee has created conflict, which she seems to enjoy doing, always trying to assert her “authority”. The first time, she refused to accept a return on a defective, non-food item, and became extremely nasty towards me. Since then, she has been icy and unprofessional towards me. After you lose many more customers due to her, perhaps you’ll realize the truth. Not to worry, I have zero intentions of ever returning to your chaotic and unprofessional business. After the first incident, I didn’t want to return. I should have listened to my gut the first time.Treating a loyal customer in this manner both times is utterly appalling. Instead of asking a very loyal customer what actually occurred, you immediately take the side of your employee? That’s just ridiculous. You were not present on either occasion, BTW, and yet you respond this way? That says it all. Blaming the reaction (I used no foul language) to your employee’s unprofessional conduct as the cause, is also absurd. In a 4 animal household the local pet store is super important. I absolutely love Tulliver's!They have super high quality products and personable help. My cat Larkin loves the frozen rabbit and Ike, my 12 year old golden mix enjoys the self serve, I mean, meaty jerky treats. Your pet is treated like a celebrity here!
