carpeting the stairs to our second floor has been a priority for my wife and i for safety reasons. the home had inexpensive tiles on the stairs with sharp edges making it difficult for us and impossible for our greyhound maximilian and terrier hazel to safely go up and down the stairs.obed was able to special order the carpet we wanted and his installers (manny and abel) did the job perfectly.now max and hazel can go up and down the stairs safely. :)thank you!

Our experience at The Carpet Man was excellent from beginning to end. Obed, our salesperson, was attentive when we were selecting our carpet, taking time to make us feel like valued customers, answering questions & providing knowledgeable input.What is of special note is that he did exactly what he said he was going to do and followed the exact timeline he gave us. In our community, it is customary when dealing with home service businesses to be rescheduled multiple times, to hear lots of excuses as to why the project can't be accomplished, to try to have the deal changed on us, and to expect long drawn out frustrating situations. Our experience at The Carpet Man was the exact opposite. The installers were positive, skilled, & professional. We would unreservedly recommend this business.

We had a vinyl floor installed at my elderly parents home to replace very old and outdated linoleum, carpet and tile in the kitchen, dining room, entry way and hallways. Obed is kind, professional, very attentive and responded promptly to any questions. He was very accommodating and understanding of our needs. His crew did a great job and my parents are very happy with their new floor.

When it arrived at his shop he called us to schedule the installation.The crew that did the installation were very competent, polite and efficient. We thought it might take them more than a day but it was finished in about five hours.Well done Carpetman! Highly recommended.

We bought a house in Santa Fe and realized the carpet really needed to be replaced. We only had a few days before the movers would be delivering our furniture. Obed exceeded all expectations. He found us a nice quality carpet and pad at a reasonable price. He also worked over a holiday weekend to make sure it was installed before our furniture was delivered. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for carpet!

Obed Gonzalez and his team are pros! They are professional, timely, and easy to work with. Most importantly,-the floors look amazing after they refinished my red oak planks. Definitely worth every penny.Obed is very knowledgable and has reliable advice on what will look best for your floors. Dont hesitate to lean on his knowledge and tell him what youre looking for. His team is also very experienced in a wide range of products, and even though I chose a finish that is very new to market, they had used it a few times and knew how the special application techniques from their prior jobs.When the time comes to redo the kitchen, I am definitely going to call The Carpetman again.

I went to every carpet place in Santa fe trying to buy a scrap piece of foam padding 2 foot by 3foot to repair wrere my dog had pulled up the carpet . Nobody would help me, majority were rude and wanted to sell me a whole roll which I didnt need. Mr. Gonzalez came thru for me and was so courteous and helpful, he even offered to deliver it to me! Highly recommended and will definitely call for any flooring we need in the future!
