The produce at Sprouts was exceptional! Many organic crops. Fresh meats and healthy snacks. The staff was helpful and nice. They have alternative organic vegan options of all kinds. I am happy with the veggies and pre seasoned pork tenderloin. They weighed it to 1.7 lbs, exactly what I asked for.

I am a regular customer at Sprouts Farmers Market in Santa Fe, NM, as well as an Instacart shopper. On two occasions at both Sprouts Farmer Market stores in town, I was met with hostile behavior from cashiers, and this is a review of the overall management practices, training, or the lack thereof, of Sprouts Farmer Markets’ employees. The last negative experience took place at the 199 Paseo de Peralta location, with a cashier named Taylor on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at around 8 pm at the checkout line.As an Instacart shopper (independent contractor), I shop at several stores in town almost daily, interact with clerks and cashiers regularly, and am greeted with courtesy by all.My experiences are pleasant, met with courteous customer service and professional behavior, and I never have problems with anybody.Except at Sprouts. The order I was checking out for on April 28, contained a non-alcoholic beverage, a 6-pack of Run Wild/Athletic Brewing Co.The cashier asked for my ID for the non-alcoholic beverage.I do not drink alcohol, as an Instacart shopper I do not take orders that contain alcohol.I had shopped for a non-alcoholic beverage once before, but had not been asked for ID at that time.I am over 60, have no problem showing my ID where required, I wanted confirmation that the item was non-alcoholic, and that the Instacart order was correct and asked the cashier to confirm that the item was non-alcoholic.The cashier became agitated, immediately took the item off the checkout counter, said he was not going to sell it to me, he “had asked me 3 times for the ID”, - implying a refusal to comply on my part, which was not the case..I pulled out my ID to show it to him, he refused to look at it, kept saying he “had asked me 3 times for the ID” (see above) and to go “tell the Instacart customer about it”.After repeatedly waving my ID in front of him, as he kept refusing to look at it, I stated that I wanted to speak with a manager and that I was not going to move from the checkout line.Another customer, waiting in line behind me, was annoyed with the clerk’s behavior, and kept shaking her head while looking at the clerk.A manager came to the checkout line, a woman with pink and blond hair, who seemed to immediately side with the clerk, told me that "sometimes non-alcoholic beverages require an ID".I showed her the ID I had in my hand, telling her the clerk was refusing my purchase, alleging he “had asked me 3 times for the ID” (see above).Only then and after she instructed him to move on with the checking out process, did the clerk look at my ID, put the item in question back on the counter, and completed the transaction.Walking away from the checkout counter, the clerk was complaining about "DoorDash and Instacart shoppers" to the next customer in line. Another UNPROFESSIONAL behavior, as It stains the customer's experience and the reputation of the store in general.I spoke with the woman manager on my way out, she seemed to show contempt for me, repeated that "sometimes non-alcoholic beverages require an ID", that the matter was resolved and that I could leave the store.Maybe the clerk was having a bad day, maybe the clerk has some ‘beef’ with Instacart shoppers, but that is HIS problem, and not mine. I cannot ignore the disrespectful, rude, and UNPROFESSIONAL behavior received. Completely unwarranted.I will now think twice before accepting Instacart orders for Sprouts, and will refrain from shopping there for myself in the future.I do not represent Instacart in any way.If Sprouts wants to opt-out from the Instacart service, they can choose to do so.If they DO offer this service to their customers, I suggest they train their staff better, so a decent level of professional and respectful service can be provided to the customer, regardless of who is shopping for whom at their stores.Thank you.

This review is for an employee named Will.I have low expectations shopping in Santa Fe. Will went above and beyond. His happy smile, his great attitude. I will definitely be returning to this location because of Will.

I visited for the 2nd time yesterday. This visit was different. After grocery shopping, I spent time in the body fragrance aisle smelling delicious fragrances, but with a purpose. I was looking for healthy fragrant scents for skin, I have a skin condition. I have to be careful of the ingredients. A young worker felt it was her purpose in life to police my activities. I was so disappointed and irritated. I'm African American, and I am one of few that probably live in this area. In my 2 visits, I think I've spent over $400 here. It was MLK weekend too. In 2024, African Americans with natural hair are policed for smelling in the aromatic aisle. My heart still hearts. After I left, the child that monitored me in the aisle departed, no longer needing to continuously turn boxes that were in order from the beginning. I'm from DC, and had forgotten what it felt like to be monitored, shadowed, suspected of malfeasance in the store until last night. That girl could've been my granddaughter. The level of offense I felt is beyond. Unfortunately, my job has moved me here for several years. Guess I need to adjust to this area's commitment to racism and intolerance of non-white humans. Spoke to manager, not sure if it really sunk in that I was policed while sniffing and shopping.

Well-stocked and with a large array of products, this is my go-to grocery store. They carry a nice mix of brand products as well as store brand stuff. There is a bakery (cinnamon walnut Bundt cake and chocolate chip cookies are really delicious), a nice alcohol department, and their produce is better than Market Street and usually less expensive than Market Street and Whole Foods. They tend to keep employees, so there are many familiar faces. It's conveniently located in a large plaza with other businesses including CVS, Home Goods, Baskin ice cream and a ton of other shops.

My issue is with a worker there named Esther. She, for some reason, had formed a bias against me. I am a customer, and a personal shopper there, which means sometimes I buy groceries for other people. This is what she has an issue with. Whenever I go through her line (I try to avoid her at all costs) she makes up another rule or systematic step I need to do before she can check me out. I’ve tried conversation with her, I’ve tried letting her know I am shopping for someone, she does not care. She does not ever greet me like she does other customers, she is immediately rude to me (telling me I need to do some step she made up before she can ring me up), and she refuses to help bag groceries.I was in the other day and was FORCED to go through her line. I had two very large orders and sprouts has made it to where you cannot check yourself out when shopping for someone else. Yet they only have one person working the checkout lane during a busy holiday shopping season. That’s not her fault, I get that. That’s on you sprouts. However, as soon as it’s my turn she does not greet me, she asks if this is an online shopping order (she absolutely knows it is, because she’s encountered me and I’ve complained about her before) and makes up a rule that I need to set these pamphlets in front of my order so she knows it’s an online order (even though she already knows lol, and literally no one else makes me do that). So she starts checking me out and then starts having a full on conversation with someone else, and not ringing up my order as she’s talking, just paused. Terrible at multitasking. There’s a lady behind me being patient as well. Throughout the entire lengthy process she refuses to bag any of my groceries (this is why I complained about her before, she told me a made up a rule that she doesn’t have to help bag my groceries because I’m shopping for someone else, even though she helps every other customer). At this point there is about 5-6 people waiting behind me, the lady immediately behind me keeps making comments and Esther enjoys complaining to her about online shopping and how it’s annoying. Basically saying it’s my fault the line is so backed up, even though she was chit chatting and refusing to help bag groceries to speed things up.Listen, she might have worked there for a long time or a short time, it’s around the holidays, things are stressful for everyone. I’m not saying fire her. But why is she a cashier? She sucks, she has a horrible attitude, and she is jaded and biased. Keep her in the back, or fire her, I don’t care, just get her away from me.Every other cashier I encounter is kind, patient, helpful and understanding. Except what I assume to be her boss or supervisor, who regularly mocks customers and gossips with her.Why do you offer online shopping to people if your employees are so terribly against it? Why is she so foul? Can you please talk to her, again? The only difference between me and a regular customer (which I am a lot of the other times because I shop there for myself too) during those moments is the card I use. Please have more than one lane open, or someone there to help bag. And for the love of all things kind and pleasant in this world, keep her hidden. Or give her a paid vacation, something so she doesn’t have any excuses for her behavior anymore.

Ha! Very much a Santa Fe place. Great organic food, a lot of necessary stuff, great wine/beer. But! Laundry detergent? Only Seventh Generation. Salt and Pepper? Separate: choice of a couple rock sea salt and organic pepper - $14. Like I said Santa Fe.

A well organized health food store. Their prices are certainly better than wHole Foodz. Selection can vary each week depending upon supply. Sometimes their prices are better than Natural Grocers, though the Organic Fruits and vegetables may be limited. One thing I really enjoy about this store is that the Deli makes quite good sandwiches to go.

I often shop there, always a treat - till last week when I bought mahi mahi filets. They were previously frozen but defrosted in the display case. They smelled fine to me, I admit that my nose is not my most developed sense. Cooked it to perfection and ended up with pretty severe case of food poisoning. My advice: stick to the vacuum packed frozen stuff. Never had a problem with that.

Nice clean store with a good selection. Don't go to this store expecting to be able to buy big brand items like Pepsi. They stock less mainstream, healthier alternatives instead. Sandwiches and sushi are available for takeout, although there are no tables in the store to eat at. You can also order online and collect at the store. They also sell wine and beer.

So I went in with my mom and the women cashier with short bright green hair was sooooo rude . No costumer service training .. she gave dirty looks the moment I got in her line .. if it would have just been me I would have left it alone but she was borderline hatful to my mom ! I over heard an employee saying bye jax so when I called to complain a women by the name of Jackie took my complaint I think it’s her tbh … tbh it’s just sad that people like this even have jobs why work here if u treat the people who support the business who pays ur bills so rudely … allsups might be hiring a better fit for whoever this Jackie /jax character is !

When I first encountered Sprouts in Burbank, CA I was impressed by the quality of the produce (among other things) and their prices. When I moved to Northern NM, I was happy to find a Sprouts in Santa Fe.Then COVID hit and afterward the quality of their produce dropped and their prices became no better than the big retail grocery stores. This evening, I saw an item that we needed on a Buy One/Get One Special, so I naturally picked up two. When I went to check out their computer system locked up when the second item was scanned with a error message referring to Promotional Item. We moved all my groceries to another register and got the same error message when the second item was scanned. I then moved to a self-checkout register and again got the same error message. it was then that I concluded the UPC had apparently not been entered correctly, causing the error.During this entire ordeal, the employees and management became more and more detached from trying to resolve the problem. In the end (after wasting at least a half hour), I didn't purchase the problem-causing item(s). The manager gave me a lame apology when I finally finished an left, but did nothing to rectify the situation.Given the reduced quality of their produce, the general price escalation, and my most recent experience with their "Promotional Deals", I see no reason to continue to frequent their business.

I like sprouts their produce is pretty fairly priced and reasonably priced compared to Walmart and Sam's club. I still like those other places but sometimes I don't need a bulk size of tomatoes. LOL sometimes I just need like two tomatoes. Sometimes I don't need like eight of them at once. when that happens I come to sprouts. I like that they have a good amount of vegetarian options for fake meat.

This five stars goes out solely to everyone I encountered in the store! I must have asked at least 10 different employees for help, and every single one of them went above and beyond! One young man went to the freezers to get me product that was out on the shelves. Another nice young lady went and found me a ladder to reach some product that I was asking about. She stayed there afterwards pulling all the product forward and front-facing everything. Even the other customers were nice! I will definitely be back!

Actually it has been better before. I understand and it is by now obvious that staffing and staff retention is an issue. At least in the past the produce section was well sorted and clean. The last few times I was there, this was just not the case. Considering the decline in service and quality, the pricing is inappropriate.

I don't have a Sprouts in my state so I was thrilled to find one in Santa Fe. The variety and freshness of the produce was excellent. The prices were fair. The store was clean and arranged in a good way to find what one needs. The checkout girl was friendly.

In general, sprouts has good employees but my experience last week was fairly alarming. They put things on a rack sort of off to the side of the store that are supposedly close out/ sale items. There's a sign that says 50% off, but when you go to the register it rings up at full price. When questioned about this I was given a discount. The produce guy who gave the discount was very hostile to me, and literally as I was leaving the store was shouting things at me. He followed me outside and was saying very rude things. It was rather scary and alarming. I'm not sure what it was about, but apparently he has no patience for people asking why things aren't marked down!Anyway, FYI. Some things are marked down and often they are not. So apparently the customer has to ask! Otherwise they're charged full price for outdated items and things that have been discontinued. I think this is pretty poor management honestly. Either give a discount and the discount area, or say these items are full price even though they were from Valentine's Day 2 months ago. Just tell us what the price is!

I love this store. So many heart healthy foods. A large selection of no sodium foods. The produce is always fresh and reasonably priced. The bakery and the deli could satisfy any craving.

Usually this is a good place to shop, but the customer service has been terrible lately. A cashier named Karen is so rude. I shop at Whole Foods and traders joes as well, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Exceptional. Why can’t sprouts get it together?

Love the store! Besides the fresh produce and variety, you have wine and beer options. You also have a deli that’s wonderful! Have you tried their sandwiches? They are delicious! I like that they have house brand items as well. The coffee selection is wonderful. I could go on…

I just ordered an instacart order and there were at least 10 mistakes which is not acceptable when delivered. Your employees are timed therefore many mistakes are made. I put specific instructions that were ignored. Please slow down and take time doing this correctly. I paid for mistakes that I can't use. Money waisted.

As a frequent customer over the last month or so the last three weeks have been the worst experiences so far.3 weeks ago I got the raspberry croissants needless to say the exteriors were exceedingly dark and they had burnt pieces of raspberry on the outside, at least that's what I think it was. Last week I bought the bear claws and though the flavor was good, all four of them were smashed into the box, so I ended up having to pick it apart piece by piece because it turned into one large bear claw. I also had bought some Muenster cheese from the deli and, within not even a week's time, it was already molding. This week I figured I would give them one more try so I bought their raisin bran muffins, I figured I would try something that's a little more healthy and something that's really hard to screw up. Instead they were dry and almost inedible unless you dunk them in coffee. So instead of raisin bran muffins I bought Japanese fighting muffins that if you checked them at an individual you could probably do damage to that person. One of the other things that I have noticed throughout the entire time going back and forth through the store is the employees really aren't helpful many don't know their stock and most of them ignore you if they've got a co-worker near them where they will have side conversations with the co-workers and not speak directly with you. It's almost a feeling as if they're doing you a favor by waiting on you or helping you.To me the only person that I've had any type of decent rapport with is Minnie and she is a great asset to the company because of her capability and customer service knowledge, especially how she treats customers in such a positive manner. Maybe it would be helpful to have her try to teach the others good customer service skills. The only reason I'm giving two stars at this point is because of Minnie, otherwise you would only be getting one

I bought some frozen foods only to come home and find out they were outdated months ago last year to be exact. I heated some of it thinking it would be okay but it was disgusting. Extreme health violations
