They did an excellent job trimming and washing Beau. He looked great afterwards. Plus his fur was so fluffy for days! These folks are great and offer very very fair prices on their services. I’ll definitely be back!

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BOOK!Like other folks leaving reviews- I felt like my dog was traumatized during the 4 hours he was left at Singing Scissors Pet Grooming. After reading that other animals have died while in their care my instinct is validated. The price was very reasonable but the hair cut was choppy at best - they did a terrible job. The smell there is so bad that I had to come home and wash it off my poor little guy. If you love your pet - find another groomer.

My two young dogs are super jumpy scared and biting at me. Really out of thier loving pup selves. Im feeling something went wrong during their haircut here. The haircut looks great (they have both had multiple appointments here)...I'm confused.

I called to schedule an appointment and the man answered the phone was rude and instead of scheduling the appointment, he attempted to educate me on my own dog, who has never even been there. I understand that customer service isn't really a thing in Santa Fe, but this was ridiculously absurd.

Brought my Persian cat here for the first time & had a wonderful experience. He got a lion cut & a bath. He looks great, smells great, and is so much happier without all that hair (despite how grumpy he looks 😾). Would definitely recommend Singing Scissors for cat grooming in Santa Fe, NM.

Do not take your pets to Singing Scissors. My Maltese dog was killed here by the owners two Siberian Huskies. After being there for 8 hours, we went to pick him up at 5:00 to find out he still hadn’t been groomed. They were still working on him. To our horror we saw as they set him on the ground and watched as there Siberian huskies tore my 4 pound Maltese to pieces. There was nothing left of him. We managed to scoop him up and drive him to the emergency vet where he was euthanized so that we would not suffer any longer. When my husband returned to Singing scissors with the police and animal control, the owner Kendra had cleaned up all of the blood, removed her dogs and hidden them and even removed my shadows name from the appointment book. She removed all evidence that there was ever a crime there. These are despicable people with no morals or empathy for what they did. Not only did they never apologize for there part in this horrific tragedy, but took no responsibility for there part. Those two large dogs should never have been there to roam freely in the facility where there are many small dogs and cats. This happened many years ago and I had no idea that they were still in business much less still the owners. Today I ran into a man at the park that got his dog groomed there and he informed me that kyndra still owned the business. He was very concerned that they let there two large Siberian Huskies roam the place freely. I was shocked and angry to hear that they learned nothing from my accidental. But how could they when they got away with it the first time. Please,please don’t take the risk of sending your beloved pet there. Do not be fooled at how nice they are. They are irresponsible and heartless

I found Singing Scissors on Yelp and am quite happy with the results. The owner was super nice from my first phone call until pick up. They did exactly what I asked them to do and my dog was relaxed and happy when I picked her up! Thank you and see you again soon!.

Took great care of both my cat and dog and their haircuts looked wonderful!!! Both my cat and dog were calmer here than other places as well. The groomers are very kind and ask the right questions to make sure you get your pets groomed how you like.

This is the dirtiest business I have even been in. There are mounds of pet hair everywhere, their dogs roam around the premises freely which scared my cat badly. The smell was so bad I almost didn’t get out of my car.

I took my Boo to them and let me tell you she was a hot mess. When I picked her up almost didn't recognize my girl. She's so happy to be herself again. Also the price they charged I was so happy with not even half what I thought it would be for the amount of work she needed. I finally found my dogs groomer.

I take my dogs here, and I never leave disappointed they do such an amazing job. I know it must be overwhelming because I have a German Shepherd; he's a big dog and am sure it's a challenge, yet they do a great job..Thank You

The staff was nice but maybe not nice enough to make up for this haircut. He has weird long pieces missed all over his chest, his face just goes from shaved to poofy in an uneven blunt line, and his tail is... Interesting to say the least. I feel I could have done this at home with a pair of clippers, absolutely not worth $75 but silver lining is he will be much cooler for the summer which was the goal.

This has to be one of the BEST dog grooming shops for "shelter rescue dogs" in Santa Fe... When I first got my little guy, I was "not sure" how he would do... After calling everyone in the phonebook, they would either not take him OR I had to pay a fortune and wait for weeks to get an appointment. After speaking with the Singing Scissors staff and explaining the situation, not only did they take him the NEXT DAY but they also did NOT charge me an arm and a leg. Today I just dropped him off for his next appointment and WE were treated with the same GREAT EXPERIENCE.. THANK YOU GUYS. for helping us make life just a little bit easier.

Just love the way our dog looks after she gets groomed here! She's part husky, and comes out looking like one of the owner's show huskies. She also seems to like going here - always starts talking when we're about 3 or 4 blocks away - it's like she knows that soon she'll be looking her best.

I requested they trim my cat's long and fluffy coat (almost dreadlocks) to 1/2 inch. They left it long, didn't do a thing to his tail. I could not really tell he had been trimmed - $59.00

I dropped my 3 small dogs off and two hours later they were done. I was very pleased/they did exactly what I asked for and the dogs seemed happy with the whole process. Thank you for a great experience!!

Used for the first time. Price was reasonable. Was a little bit surprised that the place was not cleaner. Grooming wasn't as good as some places I've been to. That being said, they did a better job than either PetSmart or Petco.

This is the most disgusting business I have ever been to. I’m pretty sure it’s never been cleaned since 1992. Definitely reporting them to the BBB. What a joke. I am so shocked that people recommended this business. Wow.
