An unusual museum, but interesting stop below the Mountains Sandias. Closed for the winter Nov 1st-April 1st...not sure if that means every winter however, best to check. I had gone there in the warmer season. Nice store inside and nice folks. ...A charming place. Pictures give you an idea of how it is put together. But stop in to see it and get a feeling of the place yourself...in the warmer seasons if you're near the area or passing through.Close to Cedar Crest.

Place is nice and the staff. Little pricey in the gift shop but it’s pretty interesting over all. New comers get a free dollar in quarters. Also I would use the restroom before visiting at the shell gas station. There’s only one porta potty there.

So much fun! I can't imagine how much time it's taken to do something like this, but it's clear they love what they do. Easy to get to, good signage, simple parking. There is so much to look at! There are sections you couldn't get to in a wheelchair, FYI, and crutches or canes might find it a little more difficult but doable. Everything was so fascinating and I'm sure I didn't catch all the little details. Just amazing.

It is definitely "unique". The drive was scenic. But walking thruout the museum one has to appreciate the amount of time, dedication and love that went into this place. A lifetime of art to look at from wood carvings, art walls, a boat and quarter machine. Bring quarters! The gift shop was also amazing, not for it's charm and souvenirs but pricing for gift shop items was more than fair. I honestly appreciate that they don't price gouge!

The 5 star rating is well-deserved. Come in and deep dive into a great collection and exhibition of toys and various other funny and interesting things. We had a great time and enjoyed our visit.

This is one of the most interesting places I have been to in years. The love is seen in the hours of work/hobby time put into this place. It is a gem worth the drive up to. Price is cheap for the enjoyment you get out of this place. The have built displays are amazing. You kids will be amazed. Old or young this is a must go adventure

Amazing history and spectacular exhibits. The wife is still running the museum after the passing of her husband. He carved and painted everything there is to see.Easy parking. Take your quarters so u can make the exhibits come to life. Cute gift store.Really would recommend this for all ages

Quaint. Eclectic and eccentric.Lots to see - my 7 and 9 year Olds lived it.The staff are kind, sweet and accommodating.Definitely something to check out!And bring quarters for the shows and pennies for the wishing well!

I lived in Albuquerque for like 6 years and I moved away so on my trip back there this year we came across this amazing place. So much to look at think about and do. I would so take my family back there when I come next to visit it was truly amazing. Amazing staff and we got to meet the man's wife who still lives on the property she is a kinda and amazing woman herself. She has kept up the place and is such a sweet soul.

Tremendous treasure grove of authentic circus memorabilia and truly inspiring outsider art. Warm and gracious hostesses. Lots of old timey penny arcade machines and magnificent dioramas and wild west facades. A fun kid oriented gift shop w games and toys and puppets. If yr in the area. Dont miss this one.

Awesome facility with so much history. Claire the owner is extremely friendly and available to answer some of the questions you will have about the exhibits. There are so many fascinating pieces & so much history!I was concerned I might not be able to get through in my power chair, that was not the case - I was able to navigate over 95% of it.One downside? Plan on spending more time than you originally anticipated, everywhere you look there is just more to see 😁

Wonderful displays and amazing artwork! Customer service is top notch!! We're visiting Santa Fe - and it was totally worth the drive. I called in the morning and spoke with the owner, Carla, because I was worried about not having tickets. She said "Come on out - we will get you in!" Be sure to bring quarters for some of the fun displays/games they have. Our kids (9 and 11) had so much fun! We easily spent a couple hours here.The gift shop is reasonably priced, too. Don't pass this up - I'm glad we didn't! Thank you, Carla & staff for your kindness!

My God this place is incredible. A man's passion in life is transformed into a miniature carnival world. The talent and time spent to create this exhibit was truly a labor of love. Finally reopened with covid slowly letting us venture out into the world you owe it to yourself to see this place before its gone

Amazing place to visit. This place started as a hobby and after a bunch of demand became a museum. Make sure to sign your name in the visitor book when you stop by. Right now you can reserve your tickets on their website. Great place with friendly people. Absolutely a must go if visiting Albuquerque

This place is absolutely amazing. I will say there is so much to see unless you give yourself about 4 hours you will never see everything and even then you might have to visit a few times to see everything. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see what amazing craftsmanship of a true missing trade. Prices to get in are completely reasonable. I will only include a few photos as I took well over 250.

This is a place you should plan on staying a couple few hours if you like details, fascinating displays and more then a touch of eccentricity. The entrance fee is well worth it and it makes a good stop on the way back from Sandia Crest if you're not too tired and have enough time.

This is a great place to explore. There is so much whimsical items here that you won't be able to see it all in one visit. The animations are terrific and will surely make you chuckle as you take in the action. Be sure to bring along a few quarters to thoroughly enjoy these dioramas. Bring the kids to this one....they will be genuinely entertained!

This is an incredible, one of a kind, you'll never see anything like this type of a place. It was worth the extra half hour drive. Quirky doesnt begin to describe it. We must have spent two hours in here or more... so many things to see. We were fortunate to meet the owner, the wife of the husband who put it all together. I am a big fan of this place!
