Usually it is nice. The bands play great music. Last time I went the bartender was oddly rude. She told me to look at the wall if I wanted to know what beers they carried. Then I asked if I could order a couple of corn hogs. She said that I could not order that plate from the kids menu because I wasn't under 10. I asked if I could have tater tots with ketchup. She asked me if I was serious. I really didn't understand what happened with this lady. But I will go back to the Lazy Lizard because the atmosphere is good.

Unique place. Nice get away from the city. The only recommendation I have is make your own cheese sauce and guacamole and salsa for the Trio. The pizza is great. Enjoyed listening and watching live bands. The noise level was perfect. I could carry a conversation while the band was playing.

GREAT food. Stopped for a quick lunch and a beer at this place next to a gas station...didn't expect too much, but was pleasantly surprised. They had the best dang tots, and fries I've had in years. The burgers and grilled sandwich were perfect, beer selection decent and service was great.It's a nice place, bright and clean, with a fun and unique collection of namesake decor. Comfortable relaxed vibe with a few locals just chillin at the bar. Will come again .

Overall I found this place to be great. Many a nights they have live music which just fits the Atmosphere perfectly. The customer service is great aswell and with the food being pretty good this is a fine place to go. The only reasons that I gave this establishment 4/5 stars is that the pizza is a little too greasy and they allow smoking, but I understand that they have to do what they got to do to get customers.

Excellent service - super friendly! We loved the hamburger with green chile and bacon followed by a decadent chocolate peanut butter pie at the recommendation of our amazing server! We were on motorcycles so we didn’t try the phenomenal selection of beers - love the variety of quality beers and the fact that we wouldn’t have to choose from bud, bud light, coors, coors light 😂

Great place to stop and have a beer and/or a burger. Nice menu, everything looked good.Friendly staff. Did take a few minutes to get served as there was only one guy bartending and waiting tables. Fun atmosphere - you can sit at the bar, tables, or outside on the covered patio. Would def stop here again, if in the area.

My husband and i are traveling the country and we always try to find a neat local place to eat. So glad we found this one.They cooked our burgers as ordered , i had french fries and my husband had tater tots.Everything was great. The food was delicious and our waitress was very kind..Loved the hometown atsomphere.I would highly suggest this place if you are in the area..

We typically go here for a beer or two so I can't comment on the food. Mexican/American I think and pretty good. The beer selection consists of a pretty stable list of craft beers, from places like La Cumbre and Marble, along with bottles and cans. Frequent bands on weekends which can get a little loud in this small place. Servers can be a little abrupt but attentive. A local pub vibe.

Had the Hellbebder salad -- man, that was very good. Dressing had just the right amount of spicy heat to compliment the salad. Chicken was tasty, most cooked to just the right amount of flavor. Good mix of salad greens, nothing stringy or over ripe. Very pleasant experience and very good food. Omlly thing to watch out for are the potholes in the parking lot. Definitely recommend checking this place out. Well worth the trip.

Closes at 9 but won't serve food or drinks or water after 8:30. Staff currently working has maturity and attitude issue. Not what I have experienced here before. Obviously more concerned about leaving work than speaking respectful. Hope it's just temporary.

I'll start with the positives: location, laid back vibe, beer selection.Negatives/needs help in these areas:SERVICE-our server was a petite goth girl, SO soft spoken (inaudible at times) & not personable. The staff were behind on bussing tables even though it wasn't busy.AMBIANCE- muggy, hot. No AC or fans (at least it felt that way) Which was weird because it was a beautiful, temperate, fresh day in the mountains! They need to open some windows.Lighting is awkward. It was dim, but not in a purposeful way. The colored lights above bar are out of place. Soft white lights would help. Way too many things cluttering the walls. The lizards are cute, but all the signage, dry erase boards, fake plants, Knick knacks, are tacky. The two tone grey on grey walls are not helping the lighting or vibe. Should have done white paint to brighten up the space.FOOD- meh. The buns for both sandwiches were cold/not fresh tasting. Almost as if they grilled the buns then stored them in the fridge for later. Weird. That threw off everything about the food. The price point did not match the quality whatsoever.I write this review as constructive feedback, in hopes they can improve. The LL deserves to be a successful business and I know they could do better if they cared & tried just a little bit more.

You know, this really is a good place for a hang and a beer. The food is good, the service is good to okay. If you like to listen to local chatter, it is fun to just belly up to the bar, and listen to veterans and locals talk about stuff. In a word, comfortable.

The Lazy Lizard isn’t your normal lunch restaurant. It’s dive-y, yet clean, with really great food alongside local beers. We went today for lunch and although we expected a different “appearance” on the inside, it didn’t turn us away. We like the quiet places without large crowds and lots of noise.Anyway, the waitress and possibly owner were very nice and attentive. We ordered waters and I got a local beer (btw, the water is good- it’s not like Pizza Barn water if you know what I mean). We ordered some sandwiches that were made perfectly and were absolutely delicious. I’m a pretty die-hard carnivore and while I usually prefer meat-ridden meals, I got a sandwich that had artichoke, cheese, tomatoes, pesto, and roasted red pepper between focaccia. It was *exceptionally* delicious and I would get this sandwich 10 times over. It was *HUGE*. And to be completely honest, the tater tots were cooked perfectly. I’m sure it doesn’t take too much to drop them in the fryer, but they were perfect. My husband’s fried chicken sandwich was great as well, and we both agreed we would be back. We are honest people and some restaurants in Edgewood are just not good and we won’t go back. The Lazy Lizard gets our approval :)

This is a place only for locals and if you don't look the part you get different kind of treatment. Sad is this use to be one of our favorite places when in the area. First the good--- Waitress was nice. Decent local beer and wine selection, local music comes. The ok---the menu offers just average frozen and fry kind of food. Not terrible but nothing on the menu to say wow I need to come here to eat. Place was pretty dead considering band was to play. With everything just so average the worst and most annoying part is the manager just has the most unfriendly personality. It appeared she made statements about customers as they came in and out, her tableside manners were like here is you food slam on table and gave a vibe of why did you come to our drinking hole. Maybe she hates her job, but can tell you this place will not win over anyone. Plenty of better places to have a local beer at.
