I really like this place, and that's high praise coming from someone who makes their own pottery. I never enjoy pottery shops. I either find them incredibly overpriced or filled with only "dust collectors".White Mountain does a good job having a range of styles from different artists, price points, and utilitarian (items you'll actually use!!) and design pieces (pretty dust collectors for you to admire in your home).I bought several items here 2 years ago, and they have held up well. I returned this weekend and made another purchase. I look forward to returning every time I come to Ruidoso!It was the only shop I made a point of visiting again while I was there.

If you are looking for local art/ceramics, you MUST come here! One of the highlights of our trip - my family purchased several pieces from both local artists & an artist from Arizona and they fit perfectly in our homes! Missing Ruidoso already and will definitely make a stop here the next time we are in town.

If you’re in Ruidoso, I highly recommend visiting this store. I talked to the owner for a while - she is incredibly helpful and kind. There are many beautiful handmade pieces available for purchase.

Corinna carefully curates her gallery into a store that looks as much museum as retail outlet. Her careful selection of each artist and their pieces reflects the kind of skill that is only possible from a master potter herself. She and her husband Don’s expertise about the art of pottery is matched only by their friendly demeanor and small town sensibility that leaves patrons longing for a glass of wine to sip around a well-stocked dinner table once they’ve stocked their suitcases and cupboards with the kind of beautiful, unique and one-of-a-kind items that are an extreme rarity in our world today.Do yourself a favor, stop in, say hello, peruse the gorgeous pottery, and leave with a well appointed table and a full heart.What a gem!

First time vising Ruidoso and I was in search of a unique mug. I came to this small shop and the staff was phenomenal. A sweet older lady had a long conversation with us about the different makers of pottery and mugs. I am so glad I chose to stop by. The entire store has a 'home' feeling. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I visited yesterday for the first time and the owners are amazing, the selection is great and the prices are good. We will definitely be back, if you want beautiful hand made items, this is the place to get them. I seriously cannot reccomend them enough. The owners/staff are wonderful.

Please, if you have not checked out the pottery and art here, you are missing out my friends! Love the artist and their pottery. Always find something to use and take home. The chip/dip platters are really unique. Great color combinations on the hand made pottery. Bowls, plates, spoon rests, the list goes on. Coffee mugs are really beautiful. Take time while you are in Ruidoso New Mexico to visit. You won’t be sorry.

So glad I came here! A lovely couple owns/runs the store and they are very knowledgeable about every single item and are so so sweet. Everything is very well priced. I was expecting everything to be expensive because the items are stunning but I ended up walking out with 2 very affordable pieces.

We met the owners of this lovely store, and were immensely impressed with their knowledge of each and every technique of pottery on display, the curation of the collection in the store, and sheer enthusiasm and love for the art. Allow yourself time to visit with the Owners and ask questions about the pottery. They display works from 13 potters, by choice both them and each potter. And don’t cheat yourself by being cheap. We bought nearly $300 and will enjoy those pieces every day with life long memories. We plan to return for more.

I first contacted White Mountain Pottery vía email to purchase a soap dish and have it shipped to Albuquerque. Corinna was so helpful, friendly, and communicative! I couldn’t ask for better interaction from a business. As a bonus, I got the soap dish incredibly fast and it was well packaged to avoid damage during shipping. Overall amazing experience!
