This Sonic either needs a complete revamp, or to be shut down. The wait times are ridiculous, the drive through and the stalls are rarely open at the same time and the food is absolutely disgusting!! I got a burger from there a few months ago and the buns were literally burt black. Even the cups smell like grease. It has been like this for years now. I gave it a few months and went back today...hasn't changed a bit! Definitely never ever going there again.🤮

Worst experience I've ever had at this sonic. The chili cheese dog tasted terrible, and the hot dog was grayish. The tater tots were old, hard, and soaked in grease, as were my husband's onion rings. His burger was a mess but somewhat edible. Th only good things we received were the drinks, but even then, they weren't the size ordered. Because we took the food home, all of mine went in the trash, as did the onion rings. What a waste of money.

This Sonic has had it's pull up slots closed for way too long. As a local, it is not a place I go as often as I used to. I placed an order on the app, and when I got there, I was unable to check in. I called inside to check in, and the guy who answered the phone did not ask the name for the order, and before I could tell him, he hung up on me. We waited outside for about 20 minutes, and other app orders were delivered. We had to holler at a car hop and ask for our order. Don't leave a tip on the app like I did. Was very unhappy, but it was too late.The manager, Sterling, and Sonic corporate offices need to do a better job

Worst sonic I’ve been to. Wait times are ridiculous! And since when do they get to pick and choose when to open stalls, drive thru, and online orders. This is one store corporate NEEDS to look into. Went by today, and one of the employees had stolen one of the other employees money. Guess we can kind of guess why the service is so poor. They’re too focused on eating & stealing! That new GM needs to get it together. Sterling would never allow this!

I ordered food through the app for two people (double bacon cheeseburger combo and grilled chicken combo) and it took 30 minutes to receive my order. Furthermore, I received a (not-so) crispy chicken sandwich although I paid for a grilled chicken sandwich. When I contacted Sonic about this, their response was "Thank you for telling us about your experience. We are sorry your experience was not satisfactory. We will work harder to provide a more satisfactory experience." This tells me that their response is an automated response. There is a significant monetary difference between a crispy chicken sandwich and a grilled chicken sandwich, and for you to not acknowledge that nor try to rectify that issue is a BIG problem.

Staff was unorganized and not very friendly. I saw they had open drinks (Redbull can, and other sonic cups) in the customer drink area rather than a separate area. I ordered the blue slushies with nerds and they seemed annoyed that I requested they make them right. There was no nerds in the slushies when I first got them and one of them didn't even have the blue raspberry syrup. I also saw the red shirt lead just standing around on the floor near customer's food and drink without facial hair net and I do believe facial hair nets are required by food law CFR 21. 117. 10 (b) (6).Overall not the best experience, but it's the only sonic near me. The footlong Coney and the new garlic butter bacon burger were good.

The app let me build my drink order but when I tried to check out it said that location was "temporarily unavailable" on the app. I asked if they would honor the half price and the manager told me they would not. Aside from the horrible customer service, the drinks were prepared incorrectly. All our drinks should have been easy ice, instead... they packed as much ice into the cups as possible. Now, that just feels spitefull in my book... So long Sonic Ruidoso! Never again!

NEVER GO TO THIS SONIC..EVER!!! Ordered and paid on the app. Upon arrival found parking bays were not available due to staffing shortage. The drive-thru was 10 cars deep. I called the restaurant and told them I was there for online pickup. I was told to pull up to the front door and then nobody came out to bring my order. I had to open the kitchen door to get my food. My Sprite was nothing but carbonated water and my fries were cold and rubbery. Tried calling the restaurant again to complain and the phone is off the hook. This Sonic should be shut down!!!!!

My wife and I went to this Sonic at about 8:00 PM. Most of the lights were off and all of the pull-in sites were empty and dark. There was a line for the drive through all of the way out into the street. We got in line and I proceeded to phone them and inquire what was going on. I was told that they did not have enough workers to keep the pull-in sites running and there were only two workers trying to handle the drive through. They were taking and filling orders one car at a time. After sitting there for about 15 minutes only two cars had made through the line. We gave up and pulled out.This is just a sad commentary on our current times when you can't find enough workers to keep your business running. I hold the drive-in blameless. But it doesn't change the fact that the customers will suffer, become frustrated, and quit patronizing your business.

Pulled up at 2:55 to get a drink for happy hour and after waiting for a bit someone mumbled something we couldn't understand but the screen said "we'll be with you in a minute" so we kept waiting. Someone pulled into the slot next to us and got the same message, evidently they were closed, only the drive thru was open so we all pulled out and waited 15 minutes in line only to leave without anything because the line wasn't moving. Evidently very short staffed...
