The people who work and volunteer there truly care for the animals and strive to find them the best and most loving homes. The new facility (well newish) is great and though the pups and kitties could be in better places,they are well taken care of and in bright spirits. If you have love, time, and a home to give then go adopt a new family member! They are full, sadly, but the animals are wonderful and perfect for that right person.

I have adopted dogs from here, and they are the most lovable animals ever. All these fur babies need a loving home, and hopefully, good people will give them one. The people who work there are great with the fur babies,they try to keep the fur babies' sleeping area clean so that they don't have to sleep in a messy room. The dog I got last year and one this year, and they're already the best of friends, and it's nice that they both have a brother now 💙 😍

Most of the people here are great, this place is so sad, please adopt a pet people, I busted mine out of prison a few months ago and I love her, she protects me and my kids and she's a pit rotty and boxer mix puppy police was tryna take her from me over paper, um she dont like bad people thats why she wanted to bite u boys and kept barking at u boys, anyway thank you guys at the humane society talk to Chris I think thanks her name.

I stopped by to leave a flyer for my lost cat. Even though they were having a fundraiser and not open they let me look through. Thank you for the kindness! My cat did return thanks to your suggestion of the litterbox and shirt on the porch. People there are so many beautiful animals needing homes go support this wonderful organization!

New facility looks good. Staff is nice and makes sure the dogs and cats are taken care of as well as having volunteers keep the animals company while they wait for a new home.

I did not appreciate my wife being treated badly for returning a dog that didn’t work out and attacked our cat. Insinuating that my wife is a liar and making her feel worse about taking the dog back when she was already sad about it is really unprofessional behavior.

Would not recommend this place to adopt a pet . There's a very rude manly lady that came out yelling at me about a dog I was going to adopt . I will never go back there . The other staff was nice the man lady wasn't so nice 😒 poor dogs .

The place is clean and comfortable for all the pets. The cat room was great for the kitties and for seeing them. The staff is warm, caring, friendly, and helpful. Adopting process was a good experience. Our kittens are healthy, loved, and human ready!

Trying to understand, that to get spot the $45 voucher because your low income is helpful, but to have no income you can't get the help of the voucher even with having snap or medicaid.i mean if you have income wouldn't need the voucher. Not jumping through hoops for that.

The folks at Humane Society of Lincoln County were so kind and helpful in finding the perfect addition to our pack. The shelter was super clean and the animals were obviously well loved while finding their forever homes. The staff &/or volunteers were very knowledgable about the animals in their care which helped us pair up with the pup that fit our family perfectly. I cannot thank them enough for taking such great care of our boy until we met him

Nice people and cool vets everyone there was nice and polite. I had to drop off a female American pit that had 9 puppies under my trailer. They took the puppies and vacinated them right away. The mom was cool. I check on them when I go into town.

The kennels are kept clean. Volunteers and staff are super friendly. Sanitizer is readily available. There is a thrift store next store that supports the shelter. Prices for adoptions are cheap and include the spay/neuter. If you are looking to volunteer applications are available at the front.

When I called this facility to check up on an animal out of sheer curiosity and love for the animal the answers that I should have heard over the phone should have been exactly this. Hello thank you for calling humane society this is blank how may I help you yes I'm curious about said pet animal rather how's it doing. Hold on Sir let me get somebody that can lie to you better than I can hold the phone please. Hello this is blank with humane society how can I help you. Yes I'm inquiring about said animal how's it doing. I'm sorry sir but it passed away because my incompetence and the lies that I'm about to tell you I hope stick because I have no idea what I'm doing and why I'm divulging this information as unprofessional as I am not to mention I'm not certified. Will that be all for you today anything else I can help you with. And at the end of all of this I wanted to reach through the phone and do exactly what I imagined I would do in such situation but unfortunately things cannot be handled that way nowadays but I promise this will not stand.

Went in to adopt a cat possibly 2. they stated the adoption fee just increased to $85.00 even though there was over crowding, I simply stated that that was kinda steep (online the adoption fee is listed as $65). Then the lady got nasty about it and said most places have adoption fees of $195.00. The cat also had not been spayed even though it was over 6 months. I have a hard enough time going in to these places because I can't take them all home but to have to come back to drop it off for spaying has to be traumatic for the cat.
