I love this store! Great place to get not only books, but but cool bags, wallets, figurines, kids' toys, and other things as well. They have some manga as well. I've never had a bad experience there, staff is always friendly and I love going when I can (which sadly isn't a lot cause of my busy schedule). If I could, I'd be in here a lot more.

Pretty nice things and souvineers in the store. Would argue that some of the stuff might be slightly over priced but this is a tourist town so makes sense. They have lots of themed items including Disney, Harry Potter, etc… They also have a whole wall of pop figurines. Overall nice staff and helpful.

This place is great to find fun stuff & some great toys for your kid but gott damm it's expensive! Non the less, I get one item every time I come to visit here. They have some great board games to play for all ages and other great games.

The staff were so rude. Treated guests horrible and made a whole scene. Definitely don’t recommend this place. Not child friendly or for anyone.

This place has just about everything! From learning materials to Loungefly merchandise, fandom socks to buttons and stickers. Whenever I travel to Ruidoso, this is a must stop for me! Great customer service!

I didn't make a purchase but boy could I make thousands of them here. Great book selections, lots of Funko Pop selections, the backpacks they had on sale were very cool, they have other niche stuff like tarot books/cards, toddler items, and more. Staff seemed friendly.

Great store! Any board game ever made is in this store!! They carry a huge variety of games, puzzles, cards, magic tricks, tarot, vintage toys (Lincoln logs, tinker toys, rock em sock em robots etc..) there is so much to see... Prices are fair for some things little high for others, but not to point of ridiculous.... They have something for all ages from 1 to 100. Definitely worth a stop in!! The service was actually friendly here too!

We visited on a VERY busy Saturday afternoon. The store was well staffed with helpful, knowledgeable people. It was clean and organized. They have a large selection of puzzles, games and of course books for all ages. Charming local store.

This cute little book store was a big hit with my toddlers. They have books for all ages and a kid's section with toys, puzzles, games, and an adorable little play area with a make believe kitchen. The prices seemed a bit high, but it was a neat store.

Very neat place has potential, if better staff were hired. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience for my first time here. Some of these reviews on here can be misleading or maybe there was just better staff present on their experience. I entered the establishment in hopes to finding a good read. When I was let down by the lack of customer services. I was greeted pourly by one girl with blonde hair. The more I was walking through the store I was amazed at all the neat merchandise and books available. It would have been even more pleasant if one of the girls that were working there ask if I needed any help. Instead, I got to hear one of the employees loud narrative of her personal problems as the other girl entertained them. It was very unwelcoming and unpleasant. They were so wrapped up in their own gossip then tending to the store or (me) the customer needs. I had to be the one to apologize by interrupting their conversation. Very unprofessional. I ended up asking if they had a book in stock I was looking for. They had a different one by the same author and was shown where it was. But no further suggestions after that. It’s sad to see such a neat store be lead by pour employees . I sure hope the owner knows what they are doing and maybe be more vigilant when their employees are around to see how they treat their customers. Hopefully the staff will be better next time.

My granddaughter and I enjoyed this store she had a $5 budget and she found something she liked so we left 😊.I have been by a few times looking for gifts they have good selections and items that help children think. Thank you for your inquiry. Now if I may encourage you to visit JW.org (the official website) it is private commercial free and no tagging. It promotes Bible principals. Great store for mainstream games, collectables, and toys! Friendly and helpful staff!Some specifics for older nerds: Magic the Gathering (no loose cards... go see Player Zone for those!) D&D 5e books and dice, Warhammer (AoS & 40k) models and paints.

I love this place. Its my favorite store in Ruidoso. The woman that works the astrology and tarot area is super helpful. Answered all my questions respectfully, gave me tips, and even suggested alternatives when I couldn't afford what I wanted. It also has a kids area too, with all kinda of neat toys that my 2 year old loved. Its like a tiny Hastings/HotTopic/Spencers all mixed into one. Really cool Harry potter bags and all kinds of collectable items! Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Best sellers and niche topics as well. Local and regional authors and artists are featured often. Huge selection of interesting and unique board games, geeky collectables and Funko pop. There is also a large section of toys and games for children, so very family friendly! Came for vacation and the weather is bad? They've got you covered. You're local and need a unique gift? (for anyone and everyone - or yourself!) Yeah, you will find it there too. Support indie bookstores! Shop local!

So glad we stopped here before leaving town. Super friendly, and they have a bit of everything. Welcoming to the kids.. demo games out to try before you buy. Loved it, got souvenirs, books, toys all in one stop.

Lot of neat stuff, not just books. Helps make up for losing Hastings. Games, magnets, unique toys, pins and crafts. Stop by every time I go to Ruidoso. My daughter loves it to get cool knic knacks for her college dorm.
