I had a coupon from spending $196 yesterday for today. I put in my phone number and the girl said the coupon wasn’t under that number. Granted I soent $60+ more today and was going to use the coupon. I said well let me type it in again and her reply was” Well if you do that I’ll have to start over n rescan the purchase. She looked so dang lazy I’m surprised she could stand to work. I said forget it and didn’t get my discount. This is why Bealls stores are so scarce these days. Bad business n won’t use them again! I should’ve stood there and made her rescan 4 items n got my discount to show her she needs to be respectful of peoples money. I don’t live here so I sure didn’t have to shop here.

It’s a great small town addition for items you don’t want to buy at Walmart. Lots of good bargains. And the household area is adequate. Just needs to be “fuller” with merchandise. Good location. Ample parking. Support local when we can.

Selection awesome! I would love to go again. This particular. Manager needs an attitude adjustment definitely left quickly after she yelled at my 7 year old through the bathroom door rudely when she was in there and my child had to really go pee. Try again! Any customer let alone a 7 year old didn't need to be talked to that way.

This is for sure the best Burke’s I’ve been to in NM. Most others are dirty and run down but this one is more like a TJMAXX and is kept super nice with great products

I love this place because you never really know what you're going to find when you go inside. Of course there's always the clothes but I love the housewares section because they have such unusual things. My biggest fine was $120 cookware set which I purchased in pieces that valued over $400, hazzah.

10/30/20...Went into this store to shop, and I normally love it. However they apparently don't enforce the mask policy that they have posted, and a lady was allowed to come in, not wearing a mask at all, and coughing on everything, all around the store. No employee approached her. I love the store, but I won't be going back for a long time.

I use to find many clothes that I liked now it's difficult to find nice things for work or special occasions. The manager is very friendly most employees are helpful. Typically not many clerks at the check out and usually have to wait in line if you do find something to purchase. I always find great baby gifts.

I love this place. Its clean and organized and the prices are oh so right. Get anything you want and most of what you need. And its a fun place. Fun to discover that treasure you've stumbled onto in a most surprising place. And don't forget the discounts given on top of all the other bargains. You just can't go wrong at Burkes.

I love this store!! Wide variety for every taste, many brand names, and you can find it all on a budget! The staff was very sweet, asking if I need help finding anything and suggesting ideas to me. I will definitely be back! Great management!

I was in the Burks in Ruidoso and I was very disappointed as the store was a real mess and the shelves were practically empty I'm sure they had a busy weekend but it was very surprising as I worked her books for 10 years and I've never seen nothing like that

This place has a good variety of stuff from clothes to home items at reasonable prices but dont be surprised if you have to size up your clothing items. Clothes run on the smaller side here.

I always love going into Burke's just to see what they have. The Burke's in Ruidoso is always clean and the sales are out of this world! The staff is friendly and I always get a "welcome to Burke's" when I walk into the store.

Decent place to shop for things you forgot to bring on your trip. This is a closeout store that stocks home items and clothing that are overstock or markdowns from mainstream stores.Burkes carries a wide variety of name brand items, marked at discount prices. I've shopped here for swim trunks, gloves, and other random items that I failed to pack in my luggage.On occasion I've found some unexpected items that I had to grab because the price was just too good to pass by.
