Petco is a great place to get pet supplies! The people here are very friendly and helpful. Also, if you are a member, then you get deep discounts on tons of items! I saved lots on a 20-gallon aquarium today just with the sale price alone, but I got an even deeper discount with the member's price!The store is light, bright, clean, and organized. The manager and sales people are very nice and were very helpful. The sections are clear, and I love the fish 🐟 up front in the center circle.A few people with dogs were there today, and it always makes me smile to see doggies! Dogs are allowed in the best places 😃They have a good variety of food and other nutritional items for all pets. Plus, it's very conveniently located on the east side of North Main.

Man, I hate this place. There’s a lot to unpack here. Firstly, the layout is confusing and chaotic. Second, the stock is so low that it’s impossible to find what you need because it’s just not there. Thirdly, and this is the most important, the way they care for the animals is atrocious. The petco website boasts an oath to animal welfare, yet they do not take proper care of animals and have them in absolutely torturous conditions. I cannot count the number of times I have seen a dead reptile in this specific location. When I point out the proper care of reptiles (because I have reptiles) the employees insist that corporate doesn’t allow them to adjust the heat, humidity, bedding, or diet. They basically torture and slowly kill these animals. Even though their website promises to protect the welfare of animals. They do not teach the proper care of the animals that they sell. Petco as a company is bad, but most of the locations that I have been to are receptive to feedback and will adjust the environment to properly care for the animals. Also, most of them employ people who actually know how to care for animals. I have switched to Chewy so that I could ensure I wouldn’t run out of supplies. I wish that we had better options out here. I would recommend that you go anywhere else.

As someone who is from Albuquerque and usually shopped at PetsMart and never Petco, it’s similar. Prices I noticed are higher than PetsMart. And as far as I know, Petco is the only pet store in Roswell, so I don’t have much of a choice but to buy my fur babies food from here.However, I’ve never ever had an issue coming in. Store is always clean. It’s hard not to walk out and not buy another pet. And by purchasing my dogs food through the app, for at store pickup, saves me $20-$40 per dog by doing it that way. And I love that option. But all the associates are always nice and friendly. Actually happy to be at their job. They always greet me when I walk in. I love the fish area. That’s the first thing you see coming in. And I see lots of Nemo’s and dorys.Other than the high prices, I have no complaints whatsoever.

Worst customer service ever. I have been canceled 4 times for my dogs grooming appointments. After traveling from over an hour away on 4 separate occasions only to find out on the day of and only a few hours before the appointment was canceled. Petco should give a 24-hour heads-up notice of cancelations before wasting peoples and time and fuel.

Store manager is super dismissive and unfriendly. He never made eye contact with me, he refused to look away from his phone, and when a super helpful employee Ciara asked him what they had in the store for a depressed cat he screamed out that they didn't give medication for depressed animals.His name is Saloman. I'm really upset. I have a cat that is probably seasonally depressed and could use a multiple number of options to help him. A leash and a halter perhaps?, a new toy?, maybe a cat tree? THE STORE MANAGER OFFERED ME NOTHING AND DISMISSED ME RIGHT OUT THE DOOR. I'VE HAD MY DOG BEING GROOMED HERE FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS. DO BETTER PETCO I'M DONE. THERE'S NO WAY I CAN TRUST ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY WITH A MAN LIKE SAL RUNNING THE SHOW.

I went in to get my son some glow fish and the price on the tank was five dollars less than what they were charging and when I brought it to the manager who was cashing me out’s attention he got very snappy and rude with me stating that they weren’t in their original tank. Then he proceeded to yell at an employee in front of me and my family being very unprofessional and very rude. I told him nevermind on the fish and he got rude with me again. I will not be going back until that manager is gone

Needed to return an online purchase. Had receipt and proof of delivery date and there were no problems getting a full refund. I was returning the item after purchase date but, before date received. Friendly staff, clean, can't wait to go back. Only drawback is it's 2hr drive for me. Wish they were closer. I'll be going back for a new litter box and maybe a gorgeous cat tree I saw on display. Has anyone used the bulk cat litter sold there?

This store was horrible the employees were helpful but the store manager was very rude at checkout I was trying to ask why half of the crickets we were purchasing were dead we were buying live crickets because we need them alive if We wanted dead ones we would have bought them dead. The manager on duty told me to shush because she was trying to listen to an employee that was across the store. Then she said we had to hurry up because she was trying to close the store it was only 7:40 pm they don't even close till 8. She was very rude and disrespectful We will never shop at this store again

Place is clean but to get help it takes a while. Was in here 4/21 was at the fresh water fish about 15mins alone, 2 other customers showed up instead of the associate asking who was first immediately helped the 2 customers who just showed up.

VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!The store needs to teach their employees how to answer the phones!Sal was very rude as soon as he answered the phone up until the end of the call.So he answers says “hello”I respond yes I’m calling about an online orderHe says “go ahead”I say I made a same day order yesterday and I was expecting it to arrive today but it hasn’tThen He cuts me off and says “that’s because he just came to deliver and if you ordered yesterday after two you should know it comes in today”So I respond yes I know, I had said I ordered yesterday and I expected it here today but the email never confirmed when it should be arriving.And he continued to interrupt me and be rude.I asked for supervisor and he did not give me that information (but hey at least he tried by giving me a name) to complain to the corporate office…sorry Sal/ not sorry!I Was just trying to know when my order was coming to the house since it was getting late.Next time, if there is a next time, be more professional about itAfter all, it is your job you get paid for! Pet o really discouraged to shop here again canceling all my monthly orders for now…

Selection isn't the best I've seen in a Petco, but you have to factor in where it's located! The selection this store does have however has almost always been excellent quality. The staff also couldn't be more professional and friendly if they tried !

Petco grooming was awesome with my great Dane. It was his first time getting groomed and he was very nervous. Jessica the groomer took a lot of time explaining things to me pertaining to my dog. She was very kind and patient with him. She did a wonderful job grooming him. Thank you Jessica. We will be back.

Really nice people working here. We took obedience classes for one of our dogs here in the past and they were great. Today I brought our little dog to get a mani-pedi. He's a sweety, but turns into the devil incarnate if we try to groom his toe nails. The lady here did an awesome job and he growled only once during the whole appointment while I was hiding around the corner so he didn't see me. She constantly talked to him during the appointment and made him feel more comfortable. Definitely will come back!

Shaun was very extremely helpful with just everything! Before he even clocked in he greeted us and even gave posters to our 3 children.. just amazing, at least 3 workers there asked if we needed help.. Very informational and dedicated with their job.. it's very pleasing when you go in somewhere and have so many people helping You! I just can't get over how well customer service is here (which is very rare and stores nowadays) as has always been. Helped us get the fish tank to our vehicle and everything!! He needs a raise!!! Will defiantly recommend !! Awesome service!!

Best pet co I've been to. Have almost everything from fish to plants. Their set up was amazing with the tanks. I rather drive 2 hours to this one than any other! People where great one help and can tell they loved their jobs. 5 stars all the way!
