Came home from cancer treatment to find our trash can picked up and deposited in such a way it was blocking our driveway and our recycling bin knocked over with all the contents spilled all over the street.We have physical issues and have to ask for help getting our bins out in the first place. I cannot believe they made such a mess and then just drove off!

waste management service is good. scheduling is good. the drivers are consistent. the containers are tough. the price for the service is out of control though. I'm paying $65 every three months. the price doubled three or four years ago. Huge jump in cost. Rediculous. I'm considering just taking my own trash to the dump every other week for $5..

WM communicates very well when changes in schedule will occur. The company frequently asks for feedback to improve services. The drivers are courteous and make sure containers are put back in pickup location. I recommend WM to anyone looking for this service.

WM always sends updates about any situation presently occurring ,future dates and weather conditions. Drivers are kind courteous and wave back on the road. The best about WM is the ability to pay 6mo to Year in advance. Thank you for your services!

No problem taking your money or setting up a new account. However, when you watch their trucks destroy your cans and complain they catagorically deny it and want you to pay for the replacement as well as it's removal. I had to take my demolished can to the dump a long with my regular trash.When I canceled service, like every other business they put you on eternal hold which was followed by being verbally berated into providing a reason why I'm cancelling just to check a box in their system. Not a fan. Take the garbage to the landfill on your own. Less aggravation and worry.

If you need to go to the landfill and time is short especially for working individuals, don’t waste your time going. Their website states they close at 5pm but it’s lies. They close earlier. Gates locked before 5pm.

Hey do a great job for getting the trash out. Only had one issue with my wheel falling off the container and within a couple days they had me a new container so no problem there

Always on time, clear comm when there might be delays. Drivers will not pick up trash that does not make it in to trucks. May be their protocol tho. Overall 4 stars.

Hi,We moved here from Fl.less than a year ago, to Rio Rancho.I listed a review in regards to us moving here around 6 Mos.ago and the barrels that were left here were nasty.I called 3 different times to get replacement barrels and you never showed up.So I gave up!!!!That's not good Customer service!!!

Online and phone prompts turn you In circles infuriating you. You’ll never reach an actual human being when calling in to the landfill or the city. It’s windy today and I know the landfill closes when it’s too windy. Spent an hour trying to get through to ANYONE to ask if they are open today and the automated system succeeded in deflecting me back in circles with its prompts time and time again.

Service is great, automated system sucks. It took me 10 months just to figure out how to change the billing information on my account from my spouse's name to my name. I kept going around in circles and even the FAQ didn't tell me that I had to close my account and open one in my name. It was frustrating because I couldn't find a service rep to help me out until finally I just guessed that I should try opening a new account. I finally found a number there for assistance to call. I also find it frustrating that I have to enter the invoice number to pay my bill. It would be so much easier if I could just go in with my ID and my password and not have to look up my account number and the invoice number and all that stuff. This is the only service that I have to do all this work on and it's time consuming and frustrating. Can't you guys make this a little bit easier on your customers?

Very inconsistent pickup.Pickup was missed 3 of the last 7 or 8 weeks.This is the only consistency with Waste Management. You consistently wonder if your trash will actually be picked up.This is nota rare occurrence. This has been a problem for the last 8 years! It will get better for a while, but then back to this.They are really great at billing you though!

Temporary move from ABQ to NYC for five years-- requested and received okay from WM to suspend service. After five years RECEIVED BILL FOR PAST SERVICE, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NONE. WAS REQUIRED TO SHOW LOCAL MANAGEMENT RENTAL PROPERTY RECEIPTS FROM NYC AS WELL AS UTILITY BILLS FROM ABQ EXPLAINING THE NEED FOR BASIC UTILITIES WITH NO ONE LIVING AT HOME. THEN TOLD SERVICE WOULD NOT BE CONTINUED UNTIL PAYMENT MADE. THEN DISCOVERED LIEN PUT ON PROPERTY AND SUBMITTED MORE REQUESTS THAT SHOULD'VE REMOVED LIEN BUT RECENTLY DISCOVERED LIEN STILL ON PROPERTY. THEN RECEIVED BILL INCREASING AMOUNT, INDICATING THAT SERVICE HAD BEEN RESTORED WHEN IT HAD NOT BEEN AS TOLD BY LOCAL WM MANAGEMENT. I WILL NOW FILE A COMPLAINT WITH REGULATORY AGENCIES, EVEN THOUGH, WM is an unregulated monopoly that should be regulated.

I have be a WM customer since 2003 and I am completely satisfied with it's service. It is reliable and consistent with its pick ups. If pick ups are affected due to weather or other reasons, it promptly notifies us by email. It also schedules pick ups for other things like big screen TVs. I can't say enough positive things about WM.

Every week, it is the same problem. They pick up the recycle trash on the other side of my street, but forget to do my side. I have to call and for them to come back the day after to finally collect. They charge the same amount for pick up for 2 pick ups that they charged prior for 4 pick ups! Shouldn’t the rate go down for less service? Makes common sense. How about a refund for services not rendered?

We moved here a few months ago and have had lots of yard debris to clean up. I wish you had separate carts for yard debris. People who take care of their yards have to decide on what they can put in their carts, trash or yard waste. It would be helpful to have the yard waste cart on the opposite days of recycling. At least through the fall months.

Doug and Cindy are the most unprofessional and rude people I have had to come into contact with. It seems as though they are in a relationship with each other by their interactions with each other. I believe Cindy said Doug was her boss obviously there is no fraternization clauses for managers and employees. This shows the TOXIC environment that Waste Management allows.... Worst Experience. Worst Company. Do not WASTE your money here and the prices are going up significantly soon! The kind gentleman I usually see when I am coming through the scale house is very sweet but looks miserable half the time. You all should treat your staff better! Shame on you!

On 4/4/23, I guess because of the wind, the trash on our block was not picked up, yet my pickup history said it had been. I tried repeatedly to get through to WM to report that we hadn't been picked up, but it proved impossible. Not too thrilled at this time with your service!

I am billed the same amount per month for collection of 2 half full waste bins and 1 half full recyclables bin TOTAL as other households are billed for consistently overflowing bins every week. WM should join the many companies that make an effort to address the community's and customer's financial situations.My effort to generate minimal trash and recyclable material should be recognized and rewarded financially!

It's a nice company but I so hate how small the poly carts are and that we only get one and that we don't have some kind of large receptacle for larger items to throw away. The drivers are great and dependable.
