The customer service is unprofessional. Our dog isn’t well socialized, so we were unable to make good use of our doggy daycare pass. When we bought the pass, no one explained to us that our dog’s personality would limit her to spending basically all of her time in a crate; she was not able to play with the other dogs. That was understandable, but we weren’t made aware either that there is an expiration on our pass. So we took a break to see if we could better socialize our dog. In the meantime, the pass expired. Unable to get our dog to the point we were confident she could benefit from daycare, we asked for a refund. Management explained they would still consider our pass valid, even though expired, but would not issue a refund, and tried to blame previous staff for not explaining limitations. If they still recognize the value of the pass, why not refund the value? It can’t have been long expired when we first contacted them. When I first requested a refund, they said they’d call back and then left me hanging for 2 weeks.Be sure to ask for names when communicating with staff, otherwise they will let your issue drop and leave you hanging.

Had an appointment for my puppy to be groomed here and was turned away. Wanted only shots from the Vet which it does state on the website I read after. My puppy first set of shots was given by the breeder. However, not that I was turned away about the vaccines but that the person/groomer/manager didn't even bother to come out of the office to talk to me about it. Felt like they just didn't want to keep me as a customer. Front desk person not friendly at all.

After more than a decade of taking my dogs to Pet Paradise (formerly known as Enchantment Pet Resort), I have come to the realization that they are no longer the same compassionate facility they once were. The situation that occurred today was the final straw. They have failed to demonstrate that their customers are their top priority, which is a disappointment to both me and the community. All of the recent negative reviews about them are accurate, and this is coming from a loyal customer of many years.

We have been going to pet paradise for 4 years.Started off great, very pleased. Board our dog 4 days a month.Over the past year or 2 new employee's and many issues.Cameras stopped working, our pet came home with big cut on foot...Then big slice above ear by eye. No call no comment.When asked, oh we don't know what happened.Last visit our quote changed drastically when picked up, by over a 100 dollars...and we were given back food ??? We inquired about why our dog was not fed. No response. Called to speak with manager, new no response just blew us off.Called corporate office 3 times and documented all.. Informed we would get a resolve and call back. Each time no response.A regional will call you. They just blow you off never call.Bottom line went from a great place a plus to an F in less than 2 years. Changing places.. Note: Inspect your dog or cat when pick up and try to verify they are eating and or taking meds.

I highly recommend Pet Paradise in Rio Rancho NM for several reasons. My dogs show me thru their actions and behaviors, that they really enjoy going there. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about dogs and handling different breeds and behaviors. We have taken our previous 2 dogs to Pet Paradise and when they passed away at the beginning of the year, within 4 months of each other (one from Lymphoma cancer and the other I believe, a broken heart) Pet Paradise was so thoughtful in sending a condolence card that the staff had signed. Having had senior pets, I was worried that they wouldn't take as good of care of them as of course we do, and they really did. They paid careful attention to detail with needed medications, etc. I also love that they don't bend the rules when it comes to required vaccinations. We have to protect our furbabies, and the fact that they hold to that firmly is reassuring. Now that we have 2 new rescues to love and spoil, Pet Paradise is the only place they will go.

This was my husband and I first time experiencing pet paradise and we were greeted with terrible customer service by Aiden Weinstein. Pet paradise had receipt of us booking for two rooms. Aiden instead charged us for three rooms and wouldn’t take the time out to realize his mistake. Drea had to mention to Aiden about the rooms for him to even proceed to help us with the problem. Aiden Weinstein decided to become more unprofessional once the correct information was put in the system. He went to print out my receipt looked at it and stapled it. He noticed the receipt had little to no ink on it. He proceeded to hand the receipt to me anyway. I had to ask him for a new receipt because I couldn’t see the numbers or print which I know he couldn’t either. I will never bring my dogs to Pet Paradise again. Terrible service!

My dog loves the place. He always comes home wore out from playing. You can watch them on the cameras they have placed around the outside. Clean, doesn't smell..... i already have reservations for the holidays.

We're so glad we found this kennel for our Corgi. The facility is so clean and well-organized, and the staff are wonderful with the dogs. We have no complaints. Daycare has been so good for our dog. We try to give her the experience a couple of times a month. She gets to run around and play with other dogs her size, and she always comes home from daycare very happy and very tired!!

This was my first time using Pet Paradise and had a great experience during the Memorial Day weekend holiday. The staff was friendly and very informative and kept me up to date on any issues that came up. My 2 dogs Bandit and Shadow had a great time socializing while they were there. I definitely will be going back to Pet Paradise again in the near future.

Amazing staff and facility, my pup had such a great time he almost didn't want to come home! All the desk staff and I believe one manager I dealt with were friendly and helpful, they even called the next day to make sure my dog was doing ok. Above and beyond my experience with a different boarding service in ABQ. Will bring my boy back here every time!

I used to love taking my dogs here, for both boarding and grooming but lately it's felt different in both staff and atmosphere. All the groomers left and I loved the one we had, for all to leave I was skeptical on why but I've never had issues before so I decided to still board my pets here. But I'm rethinking that option for the future. Recently when dropping off my dogs, while checking in 3 of them, I heard a staff member mutter to themselves "three dogs" in an annoyed tone. I understand work is exhausting but that doesn't give me a good impression of how my dogs will be treated. But I let it go and moved on. However the staff seems all new and I'm not fond of any of them or the attitudes they all seem to display. They don't appear to enjoy their work at all or have any compassion in it. They seem bored and annoyed the entire time and appear to want to just get rid of owner and pets immediately. I don't know what happened but this place seems to be on a downward slope of service. They don't even bother with report cards anymore or any form of reporting about how our pets did. I also never saw my smaller dog outside on cameras, which is understandable if they separate by size but I saw my two big ones out. I'm curious how they handle that but again no one appears to want to communicate any of that. It just seems the entire staff no longer has that happy or welcoming feel. I'll be finding another boarding facility to try I think. I hope Pet Paradise gets better again though.

I took our malamute/husky mix to get de-shedded and groomed. The groomer told me to bring him back the following week and she would finish him (no charge). I was able to get that scheduled with a different groomer, who canceled his appointment the morning of. I have tried calling for the last two weeks to get this rescheduled again to no avail. I have left 2 messages and tried their chat option (which the chat was disconnected twice because no pet expert was available after waiting 15 minutes). However, the groomer who handled him was great! Everyone.. not so much!Just left another message for someone to call me. We shall see!

We love Pet Paradise! Our Great Dane has stayed here many times and always has the best time and is very well taken care of. When he got sick while we were out of town, their team really went above and beyond to drive him across town to the vet and spend all day with him, and kept us updated the whole time. Nothing but good experiences with the Rio Rancho team.

We've left our dog with Pet Paradise on several occasions for several days while on vacation. We were concerned because Max was previously a one on one care dog... After several lessons with our dog trainer (Paige from K9 Creations) and a few play days at Pet Paradise, Max has been able to socialize with the dog groups at the dog parks and here at Pet Paradise. Max loves this facility and we will continue to use Pet Paradise for play days and secure boarding when we are away. Staff is very friendly and they answer question quickly. Managers return calls, Antonio has been very helpful also. Thanks

The grooming is pretty good, there are lots of options available for overnight stays and the daycare is very nice! Ngl, watching them play all day through the available cameras is so much fun.

I usually don’t write reviews and this is my first time at dog daycare. All I have to say is the front desk help and the overall vibe of this place was absolutely beautiful. I was made feel so comfortable and they were so accommodating and flexible with my schedule. I was here after a terrible front desk experience at campbowwow and that place seemed so confined and with care takers like that I would not trust my dog with them. I am glad I made my visit to pet paradise and I feel these guys are the best in town.

Update 1-3-2020We continue to be really happy with Pet Paradise! Can someone please convince them to open a site in NE Albuquerque so we can stop driving more than thirty minutes to get to their kennel?!?!? =)It's a big deal to leave your dogs when you leave the house for vacations or work trips, and we actually end up paying for an extra night of boarding just because we like PP so much and it helps us get out the door if the doggies are situated the day before. There are kennels that are closer to our house, but we've been very impressed with the level of expertise and care.Part of what makes me feel comfortable leaving our pups there is that I know they get really good playtime, so they're getting to burn off their young dog energy. It's nice that a significant amount of playtime is included in the boarding fee!They also pay attention to details, such as asking if your dogs need to be separated at mealtime. Our older dog is food possessive, so this issue was something I was concerned about. I didn't even have to bring it up on my own!Our dogs always seem happy when they get to Pet Paradise, which I take as a really good sign. We're going to try the take-home bath service, since it's hard to bathe large doggies well in the middle of winter. It'll be their first time getting a bath out of our house/yard, so I'll write an update. The prices for the basic bath seem reasonable.

Very good boarding and grooming services for dogs. On the administrative side of things, this business is horrible. They do not pick up the phone during work hours, send invoices you can't pay on-line (because their website doesn't work), and do not return voicemail calls. Clearly a poorly managed business when it comes to the basics of interacting with customers.

Boarded our 2 dogs together for 5 days and they did great! One of our pups has bad allergies so they called us. They had called all over to see what vets were open and offered to take our dog to a vet if we liked. How nice of them! Watched the dogs play on the cameras sometimes and they always seemed happy and healthy. Competitive pricing too, will board there again!

I was working from our of state and I had my 4 month old furbaby with me. I didn't want her to be stuck in the hotel all day so I called around. They were able to fit me in the very next morning (a Friday). The first visit is complimentary and they did great with her. I was even able to get her nails done when she was there. Very friendly staff and clean facilities. I will be back if I'm in that part of NM again.

I and my pups are so happy with what we receive from Pet Paradise. I feel they are always upbeat and user friendly. They always seem to be so helpful and wanting to give the best care from receiving to pick up of my dogs. They recommend offers to enhance their stay in both day camp and boarding. For the price and service given there, I believe they’re the best! It helps to know their employee turn over is also low indicating happy campers inside and out!

My dog goes to daycare every weekday due to separation anxiety while I’m at work. The staff is kind, helpful, and professional and my pup always has a good time. They also have video cameras of the different play areas so you can check on your friend during the day.It’s a 5-star business. I only took off one because it’s not super affordable.

I had my german shepherd puppy stay and I loved it. This was her first time being boarded and I feel like she did really well. When I picked her up she was happy not scared at all and everyone seemed to know her. I appreciated the updates and pictures. I liked the amenities and the tour. Will definitely use Pet Paradise again.

The staff at Pet Paradise is incredibly caring and professional. I was taking my girl here for awhile shortly after I adopted her. As she settled in to being adopted and her routine at home, she started having issues in day camp. The staff's response was amazing. They notified me of the issues and assured me it was ok. They worked with her when it was safe for other dogs and humans. It is clear how much they love the animals in their care and how much they want all the animals to have a positive experience. Unfortunately, after a few months of trying, we mutually decided that day camp wasn't for her. It's no one's fault; it's just who she is and that's ok. They refunded the remaining sessions I had purchased and let me know she is always welcome there to board or for 1:1 playtime. If you have a social dog, I would 100% recommend day camp and would recommend them for boarding regardless of how social the dog is.

Called in my reservation as it was 2 dogs sharing one king suite. The girl got it right. Prices were super, a discount for 2 dogs in one suite. The food was gone even the fresh carrots. While happy to be home they were healthy and safe at a great price.

We had always appreciated the service at Pet Paradise for our 2 dogs. Everyone was so friendly and obviously animal lovers, our boys seemed very happy when we would pick them up from a boarding stay. This was until a situation occurred on Sunday, August 2, 2020 right before we were to leave town. When I made reservations, they reminded me of which vaccines were not up to date. I made a Vet appointment to get these done before we were leaving town. Well, the Vet forgot to give one of the vaccines they were scheduled for. Pet Paradise told us that for a $50 fee, they could transport the dogs for this missed vaccine. Not wanting to pay the $50, I told them that I had someone who could take them for that one vaccine the next day. With that, on the spot, they refused to board the dogs (which also was to include grooming for both of them). They agreed to take them overnight if I agreed to have them to take the dogs for the shot, but not if I arranged for someone to take them! We were left high and dry, on our way out of town, for a 2 day trip long planned and much needed! I gave a 3 star rating for previous good service provided. We will not use them again, nor will we recommend their services again. You just don't do people this way!!
