DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! Absolutely a waste of time and the most unprofessional business operation with constant cancellations and staff no shows. Third time I have taken time off work to get to my appointment on time and be their ready with our pet, only for their groomer to be a no-show. They have lost our business forever. Obviously things like this happen but when it repeatedly occurs with a repeat client due to family members that are not dependable as the hired staff- maybe it is time to start hiring employees outside of the family? Additionally, when staff no shows happen- why not offer to discount or even a free grooming for a rescheduled appointment, especially after three employee/groomer no shows? Clearly there is no concern for the customer's time and loss of money (due to time taken off work) or a plan in place as a solution to keeping a client when issues like this occur on their end. This business has a lack of employees and dependable staff. They call the day before to confirm you will show up to the appointment but continually don't follow through on their end.

From the staff at Pet Palace: Today a customer came in whose dog we groomed on the 4th of November. It had a new injury on its neck..The dog was so severely matted it took the groomer an hour to get the matter hair off before the bath. The dog had not been groomed In 7 months. Last time she complained because we had to shaved the ears so the groomer worked gently and the dog had long flowing ears when it left with a stunning top knot. The lady refused to pay the full price! Today amidst her threats we refunded her money and tried to explain she might try brushing the dog. She left our shop with hateful threats . We love our animals and are blessed to do a job we love. Occasionally you have someone that will not appreciate your hard work. But we will not quit loving our pets or loving our job..more than the cost of one groom..

Fluffy is seven years old. She went there like she was looking like a bear. She’s a husky wolf well she looks beautiful right now. She had a pile of hair on the floor of fluffy‘s. Thank you for making my fluffy husky wolf look beautiful.

I have always had a excellent experience with our dog grooming! Our pups come out looking excellent. We have been loyal customers for over 3 years and never had any issues with staff. I have seen the posts w the negative comments but perhaps the groomer was having a bad day or dog suddenly moved. Everyone makes mistakes and depending on how you address the situation, you get a appropriate response. I still recommend them, despite all the negative remarks! 5 stars 😊

Pet palace is not a place to take older dogs. I took my 17 year old shitzu this morning and they called an hour later saying he was finished. When I went to pick him up I was told the fee would be double and the next time would be even more because he “moves around a lot and you have to take it slow.” Remember, he is 17 years old and completely blind. They show no sympathy for older dogs who still need to be taken care of and deserve to be treated fairly just like any puppy. My poor guy left traumatized. I’m not looking for him to come out cuter after a hair cut, I just want him to be comfortable in his golden years. The hair cut and bath were not up to par. Wouldn’t risk taking another dog to this establishment.

Thank you Pet Palace for doing such a great job grooming my Collie today! They did such a great job brushing out all of her winter coat that I thought they had trimmed her! But no, that is her new coat coming in. They really did a beautiful job and she came home happy, not stressed, and so much cooler for the summer. They must have treated her great for her to be so calm. I would totally recommend this place!

I have two dogs that were severely matted and have had bad experiences at other grooming places. This place slowed down and took their time with them and this is the first time they haven’t been stressed when I brought them home from the groomer. I would highly recommend this place. They made my dogs and I feel comfortable. My dogs generally don’t like new people and my dogs took to the people working here like they were already friends. I’m definitely going back here from now on.

I took my dog in to get his nails trimmed and I can honestly say that I was more than pleased with the amount of time it took for such a great job! Most excellent customer service! Glad I found them, I'd recommend them in a heartbeat! I'll be back!!

If you love your pet DO NOT take them here. I took my 8 Month old, German Shepherd- Border Collie mix for a de shedding, on Friday and she came home traumatized, with sores all over her body, under her fur. Either from abrasive grooming or improper cleansing, leading to a skin reaction. Literally. A vet diagnosed it. We are now having to work on confidence building exercises to bring her out of her funk. After contacting them they said they used nothing but a baby brush, and offered no condolence, or idea as to what might have happened. My dog did not return with the same spirit and we are devastated. Had they offered to examine her to determine whether or not her wounds were grooming related, and if so how to treat it. We would have appreciated that at the very least. Or said your dog is too nervous, she’s not ready to be groomed, would have sufficed. Instead they went forth aggressively grooming my pup. I advise you to please reconsider taking your pet here. I understand risks associated with taking your pet to the groomers, but never expected to have had the experience we did. I’m very disappointed and sad to leave my first ever bad review, but feel it’s so necessary to warn others.

After a 7-hour wait with no telephone updates, I was worried. I will not be taking my dog back to this place. Also, the lady commented I am not very nice anyways after charging me $5 more than usual. I have been coming to Anne for over 5 years and to be treated like this is not professional. I requested the owner call me to discuss this issue. If I could I would only give 0 stars.

I DO NOT recommend this place!!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET PLEASE DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!!!! They are EXTREMELY rough with your fur babies! Someone got their dog back today (7-25-2020) with a missing nail, the poor dog has been bleeding all day. The owner of the dog called and asked to speak to the owner of the shop and they were extremely disrespectful. They told them they were "over reacting" about a nail and hung up on them. Please dont bring your pets here!

I am so DISGUSTED right now, that I am beside myself! First of all, I decided to take all 3 of my dogs to Pet Palace because I had one friend that recommended it. I should've listened to the tons of people that didn't!!! First off, I was quoted around 110$ for all 3 dogs (because 2 of them only needed baths, and 1 needed a shave). Instead of 110$ or less, I walked out paying close to 200$. Secondly, how is it, that my oldest lab (who is 12), who has been to multiple groomers in her lifetime, both in Colorado and NM, always comes home happy and excited but this time, not only did she not come home, happy and excited, she puked all over the house, along with my other dogs. What the hell is going on there people? My dogs are my children and I DO NOT recommend this dog grooming place to anyone who cares about their animals.5/30/2013 Another review...So after everything I went through with Pet Palace, I noticed a day later, that one of my dogs groomed at Pet Palace had a 3 1/2 inch by 2 inch cut on her hind leg close to her belly. Her coat was shaved so close to the skin, that the skin was bald and bloody. I didn't realize until I noticed my dog was constantly licking that spot and I checked. I called the BBB and after a month, Pet Palace refused to reply to the complaint. Also, within three days, my other dog that was groomed at Pet Palace became so sick, I thought she was going to die. Something is going on at Pet Palace. STAY AWAY!!!

My dog Bruno is a known pain in the butt, especially when trying to get his feet done. Previous groomers have not been able to deal with him. These guys are able to manage him, they do a great job, and the price is right. I couldnt be happier with them.

Starfox is a beautiful dog. He looks as good as any show dog after a trip to Pet Palace. We have some specific requests for grooming our dog. These guys do not make you feel guilty for have standards. Thank you ladies.

I took my little shih Tzu Gizmo there to get groomed, and I have to say Miss Desiree did an amazing job I love her customer service more importantly I love how she took care of Gizmo. I will refer people there and especially to Desiree thank you again for the wonderful work you do!

I just had my Toy Yorkie groomed for the first time and I feel that they did a great job with her considering it was her first haircut ever plus the price was very inexpensive for the work that they did. I only wish they would have given her a pretty bow or bandana or something to make her look even cuter, but even so, I am very pleased

Apparently they think cutting your dogs whole nail off is "no big deal." Just advised to put peroxide on it and it would be fine... Sent animal home bleeding with no attempt to make it right or offer a refund. If u care about ur pets, I suggest u take them somewhere else.

I took my Cocker Spaniel in a week ago and they did the best grooming on him. They are all so friendly & price was awesome. I will be going here with my other Cocker spaniel soon. You girls are the best.

I took my baby Cory to get his first cut and they did an amazing job. I tried cutting his hair myself and butchered it and they fixed it right up! I will definitely be back!

I took my two pups here. I dropped them off at 8:00 a.m. they called me at 2:30 to let me know they would be done at 3:00. When I got there they were still not done. When I got home I noticed one of my pups had been nicked a couple of times .but they never mentioned it and his cut was sloppy. I can't rec8this business anymore.

NEVER NEVER again! When I went in to pick up our little princess they wanted to charge me approx. $15 MORE than what was agreed to....because "she was hard to handle". First, hello, she's a dog. Did you expect her to sit there and not move? Second, there was a bunch of kids running around inside the grooming area!!! How could expect a dog to sit still when there's kids IN the area AND...when a dog isn't used to children?!?!?! If I knew there'd be kids in there I wouldn't have brought my dog in there! They didn't even groom her face at all....and cut a nail or two down way too far! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!

I've had nothing but good experiences with my shih tzu. The hours are limited, but they are always able to accommodate last minute bookings and my pupper comes home relaxed (he gets stressed out at other grooming places).
