We have been coming to Pet Food Gone Wild since they opened and Panda and my wife and I love it! The pet washing stations were a big draw for us initially. The quality products and staff kept us coming back!Pet Food Gone Wild serves and supports the customer and the community. The staff and owner are always extremely informative, helpful and friendly! The curbside service was much needed and appreciated during the covid debacle.I appreciate the conservative and pro-business views of management; for instance I was able to sign "the Not My Kid NM" petition regarding gender modification to public school children in New.Keep it up Pet Food Gone Wild!

This business apparently told my family that I would need to find another nail trim place because I reported that my dog acted odd after seeing one of their other "heavy-handed" groomers (I think I said she "didn't like her" because that is how she communicates that) and that she urinated during the visit. My dog has never had an issue with one specific groomer and when her schedule conflicted with my new schedule, I voiced frustration and told the staff that my family would have to contact them to schedule an appointment. When my family contacted them, the owner reported we were no longer welcome because "of what I said about a groomer" but gave no further information. Try to act like your business is customer-service based and that these animals are our family and we are allowed to voice that they don't like how certain people act with them. There is nothing wrong with this, there were other options which I gladly accepted. My dog has anxiety which requires a certain finesse with her treatment and most animal-center/customer service-center businesses understand this. I have never had an issue in almost 20 years of having a dog with anxiety. I never was rude about the staff, I only reported that I disliked how my dog acted after seeing one and that I preferred to remain with our usual groomer. I was willing to wait longer to get in with her, alter my schedule if I needed to, and I always tipped. I thought about contacting them for more clarification in hopes that this was a misunderstanding but I feel from a customer service point of view, if the owner felt there was an issue this severe, they could have reached out to me directly for clarification. 0/5 customer service with no loyalty to the customer's satisfaction or our preference to whom we'd rather our pets have contact. I recommend it if you would like this same experience but I personally put my girl's best interest before all else. I will gladly seek out a reasonable and local business that understands my concerns and will also put my girl's best interests at the forefront.Response to the owner's reply:"The other one" was used as wording because there were two groomers on staff: a new groomer and the young lady that I was referring to in my initial post that my puppy didn't interact well with. This was by no means discrimination or derogatory. I tell the staff every time I call that I cannot remember anyone's names so I just have them look up "the last one she saw" and that is how I schedule my appointments. I visit so infrequently for nail trims that I can't remember their names. This is exactly why it is important to contact a customer to request more information on a negative interaction instead of assuming and misinterpreting. I appreciate the response but I wanted to make it clear about your assumption of my wording. I hope you do better with future customers and learn from this missed opportunity.

I get our dog food as well as dog bones here! It is great because it is so close to my house so it is a simple trip! Everyone is so helpful and nice there! You get free dog food after so many bags and I have gotten free treats and also a free bone which was awesome! Support a local business and check then out!! The pic below is our dogs favorite bones! No rawhide and keep the dogs busy for hours and hours.

Thank you Pet Food Gone Wild for always taking care of all of our grooming needs. Sam has a great rapport with them and is very patient with my energetic sheepadoodles. They have had some fussy tummies and the staff and Susana got them on the the perfect food and have not had issues since. Bradshaw and Lu Lu would be a mess without you and the team there. I'm not sure his name but I came in about a week ago. He spent a good 30 min with me explaining the differences of the food issues for my Hugo who has had skin issues that could be related to the many foods we've tried. He went over supplements that might help him and even went over the changes to measurements between our current food vs what we could be using with switching to more of a more stable diet. He gave advice about his own puppy who has similar issues that helped his dogs as well. I sure hope he does well in this industry and continues to be a part of PFGW. Thank you Susana and your team!

I love this store! All the staff are so friendly and helpful. And if you're looking for a groomer for your dog, I believe they offer the best grooming service in Rio Rancho. Jennifer was wonderful with our Corgi, and she looks beautiful! The entire place is so clean and squared-away. Thank you so much, Pet Food Gone Wild!

I want to say thank you to Sam the groomer at Pet Food Gone Wild. She did an OUTSTANDING job on my Miniature Schnauzer Bronson ð she took such special care of my little man. This is a wonderful place to buy great food for your pet. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful in choosing foods for your pet. Their recommendations for my cat 4 yrs ago saved his life and turned his health around. He is now 16 years old. Definitely give th a try! I now buy my puppy good there too!

Update: I just wanted to say that I still love this place and the staff are amazing.I visited this place for the first time this evening and the staff were amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. They spent time answering all my questions. Sure does beat all the big chain pet stores. I will definitely be back.

Staff seems very knowledgeable. I generally don't shop at specialty pet food places but I was impressed with their knowledge and the assistance I got finding a food for my puppy with an intolerance for the food I usually buy. If I have to buy fancy food I'd much rather support this local business and maybe learn a thing or too about keeping my dogs as healthy as possible.

I brought a traumatized rescue pup here to be groomed. I had taken her to another place where they gave me back a shivering bruised dog! But the first time Jennifer took 3 1/2 hours patiently grooming a dog with serious PTSD. In subsequent visits she pinpointed injuries and gave me tips on how to help this poor little dog, where to massage her injured spine, how to help her mistrust, what to do during her episodes. I followed all of her advice. Three years later here she is about to get groomed again, by Duncan for the second time (he's great!) and I completely trust him and anyone else on this staff. I am taking them a happy twirly tail wagging nut (great friend of mine) knowing they hand me back a dog that is relaxed, missed me, but wants to say good bye to a friend she made. That means a lot. Plus she is all cute and clean again. I would not take her anywhere else.

We've been getting canned cat food here for our finicky eaters for almost a year, now. They have a great assortment of canned food and our "turn-up-their-noses-at-just-about-everything" cat connoisseurs have become very "satisfied" with most of their fish/seafood products. The people who work here are very friendly and nice and it's never a bad feeling, coming here. Thanks for the Christmas tunes!

Weâve been bringing our dogs for grooming and buying their food here since we moved to NM two years ago. Have always had a great experience at this locally-owned shop, until today. Apparently our groomer is no longer working there and they didnât have the courtesy to notify their customers in advance. When I showed up for our dogsâ appointment today, I was greeted by a new person and assumed they were a helper and our normal groomer was in the back getting ready. When I asked if they were in back, I was told they no longer work here. I spoke with one of the people the up front about it, but they just got defensive and told me I could do whatever I felt I needed to do. So, what I feel I need to do is let others know how this business treats their loyal customers and take my business elsewhere.

I will never go to a chain pet food store ever again! This small business has a knowledgeable staff, is always clean, well stocked and all the employees are so nice and just all around amazing. One of the best small businesses I've ever been to. My sister-in-law uses the do it yourself grooming stations and has always been very satisfied with their business as well.

Showed up at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon for a dog wash and was turned away because they were cleaning both of their tubs during business hours. Didn't close until 4pm. Was told I could come back tomorrow.... won't be back!Web site says the tubs close at 3pm on Saturday-

I love this place! Quality service, and quality products for your dogs. I recently took my English bulldog, Toro here for a bath. He got the full works, including the D shedding treatment. He was taken with care and consideration for his breed.I was very satisfied with his end result. After his session with Sam, he came back to me soft and shiny, And hardly any after shed! Ireally appreciate how knowledge everyone is, and truly has interest and concern for the animals they work with.I was also able to find some quality treats for the doggies with help from the staff. Everyone was welcoming, made Toro felt comfortable, which made me feel comfortable! Would highly recommend if you are needing grooming service or food/treats for your pets.

First time in this store. I came seeking advice for a diet concerning my Yorkipoo who has heart disease. The owner spent a lot of time with and gave me samples of food and supplements that would be good for my dog. I love out of state and she told me that she would help me fine a good pet food supplier where I live.
