ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN TOWN!! I've been to Red River for years. My whole life really and I must say this is definitely a must go. Some of the best staff in the state. Food is the best. The burgers are to die for, and the fries are a must. The brewery is right down the road and Shotgun Willie's is way better. There is a big chance your life is going to change after you eat here. This has become a must stop place for us every year.

Super great place for local hamburgers and other great menu items. I had the chili and it was Texas style. When they said “chili,” they didn’t ask, “Red or Green.”Besides hamburgers and chili, they also had catfish. That is what my son ordered and he loved it. The place was crowded, but that was to be expected since we were there for the Red River Family Encampment… which means there were tons of people there as well. They had take-out if we wanted to take the food back to our condo… but since there were only two of us, we found a seat. Lucky us!You know this place has to be good when the local law enforcement frequent the place even though it was crowded. Great to meet the Red River Marshals.

Small but mighty! We came here for lunch because everything else in town, according to Google, is closed on Wednesdays. We loved the food! Portions were large; ladies you might want to split a meal with a friend.I had the loaded fries with chopped brisket, my husband had the loaded potato with chopped brisket, our son had the chicken strips with french fries and a side order of tater tots. Everything had a really great flavor and we were all extremely full!I’d definitely put this on our “visit again” list. Until next time…

Cute little home cooking spot. Husband loved his biscuits with gravy and sausage. My French toast was good, could have used a longer soak in the batter. My bacon tasted kind of old.Would go back and would recommend for breakfast.

Ate at Shotgun Willie's our first two days in Red River! Food was amazing service was great!!! What really got me was the friendliness of every single Employee I talked too. Went walking down to Chalet at about 6am on Thanksgiving day and guy was out by smoker offered me a coffee even though they weren't open yet. Then Taylor was great when getting our order even the gentleman who was going to Disneyland after the holiday. Most people would be complaining about working g on Thanksgiving . Not a single one was and thank you all for the great food and service!

Worst dining experience EVER!! If I could give it zero stars I would. Employee at the cash register was extremely rude and when I told her my order was incorrect, she informed me the missing items on the loaded baked potato were included. Then the cook yells out that the order only said “chicken” on it. I got up and told him I asked for cheese and butter also, and then he rudely said “okay, okay”. When I got my order the fajita chicken in the baked potato wasn’t even fully cooked. Awful food!! Absolutely worst place I’ve EVER eaten. Not a good way to start my first visit to Red River! Hope the rest of the local business employees aren’t as rude as these folks.

Shogun Willie's is a great little place, centrally located in Red River. Prices are about what you expect in a tourist town but the food is excellent. You can also save your cups and get free refills for your entire stay.

This place is a must stop in Red River. Pictured with my review is the fully loaded baker with chopped brisket (delicious) extra cheese and added onions. The potato was so large I couldn't even finish it. Fair warning, this place was very busy when we went for lunch and the potatoes are there until they run out for the day. But they got our food out quickly and our bellies were full.

Shotgun Willie’s is our favorite place to eat whenever we are in Red River. Don’t let the long lines fool you…the line moves fast. We love the Willie’s breakfast: 2 eggs any way, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy and a drink for $10. We are fans of the lunch menu here, too. The service is fast and friendly and the price is right! The best place to eat in Red River!

Not a large place but the folks seemed to really liked it. Good line that moved fairly quickly. Basic meals but good tasting. My group had the Turkey and Chicken Fajita wraps, chicken finger platter, cheesy tots, and chili cheese fries. Had to try this place after walking by in the early morning and smelling their smoker.

This place is only open for breakfast and lunch, so you need to plan accordingly. On my vacation, I had lunch one day, and breakfast another day. This is good, basic home cooking style food. Their prices are great, their portions are generous, and the couple that owns the place are just wonderful people. I got to meet their toddler son - that's how homey it is there. This is clearly a place that the locals eat at. There is no touristy vibe - just regular people going about their day. That's always nice to find in a mountain town. This place is a must if you are staying in or near Red River, NM.

This burrito is to absolutely die for. The sauce, is almost a food group of it's own. Last visit here, I bought 10 and brought them home with me. If I could get them shipped home, I'd buy them by the dozen.

Super pet friendly! Staff amazing. Food fresh and tasty. Location on point. Parking can be difficult to find but if you're not opposed to walking, this place is definitely worth dining at.Parking: About 8-10 cars on the side of business.

Definitely get the breakfast burrito and have it smothered. The Green chile sauce is spicy and great with the big ole' breakfast burrito. Best breakfast in Red River. Get there early!
