My family took a trip up last weekend and we felt like we were living in a Hallmark movie. Billy was an amazing host and just a very kind person. The location was perfect! Right across was a park covered with Christmas lights. The room was clean and perfect for a get away.Rooms: The room was perfect for my family. It is a little dated but it wasn't a big deal.Nearby activities: There is skiing right down the road for those ski and behind the hotel is a river that runs through town.Noteworthy details: There is a gift shop in the lobby and they are so friendly. Everything is within walking distance. While you stroll through town you can see deer all around.

Had a flat on a road trip and the tire shop sent us to Billy here for an overnight stay. The folks were super friendly, the rate was surprisingly affordable, and we had an unexpectedly fun time waiting for the new tires to come in. It was nice to have a kitchenette, the room was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed walking to the brewery and grocery store just down the street. We had no idea Red River existed, and we're already talking about coming back someday. We're finally on the road again, and grateful for the unexpectedly fun time we had while waiting for the tires to deliver. Thank you!!

Billy is always the best and treats you like family! We love Lifts West! We’ve stayed here since 1995 and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Right in the middle of town and being right next to the brewery is a huge plus! On the busy weekends you can walk next door put your name on the brewery list and enjoy waiting in your room.

My fiance and I absolutely love this place. We stay here every time we visit Red River which is once a year, and he has been staying here since he was a child. The manager Billy has great service and always gets us into a nice room. Even at times we have tried to book a room around Christmas when it's very busy he has managed to get us a room! The condos are warm, cozy, and spacious with beautiful south western/ mountain decor. Lifts West provides wood for your fireplace for the rooms that have one. There is also many shops, a very large fireplace and excellent restaurant (Brett's Bistro) in the main building.

The best place to stay in Red River. Centrally Located, Owner/Manager is super kind and fair on prices he doesn’t price gouge! We also love their underground parking when we’re on our motorcycles.

Our condo was lovely and the owners really thought out how to utilize all the space. Great kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. Lots of hooks in the bathroom and hallway for, clothes, coats and towels. The even had clothes pins in a jar inthe kitchen we used for chip clips. An airfare, crock pot, blender, casserole dishes. It was clean had a great fireplace and the condo even supplied the firewood. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Red River now that I have stayed in Unit 215. Vacasa manages it and Michael their operations manager even stopped by to make sure everything was OK and see if we had any questions. They treated us like royalty. I will vacation with them from now on. Thanks Vacasa!

Rooms and hotel lobby look the same after 30 years. Could use some serious upgrades. No information given about wood in the parking garage or they give out fire starters. Got that information from another guest. The parking garage smelled like sewer, overall average for the price. Nothing special.

We went to Red River on a weekend ski trip with friends who had stayed there before they always stay at Lifts West because they always have a great experience so we stayed too. This place has beautiful wood decor and a big fire place it was amazing. The rooms were a bit cramped only because the one we stayed in was a partial room locked off from the bigger room the king sized bed took up the majority of the room. There was a small hallway and a bathroom. Even though the rooms were a little small I would stay here again solely based on the staff. This place is pretty cool! Huge fireplace in the lobby is perfect for warming yourself and photo ops. The store and restaurant downstairs is super convenient! Rooms are nice, full mini kitchen and two rooms with king size beds and a bathroom in each. F-1 is the room we were in. These condos are perfectly located within walking distance of the Copper and Gold lifts. Surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars...a park across the street for the family. Love this town! Watch for promos on lift tickets!

Great location in central Red River, you do everything in town from here. It's basically ski in and ski out in the winter, while in the summer it's a perfect home base. Lots of shops and places to eat as well. Depending on the owner, the room accommodations will vary, but all are nice.

The unit we stayed in had recently been remodeled, with new carpet and furniture. The kitchen was fully stocked with an abundant assortment of pots and pans. The hotel provides free wood for the fireplace. The manager was super helpful. The condos are centrally located next door to the grocery store and the platinum lift.We will be staying here again.

Clean, comfortable room located in the center of town. Granted Red River isn't huge but, it's still nice! Appears that most rooms have a good view of either the ski slope side the mountain, or town and the surrounding mountains.

Great place to stay while at Red River. Billy, Carmen and Juan were very nice and accommodating . This place is within walking distance of everything in town. Will definitely be returning to Lift West when we come back to Red River. Thank ya'll for a memorable stay.

Walking distance to everywhere, and we had a 2 bedroom with living room with lots of windows and views. Our larger group made good use of the big lobby fireplace. Garage parking was also a big plus.

The old lady at the front desk is extremely rude. While shopping inside of this hotel and purchasing coffee inside, my 6 year old needed the restroom. While waiting for her to finish up, the old lady at the front desk came out yelling at us (and getting in our faces) that the restrooms were not public restrooms. The restrooms had no trashes or paper towels so it was a pretty poor excuse of a restroom for the hotel if it was truly a private restroom, off limits to patrons. This is one hotel I will never stay at.

Dirty, old food in the fridge, the tub was filthy was uncomfortable using, the towels were dirty even had someone else's hair, the pull out sofa had blood and boogers on it. Do not stay here stay somewhere cleaner. They only reason for the 2 star review is the bed was very comfortable.

Really nice clean rooms. The walls are a little thin though. It's really close to the lifts so you won't have to drive once you get to the hotel. Good coffee shop downstairs.

Its always been the most cozy condominium in Red River ever since i've lived here. The main entrance leads straight into a very nice and roomy lounge area with a gigantic fire pit and several comfort couches anyone is welcome. The toilets in the bathrooms are rockin as well.

If you're in Red River NM, you have to ride the lifts. A lot higher than it looks but worth the ride.30 minutes up and 30 minutes down. Elevation is well over ten thousand. Cafe at the top of the mountain has good burgers.

Awesome place to just go and have fun or take a chill ride up the slopes. They also have grass tubing during the summer so it's great for the kids. They have a hangline obstacle course too which looks terrifyingly fun.

Very friendly staff. The room was a small but the bed was comfortable. Restroom was also a little to small.. A lot of good stores and restaurants around it.
