Old dude and i lost my phone in a snow storm. Felicia took lots of time and patience (2+hours) to set up my new phone. Very polite. Very professional. She deserves a medal. Its hard because most small towns are indirect distributors for verizon and cant access all info. She worked hard to get my stuff organized.

Store hours on line are wrong. This store used to be good with people who knew what they were doing. The service now is as sketchyas the hours. Been there several times no one is in the office.

We recently visited this store to get my husband a new phone. The lady working was very sweet and helpful. She was new, but she was still able to get us set up with our new phone. I was impressed with how she handled being under pressure being new and not having much help.

Update 10/26/2021: Picked up my new phone and had no issues. Aaron G. Was very helpful and knowledgeable. Had my new phone set up promptly. Would not hesitate to use the store again. Recommended.Original review 10/28/2021: 1star. Terrible! Random odds to find them open at all. Two separate days have gone out of my way only to find them closed during their business hours. Call to headquarters does nothing. Verizon should be ashamed to be associated with Russell’s.

I went into this Verizon store (not my local store) to hopefully get a phone fixed. Unfortunately, my problems required me to upgrade to a new phone, but Marie was very helpful and friendly. Great customer service! While I was there, some of her ‘regular’ customers came in and it was obvious that she has a good rapport with her customers, as well.

My phone was having a meltdown. I called Russel‘s Verizon and April answered. She told me to come down immediately. When I arrived I was greeted with courtesy and she promptly helped solve my iPhone issues. She was very cordial and had a good sense of humor. She was able to not only work on my phone but assist other staff in the store with their questions. April is a very personable employee and an asset to the business.

Marie is awesome! She Helped me even though the store was getting ready to close at 7pm. Showed me different options & was knowledgeable about what would work best for me. Marie is a life saver & helped me when my phone decided to give up on me. Thank you so much 💓

Wendy and to have my phone and charger checked period was waited on by Ariana Gonzalez. She was very friendly and ever so helpful and even help me to see what was going on with my plan and to make it a little more inexpensive for me. The people at this store are always courteous and almost always knowledgeable even when I don't even know the questions to ask.

SCAM ALERT11/10/21 walked in to the Raton New Mexico store and greeted by Aaron G to just ask a question about our IPhone 11’s. After some conversation Aaron G said there was a promotion on the 13’s for $100 each. Being seniors and on a fixed income we don’t get the newest and best but went to the truck to get my wife. She came in and he told her of the promotion. He further stated that our bill wouldn’t go up from $135 if we paid for the phones. We talked and agreed. Aaron did the paperwork and when signing I questioned the finance charge of $1720. He told us once our 11’s were received the promotion would be activated and it would take 8 weeks.Upon talking to our son he told us he couldn’t find that promotion and it may be just in Raton NM where we were.11/13/21 I called Beverly Leon Verizon customer service to verify the promotion, She verified it would take up to 8 weeks for promotions to be reflected on our bill.02/03/22 Contacted Melony Verizon customer service concerning the promotion as our bill was now well over $200 and to be $135. We spent well over an hour on the phone and she couldn’t find any such promotion. She informed me to contact Russell Cellular the third party who offered the promotion and ask what the promotion was called.02/03/22 contacted Reann at Russell Cellular Resolution Customer Support. She told me she’d reach out to Russell Celluar District Mgr Troy and he’d call me.02/04/22 several calls and finally DM Troy called me and I gave him the date and asked DM Troy what the name of the promotion was per Melony at Verizon. He said he wished he could tell me but it wasn’t that easy. He said he’d have Aaron G who offered the promotion to us call us.02/07/22 Melony, Verizon CS called me back stating she’d send this up to a Verizon supervisor as she couldn’t find any such promotion.02/11/22 called Reann Russell Resolution Customer Support as I haven’t heard anything. She said she’d have the Regional Mgr call me. Received a call I thought was a Regional Manager but it turned out to be a store employee, Chris. Chris stated Aaron G hadn’t worked there in months, followed by “Sounds like you got shammed” No such promotion.(Wow DM Troy said Aaron would call me, Apparently he’s unaware of who works for him as Aaron apparently has been gone for months.)02/17/22 called Russell Cellular Kaley who said she’d work this up with Verizon. She said she’d look into this with her team, looking at notes and get a three way call with DM Troy. Further she’d get a Credit Request form from DM Troy looking for a paper trail and will call me back.No call back.02/28/22 called Steven, Russell Cellular Resolution Customer Support. He informed me they were still waiting on the “Credit Request” Due to weather he was the only one there and would leave a message on both Reann and Kaleys desk to call me with an update. No return call.Between 02/28 and 03/31 many calls to Verizon which fell on deaf ears.03/31/22 called Steven, Russell Cellular and asked about the Credit Request from Troy. He stated “No Credit due to the lack of Evidence”03/31/22 Received call from Russell Cellular DM Troy - No Resolution03/31/22 Went to Corporate Verizon Store Covington LA to return phones and they wouldn’t take them back stating I have to deal with the Third Party Russell Cellular.Spoke to numerous at Verizon to resolve this SCAM by a Aaron G at Russell cellular Raton NM with no resolution.04/01/22 cancelled Service with Verizon due to SCAM by Russell Cellular Employee Aaron G.Warning, Verizon will Not help with Third party “Verizon Authorized -Russell Cellular stores” in the event you are SCAMMED.ZERO Stars if it was allowed. This was not a miscommunication but a straight out lie.

Amazing Staff, George the sales Associate was so helpful, and, understood our needs. We initially came to look at the Mifi sevice for home internet. i noticed the "HUM" device and asked about it. George then gave us a complete explanation of the service device an how it could benifit us. We Travel a lot and have two children one of whom is Special needs. George understood and took the time to go above and beyond our expectations. He was the only one who was there at the time we were setting up the Hum service onto our vehicle. He had to lock the store up and there were a couple who showed up and were so very rude to him and us. George was professional to these rude ppl and explained that as soon as he is done helping a customer with their needs he will gladly assist them. these ppl were irrate an I'm sure will complain. I cannot say more about the quality of service he and Nichole provided us. We were cautious on setting up new service but after all our questions were answered by George we gladly set up service with the "HUM". and George then said if we have any further questions to call the store and he will gladly help with anything we needed. So Great Service all around . we thank the owners of this store for hiring the two awesome sales ppl. We look foward to coming back to the store and getting two new Galxay Note 9 when we are able to. You have returning customers in us.

I've had numerous experiences with cellular employees that usually left me nonplussed in the past. The Verizon branch here in Raton is miles above in customer service and empathy. The representatives here are chill, experienced without the sneer of being jaded, and excellent at representing product and service with professionalism. I'm so proud that something this wonderful still exists in our dusty town.

Was turned down for not having a permanent address in Raton. Later a last bill became also required. Appealing only made the ladies uncomfortable. A large part of this town gets its mail from post office boxes which are not permanent yet have Verizon service. So the feeling of discrimination is pervasive to new comers. In the Times of cronid 19, not being flexible enough to consider the hardship of moving to Raton stands out as another reason there are so many dead businesses in a town that needs people
