It is a challenging time that we live in on almost every level. As I travel around the Southwest, I visit and purchase goods from a multitude of retail stores, not to mention restaurants and hotels. I'm 71 years-old and love my life. Tractor Supply is an important part of it because I live in touch with the land as a gardener, farmer, homesteader, and DIY guy.My primary home is near Tucson, Arizona and I shop at the Tractor Supply store in Catalina, just north of Tucson. To escape the heat after 50 years in AZ, I recently bought an old homestead in Folsom, NM and now shop at the Tractor Supply in Raton, NM, the nearest branch.This store is exceptional for several reasons and they all relate to the employee named MaryLou. I think that she is the manager and for all intents and purposes she truly is, no matter what. Every time I come to shop, there she is. I once lived the life of a manager and had 50 employees under my training and supervision. I know what a dedicated employee looks like and acts like. She is the one that Hal Lawton needs to know so that she can be acknowledged for her skill, company dedication, and plain old hard work. Gold.Employees like her just don't come any better. This store serves lots of local ranches as well as Raton and neighboring community homesteaders, big and small. I'm one of the latter and prize my ability to find just about anything that I need in this store.Yes, I love the local ACE hardware store, too, as well as Alpine Lumber, still, this store could probably be the last to survive and I'd be happy. The new-comer competition takes their place on the podium. First Place? You be the judge........

KUDOS TO STAFF... I get all my pet needs here and the staff always greets my cat warmly...I had to wait for a package and did not want to have it left on my porch.So I ordered on line for curbside pickup. I am very lucky for the staff and how well they know their customers. I accidentally did not order any pet food. Opps. Well the staff called me within 30ish minutes to confirm the order as it is not like me to get huge bags of cat food.So because of how caring and knowledgeable the staff is the cats did not have to go hungry.THANK YOU TRACTOR SUPPLY

We are always greeted with a smile. Very friendly professional staff! We almost always find what we need when we need it. It doesn't matter if it is for our household pets, car, chickens, crafts or just household things Marylou is a Blessing every time. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Love this store.

They have a bunch of stuff. Didn't have my pants' size in the whole store. I do know that the bones near the checkout are not liked by any dog I know.

I would love shopping here, but they are always either out of sales items or they never got them. It was the same with my online order. The manufacture carthart was out off bibs of my husbands size and instead of letting me know, they simply cancelled my order 3 times.

We had to use the bathroom one time and my brother was here visiting from Maryland. We went to the back of the store where the bathrooms were. It was locked and a note said to see the cashier. So we did. She said the owner of the store locked the bathroom because people were flushing packaging down the toilet and stealing whatever was in the packaging. My mother in law asked her if she thinks we would do that. She said no. She also said that they have to go to the hospital or gas station to use the bathroom. The cashier was just all around rude. I don't recommend going to that one. My mother in law was going to buy the dollar drinks there. She put them back and we walked out.

I have shopped at TSC all over the country. This store is clean and somewhat organized. I asked about an item that was out of stock when it would be coming in. No one could answer me. Prices are a tad high.

I was on my way to Colorado and stopped here for the bathroom. They have an extremely clean bathroom and nice toilet paper, best toilet paper I've ever had in a public restroom. 10/10 would pee here again.

Great selection of feed and supplies. Any animals needs can be fully met here. They sell fencing also. Tools, batteries, tires for misc. Equipment. They also have a wonderful selection of old fashioned candy.

The Tractor Supply in Raton New Mexico is not very large. They do carry quite a few items Fromm pet food including horses sheep goats chickens 2 candy and special sale items. They have an enclosed outside area for water tanks Etc and they sell pellets for pellet stoves trailers for utility tractors for lawn care and plants which include trees. We shop there often and always walk away satisfied.
