This was very convenient to the KOA across the road. Easy walk. It's nice to have since it is the only game in town.The store was stocked with more basics and little, on healthy. The meat section was average, and prices the expecte, above average.There was a small section with a few high-priced healthier options on the fresh produce isle. But don't expect much to choose from.The fresh produce is best gotten before the weekends as prices increased greatly by Thursday eve.Watch your receipt as prices posted are not always what you're charged.

This place is very unimpressive and not "discount" at all! The prices are high for what you get. Furthermore, I bought two packs of short ribs on June 12th and the 'sell by' date is listed for June 15th. Today I took both packages out of the fridge (on June 14th) and saw that the meat was turning green and smelled rotten. There $20+ down the toilet!! Very disappointing. I will not stop here again and will drive to Trinidad where at least the stores will make an effort to have fresh meat that won't poison you.

Always stop in to pick up doughnuts or cookies for customers and the store is always neat and tidy reminding me of the small town grocery store we shopped at as a kid. Two Thumbz 👍👍

Good customer service. We were over charged, the price on the shelf to register doubled. Sales seem to be awesome though! Most areas appeared very clean. We def would come back for specials. Some things with a normal price are just too high. One example I remember is the Oreos. Oh yeah, and we couldn't seem to find common things to support a vegan, like no cheese or pint icecreams. Thankful to find almond milk!

Unfriendly Mgr. I believe the name is Steve. Say good morning hello how are you. You will get no response. I think it starts there. Deli I don't recommend at all. Cold food and old you get ignored and a lot of arguing behind the counter. Awesome raw chicken if you like that kind.Needs to be inspected by a health inspector.Unsanitary

I’m no stranger to the higher prices of mountain towns, yet I still held my mouth agape as I walked through aisle after aisle of insane prices. How does anyone afford to shop here?Poorly laid out, gross carpet flooring, and high prices. The only good thing is that you can indeed purchase groceries here if you fork over your entire wallet.

Local Grocery Store offering a bakery that serves up fresh doughnuts, bread, cakes and various other pastries. As well as a deli that offers fresh sliced meats and cheeses as well as pasta salad, salsa, guacamole, potato salad and various other items as well as fried chicken, pizza, burritos, corn on the cob, rotisserie style chicken and a host of other hot items A fully stocked beer, wine and liquor department. And also a butcher department that prepares fresh meats and meal kits on a daily basis. They also offer a Western Union at the customer service desk. Shelves are always stocked and adequately priced groceries for the area. Staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. They also offer self checkout as well as cashiers. It's definitely worth a visit.

Management price gouges and fleece the poor people of this town knowing that we have no other place to shop.The majority of people in my town are on government assistance and they take full advantage of that.On a good note,The people that work there are very helpful when asked for assistance, and always glad to help.They are the reason why I gave them 3 stars, otherwise I'd have given them 2 stars.

The more I go here, the more I fall in love with it.They just seem to have a nice selection of most everything.The staff is very friendly. The prices are decent.I'm not sure what else one could ask for?I love that the store keeps up with the times and technology. They now have self-service checkout lanes and seem to be adding more. Those of us who stop by to just pick up a few things are whisked off on our way, quick and easy.If you have a cartful of groceries, no worry there, either. Friendly, smiling cashiers are there, ready to help!

Way to expensive! Economy is down but their prices go way up... sad thing. No delivery available either for disabled and/or elderly whom have no way to access fresh food. What a shame not supporting local residents and economy... 🤔😳😲

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Super save is the complete opposite of the situation. We got about 3/4 of a cart full of groceries which normally runs us about $200 for two people. So why then did this place charge us $400?! Absolutely insane. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN.

I am visiting Raton and was skeptical about this grocery store. Wow, was i mistaken! This is a very nice place with excellent, but not extensive, food choices. If you are looking for supplies this is the place. Highly recommended.

Freezers are fixed. They're pretty well stocked. The app seems to have all of the bugs worked out, and definitely helps with saving money...

I can't say much for the store itself, I rarely go in. But I can attest to one employee that works in the meat department. He has a bad habit of going out with married women. This self-proclaimed "man of God" has no regard for the people whos lives he disrupts in his escapades. I hope that the lady realtor's husband doesn't find out, (although I think he deserves to know what his wife is doing). That piece of s#*t will get his real soon. I say it makes Super Save look bad, really bad that they would employ such a lowlife, because there is no way that management doesn't know about this. Really speaks volumes about the leaders who work there.

Selection was fine. HOWEVER, they were only offering self-check. There were 5 or 6 of us older people who wanted a checker. No one seemed to want to do that. Finally, the self-check employee lowered herself to wait on the long line of customers. When we addressed the issue of preferring to have a checker, she accused us of yelling at her (she did the same with the gentleman in front of us). Believe me we were very polite. I do not use self-check because I DO NOT work for the store, and I want people to have a job. Give a discount if you want your customers to self-check! I also do not appreciate the rudeness we were subjected to. Management: Do Better!I very seldom leave bad reviews.

This was the closest grocery store to the motel we were staying in. We were looking to get some orange juice for our trip. Shipment must have come in prior to our arrival, there were pallets of product everywhere in the store with a large number of employees placing stock. More than a grocery store, they had fishing gear, air conditioners, fans and small appliances, in some ways like a Fred Meyer or Wal-Mart but on a smaller scale. We went in for orange juice found the juice area, but no orange juice bought some apple juice instead. Used the self-check register as appeared there were no cashiers on duty yet, so we really had no interaction with store employees. All in all, it was just an interesting store.

After spending some time in New Mexico just had to stop by this little store to get me some of that delicious New Mexico green sauce if you've never tried it or heard of it you need to get you some. Herd it is best homemade but I guess I'm going to have to try it from the jar.

Always a good experience. Today helping us we had Dede at the cash register and Anthony as our bagger. Dede was very pleasant and Anthony was super helpful. I have to note that Anthony was not only mindful in how he bagged our items but he also made sure to let us know exactly what he was doing in taking care of our products. These two are doing a great service to our community.

Wow. I live in Raton NM, this is a small local store, but omg they should be brought up on charges for the cost of things. The fresh vegetable dept. is disgusting. I've picked up vegetables and strawberries that are moldy when I bring it to their attention they shrug and give me dirty looks. Because this is such a small town they feel they can charge so much more. Now that being said there is a Walmart over Raton Pass which is a mountainous pass between Colorado and New Mexico and can't be traveled if snow is an issue. So these stores here in rural NM gouge the local consumers. I really do believe this is criminal. Things at walmart say, go for $8.00 here in Raton go for almost 12.00 sometimes more. It's hard enough to be a senior and make ends meet, but this store, or (these owners) make it almost impossible for the average person to get by.
