Since it was renovated and new owner, the store is much nicer. The prices are reasonable and the employees are very nice and helpful. They even came out to my truck and retrieved the basket for me.

We are staying outside of Red River and wanted to support the local economy by buying our groceries for the week locally. However, we were so disappointed by the market in town that we decided to look elsewhere. The Questa Supermarket was delightful by comparison! While one won’t find organic produce or gluten free breads here, everything else is there. The staff is very friendly in a genuine way, and we enjoyed the experience of shopping here. The delicious smell of the pork ribs permeated the store so we got some and went right home to enjoy them!

It’s an average grocery with the basics. What made this an exceptional experience was the cooked barbecued ribs. Quite possibly one the the best barbecued ribs I’ve ever had. Generous portions, reasonable price, and excellent taste. It’s better than a restaurant. Just take it home and have an exceptional barbecued rib diner.

Our family has been coming to Red River,NM for over 50 years. It’s a great place to escape our Texas heat. We go to Questa, which is also on the enchanted circle with Taos, Angel Fire, Eagles Nest, Red River. Questa always has the best prices. This year, Questa Center Super Market had opened in town. Don’t be put off by the rustic exterior. It’s in an older building. But when we went in to check it out, it was great. The cashier was at the front. He was very friendly and helpful. He showed us where to locate what we needed since it was our first visit. Produce was fresh. Meats were fresh and they had variety. The shelves were all neatly stacked. The supply was plentiful and the prices were normal. Not the usual ‘tourist trap’ inflated prices. I spent literally 1/2 the price for my groceries as I would have in Red River. I know this. I checked Red River’s only grocery 1st during this visit. Questa is only a 10 minute drive from Red River. Well worth the extra 10 minutes.

I want to support this store - but it's so lacking in the basic parts of what a grocery store should be. Food is often old and past the manufacturer best by date, and the produce is hardly ever fresh. It's good to keep your eyes open when you shop here to make sure that what you're buying is edible. I've heard rumors that the Deli serves meat products that have already gone off.

Although their prices are a bit high, there are many reasons I want to see them here for a long time, including the fresh meat, the roasting of green chili's in the parking lot in the fall, the produce and the convenience for locals, also they are a locally owned small business! I hope family dollar and the dollar general coming in don't put them out of business 🙏🌄

The ladies working in the store were ever so friendly! They knew exactly where their products were, and escorted you to what you are looking for!The store is very clean with no strong odors; which is remarkable, given how long that store has been there!Like other reviewers, I'm grateful they are so close, saving us a trip to Tsos.We will, of course, be back!!!

I have never been treated and confronted in such a hostile disrespectful manner... The owner actually approached me and accused me of drug dealing in the parking lot.... All I did was buy my friend's groceries and I get treated like a criminal.... If I could I would give zero stars for unprofessional customer service... I will not be returning my business to this establishment anytime soon

It is my local market source. The product choices are closely monitored and constantly upgraded/diversified to attempt to meet. customer desires (I.e. organic). That is a monumental awareness and effort in such a little village/market base!Service very good.
