Camping nearby and stopped in for lunch. Shrimp and fries, shrimp and fish and fries were both great. Good portions. Very fair prices too. Fries could have been hotter. Appetizer of fried mushrooms was also good. Great service. Amazing selection of pastries, brownies, cookies, danishes, turnovers etc. all made there. The danish and turnovers are huge.

The food here used to be amazing. Not any more! They're cutting the fries like potato sticks. They were served overly crispy. Dead fries like they were cooked at lunch and reheated for dinner. The burger patty was cooked to death also. It had no flavor and was hard to chew because of how over cooked it was. Just yuck all around. The server is the manager and is just awful at customer service and being a waitress in general. She never checked on us after delivering the food. She let our drinks run dry and didn't help us beyond dropping off the food. We used to travel an hour just to eat here. Now we will eat in Taos, or at home instead. They used to have the best brownies too. Then they started over baking them. They now serve brownies that have a 2 inch deep and wide crunchy crust that a person can't even bite through. So sad that people feel the need to cut corners and ruin their own food just for an extra dollar of profit. *side note... last time my husband and I ate here, that same manager stood in their dining area badmouthing customers. We shouldn't have gone back after listening to that kind of garbage. We won't make the same mistake again.

Okay. So we got a German chocolate cake for my MIL AND a turnover , which only happens on mondays and Fridays, DIVINE. We came back for lunch today and had homemade chips and salsa, stuffed sopapilla , and chicken blue corn enchiladas and they were incredible . Sweet people too. Frank himself helped us and he is delightful. Don’t miss this place .

Must Go! Tiny unique road side place with amazing fry bread menu!! Navajo Tacos, pizza, even a burger on a sopapilla!! Yum!! But then the SWEETS make it twice worth the trip. Every bite of the huge delicate fruit turnovers and creme puffs was perfect! Note owner also does custom orders for events, beautiful wedding cakes and super cute cookies! Great menu of the normal eats ... chicken nuggets, burgers, enchiladas, nachos and burritos too! We will reroute a trip to visit again!

This place is absolutely awesome!!! The food is fantastic and the portions are incredibly large! The service is wonderful, and Frank himself does a lot of the cooking! I drive almost an hour one way just to get brownies and lunch. Most importantly brownies though. Always worth the trip!

Everything is made from scratch, their pastries are superb, the portions are generous, so far a great experience every time. They are trying to expand the hours of operation but without local support it won't happen. I hope they stick around. Prices are reasonable. Over all great places.

Happened to stop while passing through, and so glad I did! I can only speak for the blue corn Tortilla chicken enchiladas, but they were super flavorful, and came with what were probably the best Spanish rice I've ever had (it was wet with a strong tomato flavor). didn't try the desserts but I wish I had! Local place with lots of locals stopping in. great service.

This place is amazing! OMGosh…the Navajo Taco, The Sopapilla pizza, and cream puffs…all are to die for! Wonderful service, unlike any I’ve had for quite awhile. Go early and don’t be in a hurry. The restaurant is very small and very popular.Kid-friendliness: We had 2 children and a baby and the server was more than cheerful and helpful with them.

Food is fantastic, I got the Navajo taco and a German chocolate brownie. The brownie is big enough for a meal in itself. I would recommend ordering ahead because they do get busy.

We were looking for some authentic southwestern food while visiting the area and found Frank’s on google maps. So glad we did! Lunch was delicious! We had to try a cream puff after reading the reviews. It was super yummy. We highly recommend!

The service was fast and friendly, and the food was excellent! The Navajo taco was great. And that green chile sauce... We took a cream puff, a slice of black forest cake the size of my face, and a fist-sized stuffed chocolate dipped strawberry to go, and they were superb. We will hit this place again before we leave town.

My husband and son went on a 4 wheel drive trip from Colorado to New Mexico. On the way back we drove through the town. Had to stop at the hardware store to fix something on his truck. The cashier recommended this place. Amazing food the apple turnovers and brownies were out of this world. Best enchilada and rice and beans. Highly recommended and they staff was so kind and friendly and the town people..

Always love Frank's. Good food always. Today was just a bad day all around tho. I understand when ya get busy, but for us to call in an order and have to wait for over an hour, not good .Food is always delicious tho!The server did everything she could do, she was frustrated just as much as we were . I will return to enjoy the eats n sweets of course. But when calling in give them alot more time then specified.

Stopped by today for a milk shake, some breaded mushrooms & nachos. So delicious!! Don’t pass by this place, it’s a must stop. Great family and so kind and friendly.p.s. their homemade ranch is just as amazing too.

Some of the best food I have had in a long time, and the chocolate cake was to absolutely die for!I went back today, 11/7/19 unfortunately google wont let me make another review, but I had to post again to let everyone else know that the food was absolutely delicious! There was nothing left on our plates when we were done, and it was inhaled, not eaten! We got the chocolate cake again, and its absolutely to die for! My friend Stiles says he is going to marry it on Sunday lol. Anyways that's another 5 star review for this place as best as I can give it!
