We had a cliff side suite with a private outdoor soaking tub. The soaking tub is not very deep. We had to fill the tub to use and drain it when done. They need to install hand grips and rails in better locations to be beneficial in aiding in getting in and out of the tub. The room was really nice and cozy with the wood burning fireplace. There was a microwave and mini-fridge in the room.

Beautiful resort. Had a lot of fun here. My mom even loved it! I appreciate that you could stay all day if time allows. As far as the pools go, some are very hot! Litha was cooler and left your skin feeling very soft. Loved Soda Spring as the roof shielded you from the beating down sun. Iron, I believe it was, also left you with very soft skin but it was very hot.I do think the weekend soak rates are a little high. I wish they had a resident discount. Unfortunately, the mud fountain wasn't working either. I was disappointed with that. I didn't necessarily like how people would throw their stuff on the poolside chairs but never actually be anywhere near the pools. I wish they did the discounted room rate for residents at this resort. Pricey rooms. However, with all of that said, I am very happy that we have this place in New Mexico.Restaurant was excellent. I had the burger and truffle fries. Very nice server, but she had a lot going on.

I have had Ojo Caliente on my list of places to visit for a long time and it was worth the wait! I just stopped for a day soak, but the entire property is beautiful. The driveway pulling up is really lovely and well maintained.I've visited Ojo Santa Fe several times and always enjoyed my time there. Ojo Caliente is a very different and equally WONDERFUL experience. I really enjoyed all the different pools and different temperatures. It was really special that the tubs are nestled so close to the hillside. The mud section was especially fun, but it was a little too chilly to "bake in the sun" as the instructions say - so I'll be back to try the mud again on a day that I can bake in the sun. 👍🏻I really appreciate how the staff consistently remind guests that Ojo Caliente is a peaceful place. I loved soaking there and can't wait to return!

So fun! There are several pools that have different healing effects. One felt so silky, another was a mud bath! There is also a covered soda pool that was nice to get out of the sun for a break. A a few others. I love that everyone was whispering and that the music playing was soothing. It was very clean and serene. You have to wear a swimsuit unless you get a private pool by the hour.Safety: I was on crutches and the bathroom floor when it was wet (wish it was) was EXTREMELY slippery. The handicap shower was in the back of the restroom. There was no place in the shower to hang my towel so I had to hobble several feet to hang it. They did have individual bathrooms up front but not individual showers.Noteworthy details: My boyfriend brought me a towel to the women's restroom door. Since I was on crutches I couldn't carry everything myself. He got screamed at by staff for calling my name out at the door.

Ojo Caliente provided a much-needed rest day during our ski trip to Taos. I got a 50-minute massage from Brandie and she was exceptional. She focused in on all the right spots and left me feeling much better than when I walked in. Highly recommend her if you're looking to book a massage during your stay! The pools were great and I loved the variety. The terrace pool was my favorite. Definitely a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Highly recommend!

The water is the best of the best. The bath house that burned down in 2020 has been rebuilt with elegance and charm. During reconstruction they discovered a new spring!!! It is being developed into new pools and I can’t wait to go back. Nice drive, great food, friendly people.

There are few things in this world that are all that they are cracked up to be. Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs is one of them. The location is in a secluded in a tree-filled canyon and is quiet and peaceful to an almost super natural degree. The quiet rule is strictly enforced and the shower rooms are hospital level clean. The staff is friendly and incredibly patient with newbies. The water is perfectly warm and not too hot or cold. This is a great place to go to get away from it all, relax and forget about the world for a while. It is well worth the drive.

The hot spring pools were the best! The rooms in the “historic” bldg connected to the restaurant was that of jail cell contained a bed and a bathroom. The charge is about $270 and some change in end March 2024. The justification was it’s an “historical” bldg. The cottages are cute on the outside but didn’t offer hot water in the morning to shower. I’m not sure if that was a one time incident or if that occurs often. That’s was a $270 and change charge as well. The little curtains didn’t offer coverage to dress or take a cold shower. Felt unsafe as the back door only lock by old chain. Also, took heat a while to kick in so I slept on full layered clothing. Wasn’t the best experience. I would book the double queen bed rooms as those seem to be the best rooms. I would’ve booked these rooms. However, none were available at the time.

Fantastic experience at Ojo Caliente Spa! Such a unique and unforgettable time. Would highly recommend to everyone. There's even nice hammocks to lounge and listen to music or read in. It does get a bit crowded sometimes. It's beautiful at night with the stars in the pool truly majestic. The electronic lockers are a little confusing but super secure. If any feedback at all its expensive for sure. And they used to have a punch card like 10th visit free they should do that again. And maybe bring a rubber mat outside for barefoot people and one of the ice water containers outside would be wonderful too!Nearby activities: There's a trail head for a little hike.Safety: Very safeNoteworthy details: The mineral hot springs !

I love it here & will for sure return but will share why I’m unable to give all 5 stars. The hot springs are lovely. The setting is just beautiful. The spa where we received services is also lovely as were the service providers. We stayed the night for the 1st time. Our room was fine. Good enough. Our shower was gross. We didn’t use it and opted to use the locker room shower instead which says enough. I’m okay with everything in the room being on the older side but the tile in the shower was very obviously not cleaned regularly. The mini-split heating unit was malfunctioning so we were cold. The front desk couldn’t switch our room and told us they would bring us extra blankets that never came.I will for sure come back to enjoy the spa and springs :)

We came here a couple years ago to celebrate our anniversary and this time we were excited to revisit and enjoy a soak on our long roadtrip home after seeing the solar eclipse. Pools were a little dirty, Long human hairs floating around, and the bathrooms were out of toilet paper and hand soap/lotion. I think this place needs to lower their prices or step it up with staff, cleaning and cooking. The restaurant also reflected a very poor attention to detail.

Please staff up so that the pools can be kept quiet.Ojo is such a special place but this past time many guests were loudly talking and the environment was more party than relaxation. Also please clarify that the Inn is a 7 minute walk from the property rather than on site. We were confused on arrival.Annie was a fantastic server at the Artisan. So kind and attentive.

Ojo Caliente and a beautiful and relaxing spot for the day or for an adult get away. The mineral baths are wonderful and the massage that me and my bestfriend got from Chris was also wonderful. If your body runs hot you should go during the cooler months. If you run cold, them you may be fine all year around if you don't mind the chilly dash to the next mineral pool. The Posi room we got was beautiful and relaxing and had its own private mineral pool thar made you skin feel as soft as a baby's bottom.

This is one of the best hot Spring resorts I have been to. The facility is very well managed right down to the local botanic lotion in the bathrooms and the filtered water everywhere. The pools were very clean and generally uncrowded. We loved sitting near the warm fireplace in the historic adobe building sipping their delicious coffee with real half-and-half in the morning! The outdoor fire pit with real firewood, available to any guest, is a nice touch.

Pretty nice spot. Customer service was great, locker rooms were nice as well. Showers have shampoo & conditioner. You get a locker and unlimited towels, access to all 7 pools from 10am-10pm all on the day pass for only $45.. worth the trip!

This place is amazing! Went to visit some friends in taos, and decided to leave them a day early to go camp/check this resort out. The campgrounds are spectacular! We got there at like 5:30-6pm, and the pools close at 10pm. But the lady that helped us was so accommodating! She only charged us for the camping, 2 spots because our friend was with us, and through in our passes since the day was so late. We were greeted with kindness from the moment we walked in to the moment we left in the morning. I wish I could of gotten the woman’s name because she was lovely. However, everyone there was nice and the facilities were neat and clean. Our 2 favorite springs were the “rooftop” one and the “steam room one”, it had cathedral windows that made you feel like you were in another time period while soaking.(Btw, I gave the rooms 5 star but we actually camped, and it is so much better! You’re right next to the river and they have the cleanest bathroom and showers!)

Just finished a wonderful girl's weekend at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs. Stayed in Casa de Ojo. Perfect for our group of 8. The house is super cute with a retro 50's kitchen, real fire place with provided supplies. It was steps away from everything. The pools were very relaxing, spa services were great and the restaurant was pleasant. Would come again and highly recommend!

Magical. I wish to be back, right now. Nice rooms (although I’d love a rug by the bed cuz the concrete floors are cold, porous and chalky). You come for the waters and I couldn’t be more thankful for my one night stay there. The drive out is beautiful too. They were a little short-staffed, so some of the rooms weren’t ready right at 3pm. I witnessed my fair share of extra-enlightened old white ladies being absolute Karens to the front desk staff. Pretty funny for how lovely this place is — how the staff obviously go above and beyond to make things really nice. I also really appreciated how sweet the servers were at the restaurant and wine bar. Go with an open heart and let the water take away your burdens.

I do not recommend staying here for any women traveling alone. I dove down from Denver to meet friends but was staying in my own room initially at the “Inn at Ojo”. When I arrived I noted that one of the windows in my ground floor unit did not have a lock. It appeared to be broken off or missing. I called the front desk, maintenance came out and said he couldn’t do anything. They didn’t have any other rooms that night so I was uneasy but ended up being fine. There is also no deadbolt on the door, but my main concern was my unlocked ground floor window, especially in an area secluded from the rest of the resort. They had a new room the next night but I had to check out of my old room and be without a room for four hours, they couldn’t even provide an early check in. They also up charged me $100 since the room I was moved to was an “upgrade”. When I pushed the manager to refund the upcharge he pushed back and said because it was a nicer room, I should pay more. When I said the only reason I was moving was because my initial room provided was not desire, he literally rolled his eyes at me and walked away and said “fine”.The pools themselves were super lovely and tranquil, the restaurant was excellent, but I was VERY disappointed by the hotel service .I do want to mention that the female manager at night when I arrived was very lovely and understanding and did offer a free private soak. I appreciated that but her service was negated by the incredibly rude and condescending male day manager.I would recommend a day trip and nice meal at the restaurant but do not recommend the hotel, especially given the price point and fact they are billed as a more luxury resort.

Overall, a wonderful day at Ojo Caliente! We went on a Wednesday to avoid crowds but it was quite busy. Not too busy to enjoy, but very busy nonetheless. The pools are great, really great! Temps were perfect. The mud was thin and watery and from what others tell me, it used to be thick and creamy before the changes were made. I still enjoyed it though. Baking it on and soaking it off was very relaxing. Loved the eucalyptus steam room. The restaurant was just okay, I ordered the Ruben sandwich. The bread was great, the meat was thick and processed. It was not high quality at all. I picked most of it off. I expected the best Ruben ever especially with the high prices. Side note, the sweet potato fries were delicious! The restaurant needs to step up their menu, if they want to call it fine dining, that should include the lunch options as well. Next time we will bring our own picnic lunch and eat in the car. Seriously.

Great place for a soak after ski day at Taos. Was a bit pricey for a day soak at 70$ each it would have been nice to also get a robe and a snack or drink included. You had to pay extra for a massage to have a full retreat day. More of a special occasion experience.

We went for a soak and massage. We were really upset because they wanted to charge a fee of $ 45 per person that could only be refunded if we got out within half an hour of finishing our services. You think... I am going to relax but once I am done I have to rush like crazy so that I am not charged a ridiculous fee when we are already spending a premium price on the services. The private soak tubs are really nice although ours was busy during our slot and we had to wait for a couple to exit. The stone massage was amazing!!!There is a beautiful gift shop that carries great brands, snacks, water and some food items. You won't leave without buying something. The restaurant located outside the spa offers good food but it is overpriced. I assume they take advantage because there is nothing else close to the spa. But I was outraged when I saw they charged $ 6 for a glass of carbonated water!!!!Food & drinks: There is a restaurant located outside of the spa complex. Food was good but overpriced (of course, they take advantage since there is nothing else close to the spa). They charged $6 for a glass of carbonated water!!!!!!!!!!!! Same as a beer!!!!!Noteworthy details: There are multiple spring water pools to use and also private soak rooms. The massage therapists are great.Their gift shop carries very good brands and also offers some snacks and food items.

Staying in their RV park, we found many of the sites had the electric and water hookups on the opposite side of where most RVs have them, making it awkward to connect. On top of that, those hookups were near the road, making it even more difficult. The WiFi was weak and spotty, at best. More times than not, we had no connection, along with zero cell service. The various pools were very nice, but they failed to consistently enforce their own rules about limiting noise and talking. Overall, the staff was pleasant and very accommodating.

We reserved a romantic package for soaking. It included 1 hr a private pool, 2 robes, and all day soaking passes. On arrival, the private pool was cold. Management gave us a full refund, and 2 days of soaking in the communal area, which was great. We loved the pools the first night but should have called it quits earlier than we did. We soaked for 4 hours off and on the first day. The 2nd day we went in the morning for 3 hours, left to get a light lunch, and came back for another 4 hours. On the way back to Santa Fe, we both fell violently ill. We spent the entire night with fever, chills, and vomiting. Be careful not to overdo the soaking in hot pools in cold weather. I’ve been to many hot springs and never had this happen, we were not light headed at any point. We became ill about 30 minutes after we left, and it was so bad we should have gone to the hospital. We were hydrated, and didn’t drink alcohol or eat heavy food. Too much soaking, in cold weather. Staff was nice, pools were great but be careful. Towels could be better quality, and robes are thin and only make you colder. Other than that, we found Ojo to be nice despite our bodies reaction to soaking too long.Noteworthy details: Don’t soak more than a few hours.

This was our second time visiting Ojo Caliente. The first time was 8 years ago and left such a lasting impression. The pools are so very lovely, and clean. Truly healing waters. We stayed in a Cliff Side suite (#49). Unfortunately, the room was not clean. The floors were beyond dirty. The baseboards looked like they had not been cleaned in months, and there were many stains on the walls. This was too bad because the room itself was gorgeous, and the private outdoor tub was such a luxury. I ended up sweeping and wiping down the floor and rest of the room. Not sure if this was a one off, or a more consistent issue. I think Ojo should focus on their core products instead of expanding. I am sure they are experiencing staffing issues like many. That’s the reason for four stars. We’ll be back though! Hopefully a cleaner room next time, please get that addressed.Lastly - The wine bar was lovely and the service provided by Jacob was stellar.

Would not recommend driving out from Santa Fe day soaking. For a day of rest and relaxation, I wish I had done a private soak in Santa Fe. I felt the photos of the pools were misleading - they were much smaller than the photos appear. They were also CROWDED - with many couples displaying PDA that is uncomfortable in close quarters. The showers did not work at the mud pool, and the mud pool itself was underwhelming. The underwater bench in the lower cliff pool was chipped and uncomfortable. Although there are signs reminding people to whisper and stay quiet, there are no staff on site enforcing this, and people were loud and chatty. Lastly, the locker room offered amenties like lotion - but they were all empty. The staff we encountered were kind and sympathetic, but the pools seem to attract a crowd that does not match the serene atmosphere and location.
