The drive in was cool. The vistas from the campground are awesome. The sites are made for small RV’S. We have a 40' and it was quite a time finding a site we could work with.They were severely understaffed. The lady working the office was by herself. The was clearly uneasy with that fact and I don't blame her one bit. We had to speak to someone over the phone to move sites on account of no one being around. The information they had online for the person on the phone to help us was not accurate.Not to far from town and Aztec Ruins NP.The marina looks great. Too many boats for such a small body of water IMO.Playground: There was a small playground.Restrooms: Out of order.

This is the best lake in the area bar none. Other lakes in SJC wish they could be as cool. It is THEE lake. I would go with my grandpa on his boat when I was a kid. It's where I caught my first fish. Camping in Francis canyon as a teenager. Having too much fun, diving off the rocks. Now in middle age, paddle boarding up the mouth of the Pine river on a stealth camp. You just can't find a better place nearby.

Stayed here at Eastside camping area...Site 33 was recommended by a staff member...IT WAS AWESOME...so much so we stayed 2 extra days. Very quiet beautiful setting...lots of exploring right from our site. Nice shelter with picnic table looking out over lake..fire pit with wood that was supplied by the park water and electric hookups.

Beautiful only $8.00 for a day pass. Water recreational rentals available. Easy to find, good amount of parking. Dog friendly. There isn't much of a beach but the lake is beautiful!

The most unfriendly, unpleasant, unwelcoming, unhelpful park staff I’ve ever encountered in 50 years of camping. Campsites are messy, littered, full of tall weeds and goatheads. Broken glass everywhere you go. No regard for the park or visitors. Worst maintenance and customer service of all New Mexico State Parks.

Too many fire ants. Got bit a bunch of times on the foot as I was trying to set up my tent. Also hated there was NO PHONE SERVICE. As a FEMALE camping alone, I wanted to be able to use my phone in case of an emergency. Last state park I went to there was phone service. Not to mention at this place, it did NOT feel as secluded. All the camp spots are way too close together. I would just give it one star. But the ONLY reason it is getting 2 stars is because of how beautiful it is. I hate that I drove ALL THE WAY FROM DALLAS, TX to be there and it was a disappointment. Now I am practically broke from the expenses of getting there and having to get a motel cuz I need phone service for safety. I want my money back.

Navajo Lake is huge! It’s a beautiful man-made lake. It look’s like it goes on forever and is endless. I will have to get a boat the next time I come as it looks like a blast to go out on the water. They have a nice marina store where you can buy souvenirs, snacks, nachos, and drinks. They even sell floaties, life vests, and other water accessories. Definitely a great place to enjoy your weekend!Restrooms: The restrooms are inside and nice and clean.

We had reservations for three nights we have a 17 foot trailer the site was so small we couldn’t park our pickup at the site the campground is really shabby the camp host site looks like it could be on hoarders I knocked on the door but they wouldn’t answer they were there I could hear them inside. We didn’t stay. It is the worst park in the system. New Mexico has some beautiful parks Navajo lake is not one

A lot of nice renovations. Bathrooms were very clean. Splash pad for the kids. Water bumper cars. Boat I rented was maintained and very clean. Doc hands were very friendly. The gals in the store weren't all that friendly but they weren't rude or mean either. Overall experience compared to other marinas was excellent!

The Park is only allowing New Mexico residents in due to COVID which is understandable. But business inside the park are renting out boats and not informing customer they cannot enter the park if they are out of state.I informed the Marina I am out of state and driving for 3 hours to get there. Once I got there the Ranger kicked me and the kids out (I understand it is his job). The Ranger called the Marina and informed they are turning down multiple customers that have called in or reserved via the website which does not say they are not allowed to.The Governor that put these rules in place should insure the business are posting on their website and not renting boats to out of state customers.

I loved our visit here. Beautiful lake and the park was very nicely kept. We camped in Cedar loop and the camp host, Dennis, was very kind and helpful. He allow us to change to a better site then the one we reserved.

I went camping with a couple of friends and we managed to get our manual truck stuck and it wouldn’t start. We called the front office and they sent a ranger right out. He tried to jump it and that didn’t work but he managed to figure out what was wrong. It was an easy fix. The people here are amazing, the first person we asked for help got their truck out and pulled our’s all the way back to our camp site. It took us about 5 mins to fix the problem with the truck and we spent the rest of the weekend enjoying good views and fun times by the lake. It’s a great spot for family’s, they have places for tents and campers.

I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for "law enforcement officer" David Ford Came around our camp and started trouble. Our camp was quiet and clean. David Ford is a racist officer. You get accused for something you didn't do. (Beware) otherwise,I would definitely recommend camping at Navajo Pine campground, and the camp hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

It's beautiful ,with hundreds of little canyons (perfect for skinny dipping ),there are big canyons too .A few Sandy beaches and the water is great for water sports after June . If you like to fish ,thus is the place ,pike ,bass ,croppie,catfish,and trout .I live 4 miles away from the Pine entrance to the park .

This place is so dirty! Plastic, food waste, cigarette butts, broken glass... EVERYWHERE! On the shores, in the campsites... it's disgusting. Another drawback is there are not many places to enjoy the water from the shore, unless you want to bob around in waste from the marina. Such a disappointing weekend.

All the public bathrooms and showers are closed and locked. Again Covid raises it's ugly head. Why can't we just practice social distancing and go on with life.

Vary bad . Customer service was super bad me and my family 1st time going and it was vary bad customer service. The staff had no knowledge about anything for rent they didn’t want to help me and my family we ask for the manager and come to find out it was the manager who didn’t know what to do . The guy that was so post to help us with the bumper cars didn’t want to help us at all
