Absolutely beautiful and remote area. Nice sized spots with a metal or concrete picnic table and steel awning. My site was lakeside views. Dark, which was great, but since it was winter, long dark walk to only open restroom. Could use a few low level lights for walking and safety.

Cool nights and warm days. Great for camping. You need a boat to enjoy all the lake has to offer. The marina has a great cafe and splash pad for kids and so much more.

This place is amazing. The desert vistas, blue waters and world class trout fishing. My only regret is only spending 6 hours with my fly line in the water with Hope's of landing a giant trout. Definitely a place you must experience!

Water levels are low this season but despite that the fishing is always awesome and the weather in June is perfect. A few late day storms, a curious raccoon here and there. All together a beautiful peace of mother nature.

Beautiful! Has everything you need when your away from home. Perfect place to bring our Seadoo and Waverunner! Only bad thing I can say is the dock is so busy there is hardly any place to park the vehicle and trailer. Other parking lots available but far! To far to walk however, the lil go carts giving rides was nice. They need more on busy days. Too long of a wait! Other than that AMAZING...Not many mosquitoes or flies...bathrooms and comfort stations super clean!

This place was beautiful, we had a small storm come over us at the time, the lake itself was great, many places to fish from but some seem hard to access, but plenty of space for picnics, fishing was good, I was trying for the salmon but they were to deep! This is more a boat lake to get to the good game, but on the other side of the damn the San Juan river is running with trout, lots of fly fishing going on, caught several but this spot of the right er is Catch and Release only!! Still lots of fun, bring bug spray and plenty of flies, Enjoy and be safe

We camped in a dry camping spot and loved it. Great place for our dog to explore around. The shop at the marina was pet friendly also.

Navajo Lake is full and fabulous! We camped below the dam at Cottonwood Campground which is right on the San Juan River. The campground condition is deteriorating since the last visit two years ago, but we understand from the director that they are having a hard time filling positions. In spite of things looking a bit worn down, garbage flying all over, and the fire pits full of charred wood and garbage, we enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect and the area is stunning.

Pine Campground was decent. Restrooms and showers were clean. Could use another restrooms for amount of camping spots. Big negative as others have mentioned is how tight and close together camping spots are. Lake is big and has a large marina with stuffPlayground: Pine CG has a small playground Restrooms: Need more but were cleanDog-friendliness: Dog friendly with poop bag stations

Beautiful campground...love the scenery--lake view! The Marina rents all kinds of water toys at reasonable prices. Book online prior to visit as it is a busy place.

Very clean and comfortable campsite. The showers were not open but the restroom was extremely clean. Real pretty views of the lake. The marina had all you need. It's got a store, restaurant, and boats to rent. Watch the length allowed on your site and most you need to level.

Nice big park with plenty to do. Beautiful scenery every direction. The roads are scraped clean after the big rains yesterday. Cool weather to enjoy. Fishing was difficult given the recent rains

Great lake if you have a boat. There isn't really any good beach area to hang out, it's all rocky and the camp area is essentially on a cliff.Restrooms: Lots of camp ground vault toilets and bathrooms at Marina.

Myself and two sons had a great time camping here with family and an even better time on the lake. The marina has so many fun options for rentals and fun stuff for kids. The cool lake water is welcome on a blistering hot day. Also wonderful is how many fun coves (very beach like) were available to splash and swim with the kids. The restroom facilities were above average and everyone we met was very friendly.

Beautiful place to camp. Been doing it for years. This trip we were not allowed to use a charcoal grills only gas grills (not an issue) and the showers only had cold water actually felt good. I will be going back again and again.

The park was clean, there were alot of options as far as rentals go. The store had a wide variety of items, from toys, to some groceries, to fishing equipment. The views were amazing.

Very small sites, we tent camped and Pine just isn’t good for that. Everyone else was in an RV and I’m sure that was fine, but would not tent camp here again.

My fiance my children my grandchildren and myself stayed for several days. The area is absolutely beautiful there's paddleboat Sim all kinds of things to do on the water a little store a little restaurant and fish you can feed. The campgrounds we stayed out was beautiful with the beautiful sight. Only had a couple drawbacks one the bathrooms near our camp area were closed so we had to drive to the nearest. And the park rangers have giving me a hard time down to how many vehicles I had their to follow me around when I would go from campsite to the lake to asking us where we're riding our motorcycle I felt hassled by them but other than that had a great time fishing recommend going during the weekdays instead of towards the weekend that was much better on the weekdays.

Located about an hour from Farmington, this place is great for a quick getaway. The bathrooms were clean, there's a conveniently located dump site, and there's also a nice playground for kids.It is a little more crowded than most campgrounds I've been to though, spaces you pull into are tight and you are right next to your neighbor on both sides. The Price is Right though, it is currently $14 for water and electric hookup. There is a trail running down to the water's edge but it is a little precarious so be careful. There is no easy access to the Marina from here, if you don't have an alternate vehicle to your hooked up RV, plan to walk.

NM is doing a great job at this park. Fairly large with lots of sites. The scenery is beautiful. Some sites have a nice view of the lake. We were in site 15 of the main Pine loop. Had no trouble getting level. Might need an extra sewer hose, as the sewer hook up was at the back of the site. Also needed my extra section of fresh water hose.We kayaked along the SW shor, beginning at the marina. It's a nice paddle, with several protected coves for picnicking. The marina has a nice store with a Cafe attached. We didn't eat, but I was told the food was real good.Playground: Looked like a new playground at main pine loop.Restrooms: Very cleanDog-friendliness: Plenty of areas for dogsPicnic area: Picnic areas are abundant throughout the park.

I love the new Marina and fun stuff they have for the kids and family. I personally feel it's the best lake in New Mexico.

Beautiful lake! We will go again. Spent most of my time fishing the San Juan which was also very beautiful. The trout were biting when the fly suited them...;-/
