I've had a good experience in general. Great selection for a small town grocery store. Didn't find myself wanting for anything when shopping here. I think the only thing from the bakery/deli/restaurant part I didn't like were the muffins. They were a bit hard and tasted too much like flour. However everything else has tasted good such as the brisket meal, the Mac and cheese meal, etc.!

Bstreet market was recreated several years ago with donations from the citizens of Mountainair. It is a friendly store with a wide variety of foods. Both tourists and locals find it a valuable source of fresh, frozen and packaged goods. It also hosts a small cafe, and there is a piano open to whomever might wish to play. The prices are a little higher than those in our big cities, but this is only to be expected when the nearest full spectrum grocery stores are over 50 miles away. The convenience more than balances out the price of gas to travel to larger distant markets. I recommend the local honey they carry.

We found friendly people and delicious sandwiches at a very fair price! We go through Mountainair often enough to stop frequently, and we will.

We love B Street Market! The owner, Nancy, goes to great lengths to provide local organic produce and other healthy foods that most small-town grocers never carry. She caters to the requests from local folks like us. We really enjoy the Friday night dinners with live music! I have Celiac disease, and Nancy always makes sure there are plenty of gluten-free items when she cooks. Her son, Ian, makes the best gluten-free club sandwich in the world!

Owner is rude. Employees as well as the owner park directly in front of the door when there is an empty lot right next to the building, in front should be for customers. Her produce is disgusting, prices are extremely high, and the store has an odd odor. I have heard her yell at employees in front if customes.

Lovely little old time market in a very scenic area. Better than driving to Edgewood for basics. Quality is great and best of all, they sell local vegetables, honey and the best homemade jelly around. On 8/17/22 I purchased a beautiful ceramic mug from here, and was told by the lovely gentleman that rang up my groceries that it was handmade by a local artist. I love collecting items from our travels and this is my piece from Mountainair to add to my mug collection in our travel trailer. I'd truly love to know the artist if there is anyway possible.

Great local grocery store. The staff is excellent. They have a great selection of fresh meat and cheese. The deli and home cooked weekly meals are outstandng, too.But I want to say that their fresh produce has improved SO much this past year. It's truly outstanding now and well-priced, too. In fact, all the products are much more affordable this past year. This is a small town, so this is no small feat.I've been able to ditch the weekly trip to Wal-Mart and have been buying most of our groceries here. Well done! Keep up the good work. Overall I highly recommend this place!

Small town in a sparse region, so it serves everyone... And very well. Grocery and such, but an excellent deli in back, good coffee, and surprisingly, good kombucha. They make it on site. So often vinegary and fizzy, here it's lighter and tasty.Great place c

Came in to look for postcards. When I walked in, I felt like everyone in the place looked at me. The cashier said hi. I looked around. The cards were only notecards with envelopes, no postcards. I felt awkward about not buying anything, so I got a chocolate hand pie, which turned out to be really good. Had a nice conversation with a lady at the cash register who was not the cashier. Nice mosaics on the outside of the store

I'm a big believer in shopping locally when possible, I was terribly disappointed when the service here was so poor. Customer service is the ONLY way small businesses can compete with the big guys.In all fairness, I have to amend this review and give credit where credit is due; returned in June 2020. I've shopped here 3 times in the last month and things have changed soooo much. Sonja and Daphne serve their customers well, cheerfully and are wonderfully helpful when a need is expressed. Produce has definitely improved and the store is clean and well stocked. Kudos!!

We walked up to the counter and asked about a sandwich. We had been driving since 4 am and hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast around 8 am. He conveniently placed the closed sign while I was asking. You have got to be kidding me you can't make a traveler who chose to stop a quick sandwich. Ridiculous. I normally do not complain but when there is nothing else around to eat give us a break. I was going to buy some other things but forget it. We will go on down this lonely destitute road and hope to find something. One silver lining is we got gas earlier before driving on this horrible road.

Despite being small, B street has a great selection of groceries to choose from along with a wonderful deli. They have somehow been able to keep their prices low while providing a lot of local options to keep their footprint relatively small. B street was one of the first establishments to put up a hand washing station outside of the door during the coronavirus outbreak - which just demonstrated their commitment to their customers' health and the safety of their community. Because of these reasons, I will continue to give them my support and business for as long as I can.

Ok - I'm posting here because Nancy doesn't have google review for turning point leather which she owns.. I commissioned a leather purse in June of 2020; payed $300 down payment; balance to be paid in three weeks when it was completed. Innumerable emails asking for progress are either ignored or met with vague promises of completion. One and a half years later and still nothing. Asked for refund and for the last 6 weeks my 300 dollars was 'in the mail'. I truly wish she would have fulfilled her promises and I wouldn't have to resort to a public review.

Awesome deli which doubles as an in-store restaurant. Plus, they stock Fano bread, which is (gasp) real bread and some of the best bread I've ever tasted.

This is the only market for miles around and they do a great job. This is a smaller size market that has a good selection of products. The deli in the back is great. You can eat in or take out. They have WiFi too. Staff is friendly and helpful.

My fist time in the store today owner of the store was very rude to customers and also employees. Cashier was very nice and helpful. Will not go back! Wish you could rate negative stars because this place doesnt even deserve 1.

While the grocery selection isn't vast, for a small town sole proprietorship it's quite wonderful. And being able to get a homemade pastry and coffee, or a hot meal to eat in or to go is pretty fun.

Worst meat ever! Wish they would carry Mesa Meats products and support a local business. B St Market sells “retired dairy cattle “ as usda graded beef and it shows.

Don't let this unassuming little market in Mountainair fool you, it is a gem with all kinds of off-the-beaten path supplies and helpful staff and owner, Nancy, offer helpful tips and advice for what may ail you.

This place is a great little market. It is kinda the only one for miles around but the prices are fair. I have been to some small town shops and a 20oz soda is almost 4 dollars not here.
