This store reminds of the Old Casablanca Grocery store before they changed everything to Dancing Eagle Supermarket. THIS. PLACE. IS. GREAT!!The people are friendly, the deli is great, and the bakery is AWESOME! They create some pretty delicious cakes here but make sure to place an order the day before IF you want a special cake.Sometimes - they do create small extra cakes!! 😋The store is clean. It doesn't smell like an outside toilet; not like the other place.A great place to pick up last minute snacks before heading to Bluewater Lake for fishing, traveling, or sightseeing. I highly recommend this place ❤️

Way over priced items. Good selection though. Most employees are rude especially that one stocker Rick M. He is as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle. He should find another job.

Good place to get your groceries and other things you need. Not to far off from I-40 so travelers can stop there if they need to. Staff is pretty helpful too.

The Grants store is looking so great with the new store manager. Quality of products has also gone up. They carry delicious Herford beef as well.

I have recently started shopping at Brooks occasionally. They carry local items and brands we've learned to enjoy that we can't find other places. Their prices are higher than Walmart but are comparable to Smith's (part of the Kroger chain). Their meat looks very fresh and friends who shop there regularly say they have the best meat.

They are really improving their stock of products but prices are a tad higher then other grocery stores so it's convenient when you don't want to drive into Grants

Quite a selection. I bought pork chops there my first time visiting to check out the store. They were big, beautiful and very tasty! So I went back and bought beef and chicken. The hamburger was also very good, not fatty, and on sale that week. Let you know about the chicken. The meat was very reasonably priced, but most items are more expensive. I also bought produce which was reasonably priced and fresh.

I don’t know about this place anymore. Ladies are rude. They only flirt with the men. But give the person in line a bad eye without greeting. Plus now it feels like I walk into a high school when I walk in there. Filled with girl workers who make fun of customers, very rude. Sound like hyenas. It’s not the same anymore.

I was visiting the local town of Grants, New Mexico and down the road on Rt66 is the Village of Milan,New Mexico. This grocery store is amazing 🤩 The meat and produce prices are less than the local Walmart 🤣. They have a unique brand of seasonings as well. Highly recommend.

Milan is a tiny town, not a lot of businesses and the only other food shopping is at the Walmart in the neighboring town. I went into this market for one thing and came out with so much. This is an exceptionally clean and well maintained store, the produce is fresh, the meat section is well stocked and don't even get me started on the deli and bakery, wow!. The prices are reasonable and when you realize they are the only "game" in town, they could charge more. But they don't. Milan is lucky to have John Brooks Supermarket.

Nice clean store with lots to offer. I love their checkout system! It's extremely convenient! They even support Samsung pay, and Apple pay. They have stuff our sad Walmart doesn't even have. Keep up the great work 👍!

The deli/ bakery has good variety of hot foods along with devilish cakes, pastries and breadsThe produce and meat dept have a good selection of quality products.I enjoy shopping at this establishment, it is friendly and welcoming.

A lot of the item's were priceie, but worth the money if you're buying meats. But other than that, the store was clean. They had fresh dounts. The staff wad friendly. Hoping they sell by the cases of meats, I will have too check?

Had everything I needed, was super quiet, organized, and everyone was wearing masks. I like that they carry smaller brands here and I was able to find healthy options and bathroom items without harsh chemicals. The staff are also super nice! Thank you!

Store is always clean, employees are excellent at customer service. They are nice and always friendly. The deli has excellent food! They always have a good lunch special! Fresh donuts every day.

Good store , always a bit higher than Walmart in some areas. Id say around 5 percent.Awesome breakfast burritos , and great Monday thru Friday Lunch Specials for five bucks . They have a real deli and bakery , only one in town. Fresh donuts are always great here .Rock stars are always on sale as well. Don't get Spam here , overpriced . Breads always a good deal as well , meat selection is okay.Avoid the specialty chicken where its like Buffalo Flavor or some other variety , it isn't that great .Great staff , friendly to everyone.

Small town grocery stores are one of my favorite places to visit. The cashiers and the management seem to know everyone. Management of the store as well as cashiers have been very helpful and very kind. They always have Smiles on their faces and a kind word for me. I definitely will be shopping here again.

Checked sale items, didn't ring up correctly. Amount refunded wasn't correct either. Do have great bakery items and hard to find things. Liver loaf sandwich meat is almost impossible to find, they carry it. Shop there once in a while. I like smiling people, none ever there.

Its nice to get small things, but I'm not really into buying out of date product's and there deli, will I guess if you have to get something from there, just be ready for a person that don't smile, rude, and sometimes they just don't want anything to do with you. Just not a friendly place unless you know the employees, then its different.

Nice place to shop but their bakery items are not as good & tasty like they use to be. Kind of pricy. Meat dept is great. They have better cuts of meats and selection. Also have items that I can't get at other local stores.

Love their pistachio muffins! Only place in the county to find them. Meat is good quality for the price, produce must be used within 24 hrs though ...decent section of $1.00 items also.

Many many food products here. There is a deli/bakery section here that only seems to be open from 8-5. They have whole liquor section where u can purchase them at their own cashier section. There is also a fridge where fresh flowers are ready for purchase.... They are always looking beautiful and ready for purchase.

Super expensive. They say it's due to COVID but I am a truck driver and have been in stores all across the US. 1.85 for 32 oz gateraide on sale. Meat has out of control prices. They do not take Amex or Discover. After talking to locals, I found out it is a monopoly in this small town. I will not be back.

My only complaint is they added some carpet last year that has lines that stick up in different spots and run parallel to the door so going up and down the store is smooth and fine but going left to right the basket bounces and shakes on the bumps

This local supermarket has some of the friendliest employees. The store is always on top of things. Ron has done a great job w this store. Ty, Ron for keeping it going the way you do!
