I experienced the worst welcome at the SPA today and to my surprise it was by the supervisor Jessica. My massage was Amazing, the tour and hospitality by Jenna was great! As I checked out with Jessica again worst service at a spa. She didn’t even ask if I wanted to tip my therapist, I had to remind her and left cash for my therapist. I will not go back. Everyone at hotel including valet was super nice.

Everything was incredibly overpriced. Nothing was included with the extremely overpriced room. No discounts on the activities or spa. The spa closed an hour earlier than advertised. Check in time was at 3 pm but room was not ready until 5 pm. If I stay in Ruidoso again, I will stay somewhere else because the Inn of the Mountain Gods activities, are open to the public so staying there to take advantage of the activities is not worth it.Noteworthy details: The room had a nice view.

The resort is beautiful and overall was happy with our stay but the room had some upkeep and maitance issues. The horse riding and golf was excellent! We did encounter a very rude woman employee while placing a bet at the sports book which was unfortunate but we won our bet.😉Rooms: We had a Lakeview room which was very spacious but the upkeep and maintenance was lacking and surprised meNearby activities: Zip lining, horse back riding, batting cages, and of course golf.🙂Food & drinks: They offer something for everyone....Wendell's upscale dining. Broken Arrow casual dining then the food market has something for everyone.

Honestly, I was expecting a lot more from this resort. My husband reserved a deluxe room online, and upon us getting to the resort, the room wasn't ready! We had to wait an additional 2 hours just to get into our room! Upon entering the room, I could tell they didn't do a good job cleaning because there was dust and hair above the bed! They do have a few eateries at the resort that you can enjoy, but none of the tables were cleaned after patrons had finished eating. We ordered room service for breakfast, and a robot brought our food, which was interesting. I wish they would have cleaned the inside of the service bot before our food was delivered. We paid $57.60 for two breakfast plates (omelet and scrambled eggs), and I would expect my food to be piping hot for this price! Overall, there are beautiful scenic views, but next time, I will make it a day trip.

Everything was excellent!!! Especially Broken Arrows legendary bartender Donald! He was very friendly outgoing attentive and made excellent drinks! The food was great too and overall a very pleasant atmosphere! The bar in the casino has 3 employees that provided us with excellent service and mixed drinks! Big kudos to Joe, Joel, and Rene. We did not come across anyone who wasn’t friendly and respectful. Keep up the great work… oh by the way we didn’t win any money but had lots of fun trying anyway! 😊

We recently moved to New Mexico and live only a little over an hour drive to Inn of the Mountain Gods. We visited the casino today for the first time and had a great time!!! The drive there is beautiful and the inn's location is breathtakingly gorgeous. The casino was spotless and any employees we met were friendly and helpful. The slots were very kind to both of us and we got to try Wahlburgers for the first time ever. Can't wait to go back!!!

The resort exceeded my expectations. The view is breathtaking and the Mescalero Apache homeland is just gorgeous. I was with my kids so no casino for us. Our room had a beautiful view complete with wild horses grazing across the lake. The room was clean and really spacious. We ate at the brewery and the food court. Both were good. The front desk staff were kind and friendly. Our neighbor was a little noisy, playing music but quieted down for quiet hours. Much appreciated. The pool is due for a facelift but it was clean and warm, as was the hot tub. The ladies locker room (adjacent) has a steam room and a sauna. So nice! I recommend a stay.

Gorgeous setting. Rooms are dated, cleaning is not 100%. Food options on main level appeal to those that enjoy bar / fast food. Beer selections are good. Front desk service is lackluster, disinterested in resolving issues and outdated (return key card to front desk to check out). Pool area is being renovated but still in use. Casino smells of cigar smoke. Nice setting downstairs for cocktails and upscale dinner options.

I didn’t stay at the hotel… BUT we went inside the food area. It felt like a very nice resort! They had to fun arcades, some yummy food, and much more! It’s great (the music and water fountain were very peaceful)!Noteworthy details: Arcades, casinos, food

The five stars are for one of the dealers at the craps table named Kevin. He was very patient with the people in my group learning to play craps and everybody had a blast. Some of the dealers could learn a thing or two from him in terms of patience and tact. Overall we had a great time and just wanted to give props where it was due!

I have been going to the Inn of the mountain gods for years. I always enjoy myself. The rooms are sufficient with great views of a lake and a wonderful little patio to sit and have your morning coffee. I've always found the service to be good. Up until this stay I had never dined at Wendell's. DISAPPOINTED! I ordered the NM wagyu steak. Med rare. The edge on one side was med rare the rest was cooked up to med well.No pinkness!. For 95 $ I had to send it back. Another thing is at a certain price point you expect a certain level of service. Service was as good as a one star corner diner. Except for the gentleman who helped me when I couldn't find my waitress. Mind you I was at first seating with very few people. He was superb. The table linen was linty and the centerpieces dusty. Not being picky, but again at a certain price point one expects more. Next time I would rather eat from their little convenience store . Note: they did do another steak perfectly and comped me a dessert. Though the waitress never picked up plates or discards.

The location of this casino is AMAZING. The view of the lake and forest alone is worth the visit! We were driving from Arizona and searched for a place to eat. I saw that there was a casino in the middle of nowhere and decided to visit. The restaurant was great and the table games were fun. I definitely plan to come back and stay a few days to enjoy the ambience.

I expected more.Room was dirty. Dust on headboards, lamps, trash on floor, and prior peoples food and beer in frig. Everything looked worn.Room has an iPad to show amenities which is cool BUT it has a camera facing the bed. Beware. The pool is absolutely disgusting. The locker room and shower smelled so badly like urine. The floors were also badly in need of repair. The worst of all were the drunk guests in the lobby who were not hotel guests. They were walking around with backpacks which made them appear like hikers or homeless and bothering my family while holding their cans of beer and happily talking about being native from mescalero. I don't want my family around drunk people who were standing over us and trying to touch us. This is NOT a 4star hotel. FAR from it. I've stayed at beautiful hotels and this needs major work.

Our stay at IOTMG was exquisite and relaxing. Upon arrival, the complimentary valet service was top-notch. The staff were very welcoming and almost excited that we were there! They pointed out where check-in was, and then they were off. Check-in was a breeze, and there was no line. Again, we were welcomed warmly, and their hospitality was sincere. We had the opportunity to meet Johnny, the manager on duty. Walking into the room was a pleasant surprise. The Luxury King Lake View room 165 was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and the walk-out access to the lake. The mini-fridge and coffee maker came in very handy. Dinner at the Tap House was enjoyable, too! Appetizers, entrees, and drinks...who could ask for anything more?? After dinner, we sat outside and enjoyed the firepit in the 32-degree weather! It was awesome. The following day, we relaxed at the pool and jacuzzi. The water was perfect! We would return.

I've been coming here for years and over time have noticed some things that are definitely subpar but this experience has definitely been the worst. First we arrived at 430 (mind you check in is at 3). Our room is not ready. All the front desk had to say is that the checkin time is not guaranteed. The problem with that is we had dinner reservations at 5 so we had to go to dinner in our travel clothes. Next our room was finally ready around 6pm. Once we get to our room we notice a strong odor of smoke inside the room so much so it caused us all to get nauseous and headaches. We call the front desk and tell them that my children are feeling sick from the smoke and they bring a can of smoke deodorant as a solution. They said there are other rooms available but there are still people that need to check in so they refused to move us rooms. Needless to say the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Also the pool is disgusting. White paint peeling off the bottom of the pool floor. One of our towels was dirty. Looked like blood stains. Will never stay here again.

Tl;Dr get over here and have a fantastic experience, Make sure you ask for Jarvis!Hi there, this review is simply and only for the broken arrow tap House. We didn't actually stay in any of the rooms.I want to preface this by saying I'm pretty picky, I'm not a jerk I'm just picky, I always try to respect the servers but I'm definitely a what's in that and where is the meat from kind of person. We went to broken arrow tap room and had a server named Jarvis. I have waited tables for over 12 years Jarvis is one of the greatest servers I've ever had.Jarvis had an extensive knowledge of the menu not a maybe or kind of answer in the whole bunch he knew exactly where everything was from what qualities they were at and what ingredients were and what items. His knowledge blew me away. As for the food I will admit that the breaded artichokes came out a little greasy but they were still very good, he saw that, and ordered us a whole new order that was significantly less greasy. We didn't ask for it we didn't even need it but he did it.My wife ordered the knuckle turkey sandwich, which was great. I ordered the build your own burger it was so high quality, local and rich! Every single bite was full of flavor. All in all this is one of the best dining experiences we've had in months. The concierge to this entire experience was Jarvis. No joke if you come here ask for him and everything will be taken care of to your greatest desire. If it sounds like I'm going on a little too much it might be the giant beer he served me, which by the way they have an extremely large selection to choose from, on top of which their drink menu is two-sided, separated by different type of libation, and filled with options as well as a full bar!To summarize it was an absolutely wonderful gastro experience, with a great atmosphere and a phenomenal server.

I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! I got there and went to check in. My fiancé rented the room for us for Valentines Day. They would not let me check in, until he got there. The girl at the desk was very cheerful and nice. The manager she called from the back was a whole other story. First off she looked upset and bothered because the girl at the front called her. I’m sorry but if you’re not going to be welcoming to your guest please don’t be in check in. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. For the amount they charge you for these rooms you would think they would have comforters on the beds that weren’t ripped and falling apart! The pillows were stained with what looked like blood, and it was not from us. It was under the pillow case. I took pictures and video which I how I can upload. I noticed this the morning of check out because the pillow fell off the bed and the pillow case came off. This is unacceptable, unhygienic, and just plain gross! When I brought it up to the girl at checkout, she didn’t apologize and just shrugged it off. I had to ask her for a phone number and she handed me a pamphlet. I would not recommend this hotel to my worse enemy! And will make it a point to tell everyone how disappointing and disgusting this place is! Unfortunate that it does not let me add photos or video!Rooms: Very nicely decorated but VERY UNSANITARY! Blood stains on pillows and comforters that are ripped and torn! PLEASE CHECK YOUR PILLOWS UNDER THE PILLOW CASES. Two of our pillows had blood stains on the. 🤢🤮

We visited recently and they must have done some upgrades as the room we checked into was nice although the coffee table was scratched up quite a bit. While we were able to enjoy drinks in the Sportsbar, they will not let you take them onto the casino floor.Beware that not all of the venders in the food court are open late except on Friday and Saturday. So if you are hoping to go to Wahlburgers, you need to get there early. The wifi is abysmal-very slow!

My wife and I just had a wonderful stay (January 2024) including an exceptionally good dinner and Wendell's restaurant last night and great breakfast at Broken Arrow this morning. Kory, server at Wendell's, was wonderful: made great recommendations, provided prompt service without hovering, very friendly but gave us privacy. We have always enjoyed staying at the Inn, this was yet another great experience!Safety: Completely safe, handicap accessible, lots of security staff evident.Food & drinks: Excellent food, a little expensive but we'll worth the cost.

We only stopped by to visit the resort and have dinner! The restaurant, Wendell’s was amazing! You have to make reservations though, seems like the only fancier restaurant in town. We had sangria shrimp, lobster bisque, chicken tortilla soup, poached scalloped with buttered lobster, and New Mexico Wagyu steak. They were all phenomenal. Maybe slightly overpriced but the food was outstanding it was worth it! I guess because they were so busy, service wasn’t 5 stars but we would still go back!

I brought my wife and children this past Presidents’ Day! We stayed here Sunday and Monday with checkout on Tuesday. The weather was gorgeous! Our hotel room was a few steps from the lake. The morning and evening’s were a beautiful experience. We are local folks from Ruidoso, and took our home-cook meals from home. Our four children loved to swim each morning and evening! As for me I enjoyed sitting beside the fire place area viewing the mountain scenery. We had a few disappointments but they were minor. This place is still the destination resort and place to visit for a few days any chance you have! Thank you to my beautiful Mescalero Apache people for a fun two day getaway!!Rooms: We had a gorgeous view right outside our back door!!Nearby activities: All restaurants are on the main level.Walkability: In walking distance to great fun and games, including the swimming pool!!

Quality control on your employees. I don’t expect Las Vegas style luxury but at the very least don’t hire employees that are so rude and don’t want to be there. The servers in the bar that serves food and drink from 12-4 were absolutely horrible. They had horrible attitudes that you could see where turning other patrons off. Got one drink didn’t tip and got out of there. Would have got more drinks and gambled all night if not for this. Get your bad attitude employees in check

Rooms are OK.Most dealers were good but there were 2 rude craps dealers. One of them kept yelling at people for looking at phones. Every casino has this rule but at every other casino, if you turn away from the table and point your phone in a different direction while you send a text, it’s fine. Here, this dealer would yell at me the second I did that and it was really unnecessary especially since the dealers were taking forever in between play. Seriously all you have to do as a craps dealer is be a tiny bit amicable and everyone will have a good time and this guy couldn’t do that. Then later in the evening, the boss dealer realized that the other dealers had overpaid someone for his bet in the previous turn. They had a whole conversation about it and made the guy pay them back (!) while everyone waited. And it was only 40 bucks. I feel like a casino should just let someone keep the money if this happens and this was unprofessional to waste everyone’s time over.

Where should I start? For the amount of money that we spent on a deluxe suite lake view, we were shocked at what didn't work in our room. For starters, you can only order in room dining on an iPad. The iPad doesn't work in our room. The TV in the master bedroom doesn't work either. So instead of waiting for Technology to come and fix the iPad at 9 o'clock at night, we had to get dressed and go outside to get food and bring it back. We thought we were going to be able to watch TV when we got back in the bedroom, but we were sadly surprised that the TV was still not working. When I called to speak to someone in recreational services, they gave me the runaround. We finally got a hold of the front desk and asked a manager to call back. We got a call back from someone who wasn't the manager and told us that the only way that the manager would call us is if Technology would go and check if the room actually had an outage in the TV, master bedroom and on the iPad. So we let IT come to our bedroom at 10:30 at night, even though we normally go to bed at 9 PM. This was ridiculous!

Update: Here we are once again trying to enjoy some drinks nd play poker at the bar, but guess what, no workers came in so no bar ! Surprise surprise! Such a nice place , terrible people! No work ethic! .....Unfortunately this place is as good as it gets out here, definitely not Las Vegas so don't compare but if you're in the vicinity, this is what you have. The employees (All employees, restaurants, bars, etc. ) do not like outsiders & are very rude. Management or anyone for that matter will not budge to accommodate & trying to make the establishment more money is the last thing on their minds. The rooms are basic, nothing to brag about. If I wrote each of our bad experiences, this review would be a very long essay, so this is in a nutshell. Just remember, the employees are some very angry birds. I will always tip, even for terrible service, but they could have made so much more $$. P.S. Ruidoso is beautiful. The locals are not!

This was such an amazing weekend!! This was the 1st time I had ever been to the famous Ruidoso!! Wow, I enjoyed staying here at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. They have a large vegas style casino. The weather was pretty cold so we stayed in the resort. We spent the day on the 2nd floor enjoying the indoor pool and hot tub. The staff was so helpful and inviting. Thank you all for your awesome service. We highly recommend staying here to anyone who is considering a trip out to Ruidoso. You will not be disappointed!!! I absolutely loved the scenic views, including such beautiful sunrises and sunsets.Rooms: Rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have amazing

I was very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were out of service for the month of April. It would have been good to know this on their website during the booking process. I would have not booked during the time they were doing maintenance.Rooms: Nice and clean with a great view of the lake.Food & drinks: There are plenty of good places to eat without having to go into town if you don't want to leave the resort.
