I have to do a whole new update. Sooo in the RED HAT restaurant, there is a new manager and new chef,and they are changing thing's around a lot. They have gotten new cooks at night that rock at cooking,but I will tell you that when you place your order, there will be a little bit of a wait to get your food because THEY GOT A NEW MENU and the cooks are still trying to get use to it 😉 😀 but the wait isn't to long. Believe me, if you get a good waitress and she/he stays on top of your order,the cooks will work as fast as they can to get your order up, and then it's up to your waitress to get it out to you 😉 BUT OMG the NEW MENU is worth going for because the food is great and the NEW DRINKS so worth it 😉. I can't stress enough to try the food and drinks and meet the manager and chef,they are great. We needed them😉😃SO I HAVE A UPDATE: The Manager just put in a Wine Rack 🍷and a Dessert display so you can see what they have for the day/night and get you a piece. I'm sharing pictures of them so check it out ! And go visit the RED HAT believe me when I say you won't be let down ❣️

Been there lot's of times. I will say they, the slot machines are consistently a good pay off. Or I'm just lucky, 😅. But seriously good winnings, always have a great time there. Food restaurant is okay, could be better, can always improve menu. Drinks are great, although it takes the barkeeper's a while to serve you. Have to be patient.

Was on a Mother/ Daughters day out and Mom loves this Casino. We had a great time. I was on a little winning streak but lost it all. My sister won then lost but took 400.00 home. We all had a great time regardless of losing and it wasn't big so it was ok. This is a fantastic casino full of every game imaginable. As with everything involving gambling, it's all about luck. You got to know your limits. If you're ever in Ruidoso, New Mexico. This is the spot. It's beautiful here.

FYI, first timers, ask the guys in black on the floor for help. The people behind the desk just hand out cards, they don't like questions. However, they do give a free $10 card to anyone. It seemed like a fun place to spend some money. The restaurant is pretty tasty as well.

Nothing ever really out of place here. I've only ever used the gas station for fill ups and food items, so I can't say anything much about the Casino, management, or business as a whole. It's a casino and I don't gamble, so it's not something I'd visit or fully utilize. Heck, I'm not even sure if they have an event center or conference facility, lol. However, as far as the service station and convenience store goes, nothing out of place or missing with clean restrooms, working pumps, and lots of off the shelf items.Pumps have always worked, and I've been using this station for the past 10 years. Always fairly clean and well kept, with a few rare exceptions. The convenience store just inside is fairly well stocked with necessities and snacks. Milk, soda, coffee, adequate selection of everything.Bathrooms are always very clean too. If anyone has had a bad bathroom experience here, it's not me. Every time it's super clean. That alone makes it 5 stars, right? The only negative on the bathrooms is that the convenience store closes at some point, so if you're doing late night travelling, you have to walk all the way through to the back of the casino floor to use the restroom. But is that a negative really? At least there's an option. Never have issues during the day, only a brief time a few years ago the store was closed for remodeling.Overall decent stop for gas and other off the shelf items or confections. Has become my go-to when driving through.

Best Casino in Ruidoso we don't even go to the other 2 casino because the Apache casino is the best the machines are loose plus they have an area where you can enjoy a drink and play the machines which is great for me...restrooms are always clean and bartenders are always friendly and they know how to make a great margarita 🍹....love love love this casino

Usually it it very good and Usually the service is good but this time was horrible. Had to ask for our chips and salsa like 3 times could never find our waitress and when we did see her she acted like we weren't there. My wife had to yell across the restaurant just to get her attention for simple refills luckily the manager Cheyenne was great service. Hope they can improve

I visit the travel center a few times a year. I usually just go into the casino and play for a few hours. The casino is always clean and they have many new machines and a few table games. I usually leave and eat somewhere else in town. This is because the last time I ate at the restaurant here, it was not a good experience. Well, i was at the casino, i was hungry, and I had a dining credit. So, my wife and I decided, why not? I will tell you why not. The hostess was uninterested in us. After finally acknowledging us and seating us, we met our server. He was the best part of the meal. I did not catch his name. He was attentive, helpful and quick. After ordering our food at 620pm, we waited until 649pm to receive our meals. There were 5 tables with people, so it was not because they were busy. It was not a good way to end the day. It probably be another 10 years before I eat there again.

Friendly people here. I stopped in for food, Smokey B's Restaurant, and it was great! I highly recommend the shaved prime rib French dip, and the service was perfect. Big truck parking too. I will definitely try to stop here again...

Very nice on the outside. However, I totally disliked the coffee. It was not fresh, granted it was about 10pm on a Friday night, but there are many of us that love fresh coffee especially when its 34 degrees outside.
