The I125 Rest Area is a safe, clean, and cool place to stop. The restrooms are neat and clean. The rest area is clean and has plenty of shade and seating for everyone. This is definitely a preferred rest stop for those passing by. There are trash bins, there's grass, and there's even a trail! It felt like a safe, clean place. There were picnic tables under awnings and very private. There were also picnic tables out in the open under shade trees. Its a really nice place.

Excellent place to take a break. The restrooms are very clean. Plenty of parking. It is easy to enter and exit this rest stop. Plenty of historical markers to read while you stretch your legs.

Nice quick stop for a picnic lunch and restroom break.There is grassy area, but not much. Picnic shelters are a bit aged, but maintained and suitable. The restrooms are large. Be aware men's and women's are on opposite ends - I used a family restroom unaware men's was on other side. Restrooms are on the old side and fairly maintained and cleaned.This rest area is very easy to enter and exit with I-25 southbound.

Stopped here on my bicycle tour to take shelter in a storm. The picnic tables have storm shelters in place which are really nice 👍

SO impressed with the care given to this rest stop. Very clean restrooms, well stocked, everything operated properly, grounds are clean, trash cans obviously emptied regularly. Views are vast. Lovely place to stop and stretch, take a restroom break, picnic. Good job!!

No vending machines for snacks, but there are relatively clean restrooms. Beautiful view as well.

Pretty nice rest area. 1 of the men's bathroom sinks was shut down though, and there's no hand towels—only air dryers. Great view of New Mexico here. And don't sit on the picnic tables, because you'll have a scratchy bum for an hour or two afterward.

Clean and stocked with soap and toilet paper clean toilets 🚽, sinks and floors… trash cans were not over flowing and usually always see a worker cleaning and refilling items on every stop.

Clean bathrooms with 2 sinks and 4 or 5 stalls in womens bathroom. Many picnic table areas and many spots to park, and trash cans. Last rest stop for 60 miles, take advantage. I used it one overnight on a Thursday, and the bathrooms were being cleaned after I woke up. Very well kept. No dogs allowed on lawn, and must be on leash.

In the last 5 years every rest area i have stopped at has been clean and well maintained. I know not much of a review for this partucular rest area...but i feel it says a lot considering my memories of rest areas as a little girl in the 70s and 80s. At least rest areas on my route from/to Colorado springs and Arizona have been very acceptable and maintained.

It is well maintained and clean, which is the main thing. It is not as nice as some of the Texas rest stops, such as along I-40 and US 287 which presents interesting historical facts about that part of Texas. The buildings reflect the history and business's and farming of the area. Maybe New Mexico has nothing to offer or history for visitors to the State to draw more interest. The rest stops can be a marketing tool for the State.

The gentlemen that works there is a great person! Don't hesitate to make him your friend! He'll help you in any way he can, especially when you have car troubles! He keeps the whole facility (North and South bound) clean!

Clean restrooms, buildings constructed with volcanic rock which gives an interesting rustic appearance with modern amenities. Didn't find any vending machines, but otherwise a decent stop.

I tried to find out who I should contact about a plumbing problem a toilet constantly leaking and flushing by itself. They are going to have a whopper of a bill. I should say us taxpayers are going to have a hell of a bill. But I finally gave up and went on. I couldn't find out who I should report it to & there was no number posted anywhere.
